The news that the Demon Lord's army had been annihilated spread rapidly across the world, and everyone knew that Sebastian was the one who had slain the Demon Lord. For a time, Sebastian enjoyed an unparalleled reputation.
After eliminating the Demon Lord, Sebastian swiftly employed his system to develop the world. Outdated and inefficient production methods were replaced by automated mechanical lines, and the resources that could be extracted and produced daily increased dozens of times over the original amount.
With the complete transformation, the world had become a solid foundation for further development. As evening approached, Sebastian prepared to leave this world and return to the Divine Realm.
"Sir Sebastian is leaving?" Rosalie hurried over to Sebastian and Ristarte, her eyes showing a hint of reluctance.
"Yes, the mission is complete; it's time to move on to another world," Sebastian replied with a gentle smile.
Behind Rosalie, the Warchief looked at Sebastian. According to their agreement, Sebastian would grant him greater strength and a younger body, and he would serve as a representative to help manage the world. He had already witnessed Sebastian's incredible power and accepted the deal. He knew that even if Sebastian left this world, there was a way for him to keep track of everything happening here. Plus, the conditions Sebastian offered were very generous, making refusal impossible.
"Then I entrust this world to you, Warchief," Sebastian said slowly, shifting his gaze.
"Understood," the Warchief nodded.
"Ristarte, it's time for us to go," Sebastian and his companions returned to the Divine Realm, where other gods looked at Sebastian with admiration.
The world with an S-rank difficulty rating was not something easily overcome, but Sebastian had handled it effortlessly. Not only that, he had ordered his forces to manage other worlds simultaneously. With such extensive energy, even the gods couldn't match his feats.
At this moment, Adenela hurriedly approached Sebastian with a confident stride, loudly declaring as if staking her claim: "As expected of Sir Sebastian!"
She stretched out her hand and wrapped her arms around Sebastian's left arm.
Seeing Adenela's bold behavior, Ristarte felt a bit uneasy. She quickly moved to Sebastian's other side and hugged his right arm, saying earnestly, "I've been by Sir Sebastian's side all along, witnessing his heroic deeds firsthand!"
Their eyes met, neither willing to yield to the other.
"Excellent work," said Ishtar, the leader of the Divine Realm, stepping forward with admiration shining in her eyes. "May I ask what Sir Sebastian's next plan is?"
"I'm heading to another world," Sebastian replied calmly. "Not one controlled by the Divine Realm, but an entirely different universe."
Ishtar pondered this information for a moment. Sebastian's journey from a world beyond the Divine Realm, traveling through countless worlds, placed him beyond their usual scope. In a sense, Sebastian and his team were beings beyond their comprehension.
Hearing this, the two goddesses beside him, each with an arm around him, grew visibly excited:
"Sir Sebastian is leaving!"
"Sir Sebastian, can't you stay a little longer?"
"No, I need to explore more worlds," Sebastian said with a smile. "After completing the research on Crossed Thanatos, I've unlocked the portal to a new world."
"What's the plan now?" Adenela looked conflicted, her expression hesitant.
"Sebastian, I want to go to other worlds with you, too!" Ristarte exclaimed excitedly. She then turned to Ishtar. "Miss Ishtar, may I accompany Sir Sebastian to another world?"
"I also want to go," Adenela added eagerly.
Ishtar, the great goddess, was taken aback by their enthusiasm. She had never seen the two goddesses behave like this before and couldn't help but wonder what kind of magic Sebastian wielded that so captivated them.
According to the previous rules, a goddess without a mission was generally forbidden to leave the Divine Realm. However, now that Sebastian had organized the worlds, the workload for the goddesses had been significantly reduced. If Ristarte and Adenela wished to venture out, Ishtar considered it might be possible. Perhaps this was an opportunity to test this new arrangement.
"You need to ask Sir Sebastian for his opinion first," she said.
"It doesn't matter to me," Sebastian replied with a smile.
After a moment's thought, Ishtar finally nodded. "Alright, consider it a vacation for both of you!"
"Great!" Adenela and Ristarte cheered together, though they immediately exchanged glances like rivals.
"Study hard with Sebastian!" said the Great Goddess softly. "Sir Sebastian, I entrust these two to you."
Sebastian nodded and opened a portal to another world.
Adenela and Ristarte looked curiously at the swirling portal. The former was seeing such a portal for the first time, while the latter had only seen it once before.
"What is this place like?" Ristarte asked hesitantly.
"I don't know," Sebastian responded with a gentle smile. "You'll find out when you go. Ram, Betty, Esdeath, and Reinhardt, get ready to depart. Ristarte and Adenela, are you both ready?"
"Yes!" they answered in unison.
"Let's go!" After Sebastian and his team stepped through the portal, they suddenly appeared on a narrow, winding road.
"Where is this place?" Ristarte whispered cautiously, moving carefully and observing her surroundings.
Sebastian also examined the environment carefully, trying to gather information about this world. Traveling to another world required understanding where and when you are, so you can plan your next steps and prepare for any potential crises.
