On a certain day, three people could be seen walking on the road in Eldoria District. They were Chen HaoYu's parents and sister.
Looking around the houses, Chen ZhiYa said, "There's a lot of houses here! I wonder which one is brothers?"
They walked past a lot of houses before stopping at one of the houses.
"I think this is supposed to be the place," Chen Liying said as she looked at the address Chen HaoYu had given her.
"Then let's knock and see if brother is living here!" Chen ZhiYa was the first one to rush up to the door to knock.
"He's living here." Chen Zhongwei suddenly said.
The two girls looked at him and Chen Liying asked, "Did Xiao Yu tell you that?"
Shaking his head, he pointed in front of the house, "No, but look in front. The basic defensive array formation is not even activated and you can also see that other basic arrays are also not activated when there's no [For Sale] written on the door."
Looking around again, the two also confirmed that there were no basic arrays activated.

Both the parents sat down on the sofa while Chen ZhiYa roamed the house checking each room.
After Chen HaoYu placed a cup of tea for them, he sat down.
"Xiao Yu, How have you been this past months?"
"Uhh... It's been good, I have adapted to living here!" Chen HaoYu smiled, he didn't reveal about what happened to not worry them.
"That's good! By the way, why didn't you talk to us so that we can help you set up those basic arrays that came with this house?" Chen Liying asked.
"I... Uhh... Forgot to ask you guys about it. Hehe!"
"Nevermind, I'll go and activate those arrays later and tell you how those works. Anyway, why don't you tell us about why you have some kind of magic energy around you?" Chen Zhongwei said as he had noticed that a magic energy is swirling around Chen HaoYu's body.
Both Chen Zhongwei and Chen Liying could feel the chaos energy swirling around Chen HaoYu, they also noticed that if they stared at him they would get dizzy, and they vaguely heard some murmuring coming out of Chen HaoYu.
Even though they didn't know that it was chaos energy, they are worried that something might have happened during the past months Chen HaoYu was gone so they asked why there is magic energy around him.
Before Chen HaoYu could speak, his mother spoke first with excitement, "Yu, did you manage to find a way to fix you magic core?'
"What! Brother fixed his magic core!" Chen ZhiYa was excited as well when she heard that just as she finished checking the house.
Smiling, Chen HaoYu said, "Yeah, my magic core is now fixed!"
"Wah! Nice! Nice!"
Both his parents sighed of relief, knowing that their son manage to fix his magic core.
"How did you..."
Just as Chen Zhongwei spoke, he was interrupted by his wife.
"Dear! That doesn't matter anymore! As long as Yu is safe and now can cultivate. What does it matter to know?" Chen Liying angrily said.
Raising both his hands up, Chen Zhongwei smiled and said, "You win! You win my darling!"
"Humph! Yu, you haven't had breakfast yet right? Mom will cook breakfast for you!" Chen Liying said as she stood up and went to the kitchen.
While Chen HaoYu's mother prepared breakfast, he and his father went to the backyard to have a chat.
Chen ZhiYa wanted to go with them but didn't go when she saw their serious face through the glass door, so she went to help her mother prepare.

"Xiao Yu, I'm not going to ask how you fixed it but I wanted to know... Now that you fixed your magic core, do you know what's your magic energy? Have you started cultivating again?"

Chen ZhiYa is after all studying arrays in school, so creating some basic arrays to be used on the house is easy and could also help her be more proficient in carving runes on the array stones.
Arrays are usually carved into a specific array stone especially for small arrays. But array that are bigger or of higher levels, array stones are just their to help since most of these big arrays were carved into the earth and uses precious materials to maintain it.
Array formations that are carved on array stones are portable and uses one's own magic energy to activate.
While array formations that are higher levels had jades or magic crystals or other things that have magic energy to help maintain it.
Of course this is different if an energy gathering array is included in the making of the array.
Since as it's name implied, it gathers the energy from it's surroundings to power the array.
If an energy gathering array was placed on top of a spirit vein, then the amount of what the energy gathering array could intake and output is double the amount of energy.
As for those energy gathering array that are carved into array stone, well they are one time use and are not infinite. Because array stones would turn into dust once the array formations have been deployed and used up. As for its time of use, it also vary according to the quality of the array stones.
Array stones are not commonly used by artificers for creating artifacts unless it's a one time use artifacts. They have their own way of carving array formations into artifacts and they usually use artificial runestone or blank runestones for carving the array.
Artificial runestone are commonly used by all artificers while blank runestones are more rare to find than natural runestones.
Artificers can also use natural runestones for artifacts if they find one and using natural runestones will make the equipment affinity with the said magic increase.
Natural runestones already have their own arrays and one will be able to know it's array formation by deciphering the inscribed runes.
As for blank runestones, there's no need to mention how it works as the name said it all. One can use blank runestones to carve an array formation or runes for increasing spells or even use it for summonings.
Basically, blank and natural runestones can be used for array formations, spells, and summoning techniques depending on what the person wanted to carve or what the runes are inscribed in it.
