Finally, Arata thought. Finally, I can ask the question I've been waiting for.
He could ask anything now—like how to awaken the Sharingan... even the Mangekyō Sharingan. He could ask how to grow his chakra, how to defeat an Ōtsutsuki, or even learn their weaknesses. He could ask how to get strong enough to stand against people like Shibai Ōtsutsuki or how to use Shinjutsu. Heck, he could even ask how to beat the Kara organization!
He could ask how much the world has been messed up by the Ōtsutsuki clan.
Or how to awaken his dojutsu early.
Or how to combine Ninshu with nature itself. Maybe even how to use Hagoromo's "Creation of All Things" jutsu.
Yeah, all those things would be super important.
But Arata didn't want to ask about any of that.
Right now, he wanted to know just one thing—something that had been bothering him since the beginning.
"System," Arata said after thinking for a moment, "I wanna ask... who reincarnated me here? And why am I even here in the first place?"
The system went quiet.
For a whole minute, there was nothing but silence inside his head.
Then the voice returned.
"Host," it said in its usual dramatic tone, "there are two ways I can answer this."
"First: You can meet my creator—the one who reincarnated you. He will tell you himself."
"Second: I can tell you directly, right now."
"Choose your option."
Arata looked at the two options in front of him and thought for a moment.
The second option… the system would just tell him the answer right away.
But the first option… he could meet the creator. The one who actually reincarnated him. That felt like the better choice. If he met the guy in person, maybe he could ask more than just one question.
Yeah, Arata nodded to himself. This one's the better deal.
"I choose the first option, System," Arata said.
"You have chosen your path," the system replied. "Lie down on your bed and close your eyes. When you open them again… you'll be in front of him."
Arata laid down on his mattress, pulled his blanket up lazily, and closed his eyes.
The moment he opened them again, everything around him was... empty.
A pure black space. Quiet. Cold. Void.
"Limbo?" Arata whispered to himself.
Yeah. He recognized it instantly.
It was just like in the Naruto anime—when Hagoromo met Sasuke. A place between life and death. A space where time didn't move.
Then—suddenly—a voice echoed around him.
"Oh? You don't seem surprised."
Arata turned around quickly.
There, floating in the air, was a being with glowing blue eyes. A third eye sat in the middle of his forehead, also shining blue. Two curved horns on each side of his head. His shoulders had floating blue orbs, and he wore long white robes. His skin was pale white—almost glowing.
The sight gave Arata chills.
Wait... no way... that's—
"Shibai Ōtsutsuki," the name popped into Arata's mind.
He'd seen enough fan art online. This was exactly how fans imagined him—and it matched. Completely.
"Yes, I am Shibai Ōtsutsuki," the being said, smiling.
Arata gulped.
At first, the smile gave him goosebumps. Then the thoughts started flooding in.
Why did Shibai reincarnate me?
Is he going to use my body as a vessel?
Is he planning to destroy the Naruto world?
Am I his pawn or something?!
The more he thought about it, the more scared he became.
"No, no, child," Shibai said calmly, looking at him with a relaxed face, like he was reading Arata's mind. "I'm not using you as a pawn."
His smile grew wider, almost like he was amused.
"Yes, I'm the one who reincarnated you here," Shibai said. "Not just you… but others, too."
"Others?" Arata blinked. "Wait… who else?"
"Like Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki," Shibai replied casually.
"WHAT?!" Arata shouted.
Then—another voice said the same thing.
"WHAT?!"
Arata turned his head to the side—and his jaw dropped.
"Kurama?!"
The big red fox sat beside him, just as confused as he was. His eyes wide, mouth slightly open.
"Yeah," Shibai said with a small laugh. "I brought him here too. Figured, why not? It's a good time to talk."
He floated above them like a lazy god, smiling down.
Kurama squinted. "Oi… what the hell is going on here?"
