"Wow, Grandma, you're glowing today!" Thea beamed, admiration sparkling in her eyes.
Grandma chuckled, the corners of her eyes crinkling, a smile blooming as warm as sunshine.
Soon, the pair strolled toward the City Heritage Museum. The tiled steps led them to the ticket window, where Thea leaned forward. "Two tickets, please."she requested.
"Every time I come here," Thea said softly, glancing up at the grand facade, "it's like time folds back… and I'm that little girl again."
Grandma Grace smiled, "Me too... It's been ages since we last visited this place."
After exploring the museum, they wandered to the little park next door..
From the tiffin, she took out a fresh sandwich, its edges wrapped in a soft napkin and passed it to Grandma Grace with both hands....She ate with relish, each flavor exploding with the comfort of home.
Grandma Grace's eyes glistened as she studied her granddaughter — a precious piece of her heart sitting right there beside her.
