Two hours soon passed and Alex headed back into the school, went to the principal's office, and entered inside.
The test had been made for him already and so he sat down and finished it completely in twenty minutes.
Thankfully a teacher had been on standby so they could examine his answers right then and there and tell Alex if he had passed or failed.
After around twenty more minutes of grading, the principal took the test in his hands and gave Alex a smile.
"Congratulations Alex, you passed the test with flying colors, not a single mistake. It truly pleases me to know that you were a student of our school." The man said before getting up and giving Alex a handshake.
"Right, it was a pleasure. When can I come to get my diploma." Alex asked the man straightforwardly.
"You can come in about four days. It should be done by then." The Principal said with a smile, not minding Alex's straightforward nature at all.
"All right, see you then" Alex answered before turning around and heading out of the office.
His mind wasn't on the test, in fact, he didn't give two fucks about the thing.
Once, outside and having nothing to do, Alex simply waited for Bella and the others to complete their classes whilst he sat inside the orange truck and listened to music.
Soon enough the time came and everyone got out of the school.
"Hey Alex, how did it go?" Emmet asked as he and the others came to the cars.
"I passed, ill be getting my diploma in four days." Alex said with a small nod of his head.
"So you won't be coming to school anymore?" Bella asked, her face clearly showing her sadness at the notion.
"Yeah Bells, ill still bring you to school everyday though, only if you want it of course." Alex said with a soft smile to his sister.
"Alright," Bella said nodding her head, she had asked this question countless times the past few days however it still seemed surreal.
"What are you going to do today? Any plans?" Alice asked Alex as she put her hand on her waist.
"Planning to head to the Quileute's today," Alex said causing Alice to frown in annoyance.
"Why do you want to go to those mutts either way," Alice said with a scrunched-up expression, similar to the one Rosalie and Edward were sporting right behind her.
"Their like family to me Alice, i cant not go and greet them. I also have to warn them about 'Him'" Alex said before he got up from the seat in the orange truck and threw the keys to Bella.
"You drive home today, I'll just go on foot to the reservation," Alex said.
Bella nodded in confirmation before she sat down in the driver's seat.
The rest quickly went to their own cars whilst Alex walked to the forest and started running.
It only took two minutes for him to arrive at the wooden gates of the reservation.
After entering inside, Alex didn't run anymore and simply started walking.
Before long he felt presences gathering around him though they stayed hidden behind trees.
"Get out here, Jacob, Sam," Alex said before releasing a sigh of annoyance.
With some rustling, and after a few seconds the entire wolf pack of the Quileute appeared before him.
Jacob looked at Alex and though he seemed happy to see him once more, he was also apprehensive.
"What's wrong? Not going to greet me?" Alex said before his lips twitched upwards.
Sam who was the leader of the pack released a sigh of his own before going to Alex and giving him a brotherly hug.
"It's been a while Alex, how've you been?" Sam asked as his lips curled into a smile.
"I've been great, what about you wolves? Caught any good deer?" Alex said with a light smile, the interaction between the two clearly thawed the icy atmosphere and Jacob quickly rushed to Alex to give him a hug.
"What's this? I thought you didn't want to greet me there." Alex said lifting his eyebrows.
"You don't smell human, that's the reason I was apprehensive," Jacob said straightforwardly.
"Because I'm not." Alex replied just as straightforwardly causing the rest of the pact to flinch slightly and raise their guards before Sam gave them all a look.
"So why are you here for? You don't usually come by just for fun these days." Sam asked as he turned to look at Alex.
"You're right. I didn't come for fun, in fact its an urgent matter." Alex said before he stopped and turned to face Sam.
"What is it?" Jacob asked curiously, his eyebrows crunched into a frown.
Alex's face had also turned serious as he looked at Jacob, Sam, and the rest.
"Yesterday night I encountered a supernatural creature that goes by Amon, he's extremely dangerous. In fact, I don't think that all of you combined would even be able to give him a single scratch. I just wanted to warn you to be careful. If you see anyone with a crystal monocle in their right eye then do not engage. If he asks you for something then comply and do not go against him." Alex said, his voice deep, clearly carrying just how serious he was about the matter.
"So what you just want us to act like dogs in front of this guy?" Paul asked as his face scrunched up, anger clearly starting to rear its ugly head.
"Paul shut the fuck up." Sam almost growled as he turned to face Paul, causing the young boy to shut his mouth almost instantly.
"Is he really that strong Alex?" Jacob asked.
Alex turned to face Jacob and nodded his head.
"Jacob, i can defeat you all at the same time, and not receive a single wound. And I couldn't even touch him." Alex said, his words caused the rest of the pack besides Jacob and Sam to frown, clearly angered by the fact that Alex had called them practically weaklings.
"This is quite a problem. Do you have any idea what he wants?" Sam asked Alex.
Alex turned around to face the pack leader once more, his face turning into a sad smile.
"I think I've dragged everyone in Forks into this Sam. He's not after anyone else besides me. I'm meeting him soon, if everything goes well than nothing will happen however if something does and we have to fight then do not intervene. You will just become a weakness for me and i cant guarantee that ill be able to protect everyone." Alex said as he shook his head.
His words only caused the frown on Jacob and Sam's faces to grow deeper.
"Why's he after you?" Sam asked once more, to him it didn't make any sense for such a powerful being to come after Alex who had only recently become a supernatural creature.
"I don't know Sam. But that's basically all that I wanted to tell everyone. The Cullen's are also aware so if you are in danger then ask them for help or they will ask you guys. I want you to forget the hatred for a single week, is that possible Sam?" Alex asked the man.
The rest of the pack besides Sam seemed to become deeply outraged immediately as they practically turned feral at the mention of the Cullen's.
"We can do that Alex, for a single week," Sam said, nodding his head.
"What the fuck are you saying, Sam."
"Have you gone Insane?"
"Trusting and helping those bloodsuckers?"
Sam turned to face the cry of outrage from his pack and released a loud growl.
"If you all don't shut your maws right this second, I'm breaking both of your arms and legs" Sam said causing the outraged cries to die out instantly.
"Are you even listening to what Alex is saying? We have no fucking chance of defeating that guy and you want to hang on to a thousand-year-old hatred that we didn't even have a part in instead of trying to secure the lives of the living." Sam said, his angered tone clearly showing in his words.
Turning around to Alex once more, Sam gave him his hand for a handshake which Alex took and nodded his head.
"Thank you for warning us Alex, if you need any help just come to us. We will help you to the best of our abilities." Sam said with a warm smile.
"Thank you, ill make sure to do so." Alex said before giving the group a final nod and disappearing.
It was instant, one moment they were face to face with him and the next he was just gone.
"He wasn't lying when he said he could beat us all was he?" Jacob asked Sam who was next to him.
"You've still got much to learn Jacob if you didn't feel the very aura that Alex was giving off. I have a feeling that not just us but even if the entirety of forks, the Cullen's included teamed up together, we would still have no chance." Sam said in a disturbingly low voice before he turned around, his body growing fur quickly and in almost an instant where the man called Sam had once stood, had been replaced by a ginormous wolf.
The rest of the pack quickly followed and they disappeared into the forest.
Alex meanwhile was running toward Port Angeles.
'That library and that old man, they might know something' Alex thought as he remembered the library where he had gotten the old supernatural creature encyclopedia.
'That's the only place where the information was actually true.' Alex thought before clenching his fists as his body transformed into his true silver-haired form.
His speed growing even faster than before.
'If only i could remove the seal that Alexander places on his core memories, that way i would most likely get some information about Amon' Alex thought in frustration.
It didn't take more than ten minutes to arrive at Port Angeles and another twenty to walk to the library.
Ring
Opening the door to the old building caused a small bell to go off, alarming the old man that a new customer had come inside.
Turning to face the door, the man saw Alex who had a slight frown on his face.
"Old man, it's been a while," Alex said, looking at the old withered figure behind the counter.
"It sure has, though for me it hasn't been that long at all. And I don't think it has for you either." The old man said with a slight smile on his face.
"I was right, huh, you aren't human are you?" Alex said as he went to stand in front of the counter.
The old man looked at Alex for a few moments before chuckling out loud.
"I guess you really have forgotten yourself huh? That damned witch is always correct, it's frustrating." The old man said as he shook his head, his chuckles dying down and the overall atmosphere of the library felt darkened.
"So you want to know about Aamon don't you?" The man said as he looked at Alex.
"That's right" Alex answered, his eyebrows scrunched and the roots of his hair already turned silver.
His pupils thinned like a feline.
He had unconsciously let out a part of his power due to the atmosphere in the dark library as well as the aura emanating off of the old man.
"I also wish to know, who you are and what your relationship with the past me is," Alex asked.
"Me?" The old man questioned before laughing once more.
This time however the laugh was hysterical, something that would only erupt out of the mouth of a complete madman.
Finally, after a few seconds, the laughter stopped. It did so very abruptly.
So abruptly that it made the atmosphere even eerier than the laughter itself.
"I guess i am an angel." The old man said, before the smile on his face widened to the point of becoming a wide toothy grin.
"As for my name? You can call me Lucifer."
