''What do you mean you're sorry''. Eddie shouted. 'Oh my God, my career is ruined'. As I sat down speaking to myself, I started searching for my clothes when Stuart walked over and put a new set of clothes on the bed and went out, gently closing the door.
A while later, someone knocked and I opened the door, it was room service. I took the food inside and sat down to eat hungrily like I hadn't eaten for days. My body felt like I'd been drained of energy. As I ate, I slowly regained my strength.
I cleaned up and went out of the room, took the elevator down and I was in for a shock when I saw the reporters. I used the shawl to cover up the marks and hickey on my neck and shoulders.
I had just passed by the reporters and hadn't had time to breath in relief when someone called my name .
''Eddie Greg". I literally froze in shock, how could someone still recognise me despite my covering up. Wait a minute, I knew that voice, it was Lauren
'Eddie, is that you?. What are you doing here at early hour'. Lauren asked feigning surprise. That statement successfully brought the attention of the paparazzi on me.
' Isn't that Eddie Greg, that actress who said she was pure'. I heard someone say.
'Turns out she's not that pure'. Another said.
Soon enough the whispers grew louder and finally turned into aggressive questions.
Lauren stood there watching, I didn't miss the hatred flashing through her eyes. Hatred ???? I didn't have time to think too much about it as the paparazzi questions and rough movement was already throwing me of balance.
As I was about to fall, I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the pain to come but it never came instead I fell into a pair of strong arms.
