The weeks that followed were full of movement and activity. Jessica and Delilah were busy every single day preparing for both their weddings simultaneously even though Delilah's was still a couple of months away.
Either they met at Damon's or at Delilah's place.
They sat at dining tables with notebooks open, scribbling ideas and checking up various bridal pages on instagram.
They went from one dress shop to another checking out dresses for Jessica, while Delilah had her dress custom-made by Lucy's brand.
There were trips to flower shops, long talks with bakers and decorators, and endless discussions about seating charts.
Sometimes they laughed so hard they had to stop writing and just clutch their stomachs. Other times, Jessica would get overwhelmed by the options, and Delilah would take her hand, squeezing it gently. "It's your day, Jess. Don't think about what looks perfect on Instagram. Think about what makes you feel at home."
