That same afternoon, an old man wearing grey shirt and shorts slowly walked in to the library with his hands behind.
Seeing the old man come near, Li MengYao stood up and greeted him, "Chairman, what brings you here?"
"I told you that I'm not the chairman!"
"But your status is comparable or even above of the chairman, what else can I call you except for chairman?"
Shaking his head, the old man said, "Anyway, how's that kid doing?"
"You mean Chen HaoYu? I think that he's getting the hang of watching the library..."
"Has anything happened since he came in duty here?"
"Not that I know of... Oh right! I always see him standing rather than sitting whenever I come for my duty or maybe it's just me thinking too much?" Li MengYao replied as she thought that Chen HaoYu standing whenever she come for her duty may have been a coincidence.
"... You don't have to think too much about it, he can do what he wants as long as nothing happened to him during his work time and that he watch for any thieves." The old man said even though he knew about Chen HaoYu lacked of magic energy but just didn't say anything.
"Okay!"
"Alright then I'm just here to pick up some books to read. Take your time in cultivation!" He said before going to the second floor.
~~Second floor of the library~~
Looking for books to read, the old man passed by a column of bookshelves.
"Hm?"
The old man went back to the column of bookshelves then looked at the empty table near the window.
Pondering for a while, he pinched his finger then a blue array formations formed in his iris before disappearing. Knowing who took the book, a smile emerged on his wrinkled face, "Interesting... You can actually read the language written."
The faded words on the book Chen HaoYu took was in English and was not a language from this world. The book was old and the old man nor anyone could read the book because they thought that the book was written in an ancient language.
Still smiling and happy that someone was able to read the language, he took a worn out paper out from his cosmic bangle, from afar the bangle looked just like an ordinary black bangle with white carvings, there are words written in English on the paper:
Behold! Chaos Energy can be seen with the naked eye but it also cannot be seen. One can feel it but one would be deceived and make it out for other energies. It possesses no scent, no tangible trace. Listen closely, and you may succumb to its mesmerizing whispers, lost in its chaotic symphony. Ignore its call, and it becomes but a simple mundane noise, a whisper of its true power.
There lies an ancient chaos tree, veiled from mortal sight by the tumultuous interference of magic energy, rendering it invisible to all who seek its presence. Yet, attempts to impose upon its sacred ground are futile, ensnared in the illusion of constructed buildings wrought by those who lay eyes upon it. Dare to communicate with the chaos tree, and see what wonders may it unveil? Blessings or a disaster, only fate shall decide.
Straightening the worn out paper carefully before the old man placed it on the table and also placed a small grey pouch on top of the paper.
After doing those, the old man left the library happily without looking for books to read.

It was already night time when Chen HaoYu and Zhao Congming finished chatting, now Zhao Congming had already left.
"Ugh, I only read one book today..." Scratching his head, he stood up, "I'll continue tomorrow. I've learned a lot from Zhao Congming about arrays anyway."
Going up the second floor, he muttered, "My only problem now is my magic core because I won't be able to create artifacts if I don't have magic."
Chen HaoYu plan to put all the books he's carrying to the table where he got the dilapidated book.
Coming to that place, he found a worn out paper and a small grey pouch on top, "Who put this things here? Rarely anyone come to this place..."
This column is a place deep in the library and the books here are mostly useless that's why no one comes here most of the time.
Picking up the paper and reading the content, he was shocked, "Woah! This looks like a part of that book's missing page."
Actually, Chen HaoYu didn't know that English language doesn't exist in this world. He came to this world and we're able to already read, write, and speak the language of this world and plus with no knowledge of this world, he didn't think that being able to read the book and this paper would arouse someone's interest and maybe in the future trouble will come to him just by being able to read a language never been heard or seen in this world.
Reading the last sentence of the paper that said:
If you are able to see and communicate with the tree then you are closer to Chaos energy. May fate and blessings be upon you.
Sidenote: New information! That tree looks just like an ordinary tree! Damn it, how the hell am I suppose to find it? I can't talk to every single tree can I? To whoever is reading this, don't bother looking for that tree! Even I don't know where it is!
"Uhh... Then isn't this useless?" Chen HaoYu was speechless.
Clearly someone wrote in that page as the handwriting of the sidenote is different from the words above.
"Gosh... I thought that I can have new clues about chaos energy." Sighing, he put the paper back then opened the pouch.
Inside the pouch, a small black seed quietly lay in it.
"... Is this supposed to be the tree?" He thought.
"Or maybe not?" Then he saw a small paper beside it with a note that he could take the pouch and the paper along with the book he got earlier.
He looked around first then he took the pouch and the paper but he left the book because the rule of the library is that no one is allowed to bring any book from the library to the outside so Chen HaoYu can only take the pouch and the paper.
Even if the note said that he could take it, he still didn't because he thought that he could just go back here again to continue reading it.
So after bading goodbye to Li MengYao, he went home.
