While Yakasa was tying his long, brown hair into a ponytail, Gai was already preparing his next attack - one that would end the entire battle if he was hit. "It's all or nothing - I'LL MAKE SURE I KILL YOU WITH THIS SHOT ALONE!"
---
Gai pressed right off of the ground with his powerful attack aiming right for Yakasa's heart, followed by a loud splat of blood that fell onto the grass. Instead of his instant death, however, Gai was the only one who had just obtained an injury - a millisecond before his hand pierced right through his heart, Yakasa had used the patience he had built up over the past few years to use the time frame to his advantage - now, his left hand was holding Gai's right hand, and Yakasa's right hand pierced Gai's skin. "You were right about it being all or nothing," Yakasa confirmed. "I took the time I had before to study you, and it seems like my mental research is finally complete!" He leaped straight into the sky with his fist in the air, smiling at Gai's shocked expression. "I will not fall out of glory, even if I'm retired!"
Volume 13, Chapter 18 - All Or Nothing
Many years ago
The island of Gala, about 120 miles south of Hamila. On the coast, about 200 people led by a young Yakasa aggressively scurried off the ship. "We won't let them get the best of us!" he called out, showing a deep cut on his left palm. "The Land of Stone has finally united for the raid on Gala, and now it is time to rescue the man who has held us together for years!" Everyone that was on the ship cheered at Yakasa's bold speech, their minds filled with confidence. This was the day Yakasa went from zero to hero, successfully rescuing his brother from the clutches of an unknown organisation. Although he had no idea on who it truly was, he had concluded all those decades ago that he had fully dealt with the people who had taken his brother away.
This was the beginning of Yasaka's story - showing how he became a hero of the Land of Stone.
---
"Bold of you to think you're going to be alive after the battle ends!" Gai screamed, attempting to reactivate his forcefield. "Anything can happen in a fight, which is why your guard is always supposed to be up!" Yasaka taught Gai, his fist going right through the forcefield (that he had shattered earlier) and hitting him right in the face. Gai attempted to stand up once again, but all his spinning head could see was the famous picture of Yakasa's raid on Gala, leading his army of 200 people deeper into the island.
He was now making the same pose he made in that picture - his left hand was pointing up to the sun in the cloudless sky. "Over the past few decades, the world of entities has fallen into even more turmoil than it was before!" he claimed. "I see something in the very people who infiltrated your place of operation - they're going to be the ones to save the world, and I'M GOING TO LIVE TO SEE THE DAY WHERE EVERYONE HAS A SMILE ON THEIR FACE!"
He transformed his left hand into stone, and the same purple aura from earlier swirled around it. "You won't do anything to the Land of Stone - I won't be going anywhere anytime soon! GALAXY PUNCH!"
Yakasa's fist plunged right into Gai's face, and his body went flying across the grassfield like when he had been hit. The stone on Yakasa's arms disappeared, leaving a sprinkle of glitter that rained down on him. "I… won…" he thought to himself, posing victoriously in the grassfield.
The choice between all or nothing had concluded - for Gai, it was nothing. But for his opponent, it was more than all.
