Shen Mianmian didn't notice that shortly after she turned her head, a woman leading a child walked out of the shop next to her and stood in the spot where she had just been standing.
The little girl the woman was holding by the hand seemed to be around four years old, with an ice cream in hand. Seeing the woman intently watching the car drive away, she couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.
"Mommy, why are you staring at that car? Do you want to ride in a car too?"
The woman smiled and shook her head, "No, I just ran into an acquaintance."
The child blinked, "Was it the pretty auntie from before?"
"Pretty auntie?" The woman laughed, then asked, "Was she very pretty?"
"Mhm." The little girl nodded vigorously, "I've never seen an auntie as pretty as her."
Seemingly uninhibited, the little girl had barely finished speaking when she held up her ice cream, "Mommy, taste this, it's really delicious."
