Many people heard what Wufu said on the deck, and knew that the boatmen had worshiped the Dragon God. As they waited until bedtime, the sea remained calm without any signs of disturbance, making everyone secretly breathe a sigh of relief.
Only Wufu silently packed her prepared things. Purple Jade and Jadeite noticed and began to pack as well.
"Miss, there's still no movement, not even a raindrop. There won't be a storm, right?" Jadeite hesitated to ask.
"Better safe than sorry," Wufu laughed and said, "It's good if it doesn't come. But if it does, we won't be caught off guard. Remember to keep things within reach."
"Yes." The two of them quietly did as she said.
Su Luo happened to pass by their room, hearing the conversation, his steps paused for a moment. When they stopped talking, he went to report to Ah Jiu.
Ah Jiu was playing chess with Yan Er, and Yan Er teasingly said with a half-smile, "Su Luo, when did you develop a hobby of eavesdropping?"
