The sound of water being slapped repeatedly came, and some people on the bamboo raft followed the sound and looked. At some point, ahead of them, crocodile heads emerged from the water, some constantly rolling, or fighting with the crocodiles beside them.
Looking further ahead, the surface of the water was blood-red, with some remains still floating, but soon another crocodile emerged and snatched them away.
Wufu was grabbed by Ah Jiu and shot up from the water, stepping on the splashing waves to jump onto the bamboo raft. Both were wounded, and the short swords in their hands dripped with blood.
The smell of blood drove the things underwater mad, each one seemed to be stimulated, rolling and thrashing quickly.
Wufu shouted, "Everyone get on the bamboo raft, quickly leave, get ashore."
Another crocodile shot out, and Hoo Die struck it with a sword. The creature's tail slapped forcefully in the water, splashing a massive wave.
