This electrical display was far stronger than any Thunder attack it had used before. The tears in Pikachu's electrical cheek pouches seemed to burst forth like lightning bolts at that very moment.
The surrounding ground cracked and split apart from the violent electrical discharge. The three legendary birds that were preparing to attack the river below had no time to react to this sudden development.
A massive bolt of lightning roared through the air. Before the three legendary birds could launch their coordinated assault, they were struck directly by the electric attack released by Pikachu.

Wrapped in the violent electrical energy, the three legendary birds let out piercing cries of pain. Lance, who was watching from a distance, showed a look of surprise when he witnessed this scene.
"The attack actually worked?" Lance said in amazement. Neither his continuous attacks nor Ash's had managed to inflict significant damage on the three legendary birds. But now, Pikachu's electric attack had somehow broken through their defenses.
"What?!" Giovanni was equally shocked. That trainer's Pikachu could actually release such an overwhelming electrical force.

"Grandfather, is that boy going to be okay?" At an orphanage in Lavender Town, a girl with twin ponytails named Stephanie looked worriedly at the news report playing on the television screen.
"If what Blaine told us is true, and this young man truly has an unbreakable bond with Pokémon, then I believe everything will work out fine," replied the kind-faced, elderly man sitting on the sofa beside her. His eyes remained fixed on the TV screen, wanting to confirm whether this boy was really the one Blaine had described.
Meanwhile, Ash, who had been sinking into the dark river waters, seemed to hear something and slowly opened his eyes. The moment he regained consciousness, his first instinct was to search for Charizard.
Charizard was also struggling in the water, desperately looking for Ash. In the underwater darkness, Ash could see the flames that refused to be extinguished even submerged in water - they continued to flicker beneath the surface, allowing Ash to spot Charizard's location immediately.
Ash held his breath and swam directly toward Charizard, while the Fire-type Pokémon simultaneously moved in Ash's direction.
"We lost," Ash thought as he reached Charizard's side and placed a gentle hand on its face. Though he couldn't speak the words underwater, the thought echoed clearly in his mind.
Charizard seemed to hear Ash's unspoken words and gazed at him intently. Its eyes burned with fierce determination, and it released a stream of air bubbles from its nostrils that scattered around them both.
Ever since evolving into Charizard, it had never been defeated and absolutely refused to accept loss now.
Though unable to speak underwater, Charizard expressed its unwavering thoughts to Ash through its actions and presence.
Ash felt the same way, as if he could hear Charizard's defiant roar responding to him in that moment.
"You're right! I'm not willing to give up either. I refuse to be defeated here like this!"

Charizard didn't make a sound, but Ash could hear the determined cry coming from deep within its throat. Ash slowly closed his eyes, gently caressing Charizard's face with one hand while moving his head closer.
After a moment, their foreheads touched lightly, and Ash suddenly opened his eyes with renewed determination.
"As long as our hearts beat as one, we're unstoppable!"

The moment Ash's inner thoughts resonated, Charizard instantly released a powerful burst of energy. This force pushed away the surrounding water, creating an incredible shockwave at the bottom of the river.
In the space between Ash and Charizard, a burst of rainbow-colored energy suddenly blazed to life, forming a colorful pattern that resembled a DNA helix.
Both Charizard and Ash began emanating an invisible, intangible power that transformed into streams of energy, perfectly merging together. In an instant, they were both enveloped in a brilliant blue aura.

The people above the water suddenly felt the river surge violently. Pikachu lifted its head slightly and looked ahead in surprise, sensing an inexplicably familiar presence.
The next moment, a blue light erupted from the dark river depths, and everyone was drawn to this amazing sight.
Giovanni on his helicopter also showed a shocked expression. At that moment, the smoke in the air began to clear, revealing the forms of the three legendary birds once again.
Although Pikachu's previous attack had been effective, it had still failed to defeat them completely. Now, facing the people gathered before them, Moltres didn't wait for Giovanni's command and directly unleashed a Flamethrower attack, sending flames toward everyone.
