"With the way you were standing there, it would probably take up to twenty minutes to come back to your senses."
Stuart said and it looked like that was the longest sentence he had ever said.
"Well thank you for not waking me out of shock." Eddie said with sarcasm laced in her words.
Stuart:"....." He was just joking, there was no need to be so sarcastic.
"Miss, your bag." The attendant said and with the look on his face he was obviously surprised because no one had ever dared to speak to Stuart like that.
Eddie took the bag then she and Stuart left there.
Soon the car was arriving at a very posh area which was buily wity houses tgat boldly spelt money on it.
Eddie's mouth formed an 'O'. She had never seen something like this even the exterior of the houses were more beautiful than the place they just left.
Eddie couldn't stop herself from asking "Where are we?"
Stuart glanced at her and didn't say anything. Eddie was getting frustrated when the car came to a stop.
Eddie and Stuart came out of the car and went towards a very luxirous looking house, obviously the house was the most expensive here, it was secluded from the other house giving it a very unique and mysterious vibe.
It had a whole area to it and the house itself was thrice as big as the other houses.
"Shall we." Stuart said bringing her out of her reverie. Eddie's face turned red with enbarrassment .
She stood there for 'God knows how long' staring at the house in awe and she was caught.
Eddie didn't take his hand and she started walking towards the house, she had almost gotten to the door when Stuart strode past her and slipped his hands in hers.
Eddie tried to pull out her hand but did not succeed.
"It's just for show, bear with it". Eddie heard Stuart say and stopped struggling.
Suddenly a blue light shot out of the door without thinking too much I already knew it was a facial scan and the doors opened automatically and a robotic voice said.
"Welcome, Master Stuart".
Eddie: "…."
Oh my god! Was this how the rich used their money? Don't they have anywhere better to spend their money?
Stuart stepped into the house almost dragging me with him because I was standing there totally dumbfounded.
Eddie was even more speechless when she entered the house. This rich people really need someone to teach them how to manage their money, this was too extravagant.
Eddie couldn't stop herself from admiring the interior of the house, it looked like a money hole.
But her shock was soon replaced with hatred. Back then the Gray family was not this rich but after swallowing a great existence like the Greg family they grew richer and stronger.
She'll make sure they pay for the suffering her and her family experienced. Eddie bumped into something snapping out of her thought.
"Ah". Eddie exclaimed stumbling backwards.
Eddie shut her eyes tightly bracing herself for the pain that was about to come. Instead of the pain she felt a hard and sturdy embrace with a faint woody cologne.
Looking up she saw Stuart looking at her with a hint of amusement in his eyes as if silently saying 'I just left you for a few minutes and you've already gotten yourself into trouble.
Eddie quickly stood up and apologized to the beautiful looking girl.
"I'm sorry".
"Hey dork, are you blind or something?" The beauty yelled.
Eddie quickly covered her ears.
"I already apologized, why are you shouting?" Eddie said rubbing her ears.
The beauty's face turned red from embarrassment and anger.
"How dare you?" The beauty raised her hand bringing it down with force towards Eddie's face.
Stuart held the lady's hand in mid air and said with a bone chilling voice.
"Miss Vanessa, what do you think you're doing?" Making Vanessa flinch.
