The first thing Kameron did was go to his room; it was so familiar yet unfamiliar. When he was heading towards his room. He felt as if his legs just carried him there.
It took them a few hours to get to the house so by the time they arrived it was already dark. Kamerons mom knocked on his door gently and opened the door: "Honey rest for now, the doctor will come tomorrow early in the morning alongside your father. Rest is the most important thing. I got warm water and some snacks for you."
Kamerons mom walked in a set the water and snacks on the bedside table. She gave himna warm hug and walked out.
Kameron looked at the water and decided to drink it; he was feeling a bit thirsty anyways. It didnt take too long for him to feel drowsy and drift to sleep.
While sleeping he had a strange dream; he was 8 years old and next to a young boy. They were both tied up in a van. It was dark and cold. He was profusely bleeding from his chest and his hands had cuts.
The boy next to him kept speaking to him but he couldn't hear what he was saying. With just a blink he entered another scene.
This time he was at the hospital and was watching the news. On the news was a picture of him and the boy while a news anchor was speaking. His mom was sitting near him and he kept pointing at the picture of the young boy on the screen.
The young boys name popped up on the screen; "Casey Princeton." He kept whispering that name.
In a split second the scene changed yet again. In the dream the scenes kept changing to important moments of his life. Moments he never saw in all his previous lives.
He felt a hand touch him and suddenly woke up. As he opened his eyes he realized it was his dad.
His dad saw he woke up and quickly gave him a warm glass of water: "Quickly drink up. Dont you know how worried me and your mother were. We're so happy you're okay."
Kameron took the water and finished it in one sitting. A few minutes later the doctor came in and gave him a check up.
"Everything is good surprisingly. He just needs lots of rest and water. He should also try to exercise to get his muscles moving." The doctor said.
Kamerons parents thanks the doctor. The doctor quickly took his items and walked out. Kamerons parents also left Kameron alone. They wanted to give him some time alone; they believe he could use a break especially with what he went through the other day. What if it brings back old trauma.
Once they left Kameron starting putting the pieces together. Why this life was so different compared to his past lives. It's because of the kidnapping incident. In his past lives he never got kidnapped.
He could feel his memoried slowly coming back to him in waves. They were coming back so fast it gave him migraines; thankfully he was used to pain. Pain like that was nothing compared to what's to come.
Now that he has his memories he'll know how to better prepare for the future. He has more on the line now; his mom, his dad, and he needs to find a way to find this Casey person because he seems to be part of the reason of the change.
He clenched his hands thinking of whats to come. He didnt have much time. He only have around 3 months before everything starts. Within those 3 months he must find Casey, fortify the house and tell his parents of whats to come to help them prepare.
He must save the money they have as prices will skyrocket. Simply living will be hard, let alone the price lf living.
Crime will also skyrocket as random people will gain abilities and unfortunately not everyone has morals. He must also now try to find a way for his parents to gain some sort of ability to protect themselves.
He has so much to worry about and do, yet so little time. He doesn't know how he'll do it but he knows he must. Failure isn't an option this time.
