[Some time before Azriel returned to the arena]
"Are you doing all right, Jasmine?"
Celestina asked it as she walked at Jasmine's side. Both of them wore their armor, Jasmine with her weapon already in hand, Celestina with her sword drawn and Azriel's gun tucked safely away.
Jasmine gave a half nod, and the two of them kept their eyes fixed on the back of Pierre, who walked several meters ahead as they followed him through the underground maze.
"I am fine," Jasmine replied softly, her focus unbroken.
'He is not attacking. But fighting here would be unfavorable for us as well, since it is too narrow, and he could escape in an instant.'
Celestina was not entirely convinced. After all, Jasmine had been in a sort of cosmic coma.
"Did that... Pollux guy do anything to you?"
That caught Jasmine's attention, and for a second her eyes snapped toward Celestina in surprise.
