[Amil's POV]
"Well well well, looks like we got ourselves some very useful aid." said the other individual approaching us.
The person in question had also and interesting take on fashion. Most of his outfit contained black with some white and dark blue to complement the look. On certain parts, there were accents of what looked like pale-gold and stars on the ends of his jacket on the front and on the back of his gloves. Then there's that white, feathery part on his right shoulder. To top it all off, he has an eye-patch on his right eye. Hmm, I wonder what that's for?
"At least, that's what I'd like to say for sure, but we have to know whether you are that type of aid, or another storm brewing." said the eye-patched man in front of us.
"Don't worry Kaeya, they aren't enemies. Well, at least Lumine and Paimon aren't. I don't know about the white-haired guy though." said Amber.
"I don't think he's our enemy either. He helped me drive away the dragon after all" said Lumine in my defense.
She looks at me and gives a smile of reassurance. I respond back with a smile of gratitude for defending me. I then turn to the eye-patched man, now known to me as Kaeya, and say
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance Mr. Kaeya. My name is Amil, and as for my disposition in regards to being your ally or enemy, I don't see a reason why I should be your enemy or ally."
Although these are the most rational humans I've met so far, I won't let that stop me from taking some precautions. You never know when someone might pull a fast one on you.
"My original purpose was to come to Mondstat to rest for a while" I continued.
"Well sir Amil, you've come to the right place for respite. However first, we need to reward you 2 for driving away Storm Terror. He's been in a not so good mood for some time now" said Kaeya.
"I suppose I don't mind getting compensated, though I was merely defending myself and not actively looking for any rewards whatsoever" I responded.
"Same here" chimed in Lumine.
Kaeya gives a small chuckle "How humble of you both. Those display one of the top characteristics of a Knight of Favonius. Now why don't you come with me? I'll take you to our Acting Grand Master where we can properly thank you 2" said Kaeya.
We then follow Kaeya to a certain building and he lets us in. We then arrive in front of a door which I presume is the Acting Grand Master's office.
"Hold here, I'll let her know of your presence" Kaeya says to us. We nod in response and he goes into the doors.
Less than a minute afterward, he comes out the doors and lets us know that we can enter.
What greets us next is a room that looks more like a library than an office due to how many books apply here. It is only due to a woman sitting at a desk on the opposite end of the room that I can say otherwise. She looks up from her desk and spots us. She then stands up to greet us and welcomes us with a warm smile.
"Greetings, and welcome to Mondstat travelers. Kaeya has informed me on what the 2 of you have done, and I agree that compensation is an order. But first, allow me to give you a proper thanks as well" said the woman.
"We appreciate the gratitude. I assume that you are the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius?" I ask only realizing afterward how much of a mouthful that was.
"Yes, I am. But you can just call me Jean" she replies. Ah, that's a lot more simple.
"Over here, we have our magician expert and librarian, Lisa" Jean states.
I turn my head to see a woman in a purple dominant outfit with and equally colored hat, with some black here and there, including the stockings. There was also the same pale-golden accents on her clothing as well with black gloves and a purple neck less to top it off.
"Come now Jean, librarian would've been fine" Lisa comments. "But I too share her sentiment, I'd also like to thank both of you for helping us with our dragon problem. It all helps that you both are easy on the eyes. One is cute and the other is hot" she continues.
Cute? Hot? I look over at Lumine and she looks back at me with and an equally confused face. She also sported a small pink hue on her cheeks, most-likely as a result of her comment.
"It wasn't too much trouble on our end and, thanks I guess for the compliment" I respond. I then turn over and whisper to Lumine "Am I really hot?"
She then turns to me and gives me a good look over. Afterward, the pink hue on her cheeks gets a little brighter and bigger. She then whispers back in clear embarrassment and a bit of shyness "Yeah, you're pretty good looking. Enough to at least make most girls turn their heads."
Huh. I did not take into consideration my countenance could be that pulling. Well, it wasn't my priority either so it can't be helped.
"*Sigh* Lisa, could you stop flirting with our guests please?" Jean asked in exasperation.
"Come on Jean, you have to admit I'm right. Especially Mr. Amil here" Lisa smiles mischievously in response.
Jean sighs again, while Kaeya gives us a wry and apologetic smile.
