Sylas stared at the Gene in silence.
It should have been a great accomplishment. It didn't quite feel that way.
He wasn't impressed.
Honestly speaking, Sylas couldn't remember ever feeling impressed with himself and his accomplishments. On rare occasions, he might praise someone else. But he had never had that same internal dialogue about himself.
Whenever he saw someone accomplish something great, he was impressed because he didn't expect it from them.
