Okay, so only a day or so had now passed. Which was just about how long it had been, since me and Sakura had gone and transformed both the Maze Card and the Illusion into two more Star Cards. And this had also been how long since me and Sakura, had both had to use both the Maze Card and the Illusion Card. But as for why we both had to use and transform both the Maze Card and Illusion Card? Well that was because when me and Sakura had been present at a fair at our school last week. And this was also when Julian had accompanied me and Sakura. But, when me and Sakura had once again proceeded to sense Clow Reeds presence. And after Sakura had given an excuse to Julian for both me and Sakura to go and try to find the source of Clow Reeds presence.
But, despite both me and Sakura using the Maze Card and the Illusion Card in order to help us locate the source of Clow Reeds presence. Both me and Sakura wound up falling unconscious, just after we had proceeded to attempt to peer behind a curtain inside of the star display. Which since both me and Sakura had wound up blacking out, neither of us were able to see who was behind the curtain. And me and Sakura still didn't know who was behind me and Sakura sensing Clow Reeds presence. But this as it would happen, was soon about to change.
But as it would happen, as with regard to the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. Because well, as with regard to me and Sakura's current situation...
"Wow, so Ms. Mackenzie is a shrine maiden at this shrine? Wait, why does that remind me of someone else? Wasn't 'she' a shrine maiden as well? Wait, why am I thinking about this right now? Man I really need to learn to compartmentalize my thoughts. Because I have no idea why I just thought any of this," I had proceeded to think to myself. And sure enough, me, Sakura, and Li, were all currently at our towns shrine. Which just so happened to be the same exact shrine, where me and Sakura had captured the Maze Card, the Return Card, and the Through Card. With the exception being that the Return Card wound up going to Li. But, with me and Sakura having passed the Final Judgment, the Return Card, as well as the other Star and Clow Cards, were now under our ownership. But, getting to me, Sakura, and Li, and with us currently being at the shrine in question. Because as it would happen, with now fast forwarding to about a half an hour later...
"Oh you have got to be kidding me right now, how is it that a carving of a horse suddenly winds up coming to light from out of nowhere?!" I then proceeded to think to myself. Because as it would happen, me, Sakura, and Li had once again proceeded to suddenly sense the presence of Clow Reed. And sure enough, an inanimate carving of a horse, had proceeded to suddenly come to life from out of seemingly nowhere.
And so without either me or Sakura wanting to waste any more time. We had both proceeded to pull out our respective Star keys.
"Key of the stars, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light, Release!" Me and Sakura both chanted in unison. And after a sever gust of wind and sand. Both of our respective Star Keys expanded into our respective Star Staffs. Which was then followed by both of us then proceeding to quickly grab them with a quick over handed gasp. To which we both then proceeded to quickly twirl them, and then quickly finish off with our usual respective battle ready poses.
And as Li proceeded to ready his Jian, I had then proceeded to pull out the Wood Card. And as I then proceeded to quickly throw the Wood Card up into the air. Me and Sakura both then proceeded to quickly raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Wood Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Wood Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Wood Card spirit appeared, and had then proceeded to quickly go over to the horse carving. To which it had then proceeded to try and wrap itself around the horse carving with the use of its vines. But unfortunately, the horse carving simply just wound up braking free from the Wood Card spirits grasp. And then...
"You have got to be kidding me, it just broke free!" I then proceeded to say in what was clearly a very frustrated sounding tone of voice. But rather then me choosing to dwell on and continue to be frustrated. I instead decided to try and think of another idea, on how me, Sakura, and Li, were going to subdue the horse carving. And thankfully, Sakura was quick to come up with a new idea. And as the horse carving had then proceeded to attempt to charge towards and attempt to attack me, Sakura, and Li. Li was quick to act, as he then proceeded to pull out one of his elemental talismans.
"Element...Wind!" Li proceeded to to shout out, as a large amount of wind, had proceeded to shoot quite quickly from the elemental talisman, the moment that it had proceeded to make contact with the outfacing flat side of his Jian. And sure enough, the large amount of wind then proceeded to quickly make contact, as well as slam quite violently into the horse carving. And as a result, it wound up quickly sending the horse carving into the nearby pond of the shrine. And as if knowing this as a sign for me and Sakura to take the initiative. Sakura then proceeded to quickly pull out the Thunder Card.
And without me or Sakura needing to exchange any words between either of us. Sakura then proceeded to quickly throw the Thunder Card up into the air. Me and Sakura both then proceeded to once again quickly raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Thunder Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Thunder Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Thunder Card spirit appeared, and had then proceeded to quickly go over to the portion of the pond that the horse carving had just fallen into. To which the Thunder Card spirit, had then proceeded to send quite a bit of thunder into the pond, which wound up instantly shocking the horse carving. And not even a split second later, wound up completely destroying it.
But unfortunately, before the horse carving had fallen into the pond from the force of Li's wind from his elemental talisman, it had proceeded to tear through some power lines. And as a result, had caused the lights all around the shrine, to instantly go out. But thankfully, both me and Sakura were quick to solve this. Which was compounded, by me then proceeding to pull out the Glow Card.
And once again, without me or Sakura needing to exchange any words between either of us. I then proceeded to quickly throw the Glow Card up into the air. Me and Sakura both then proceeded to once again quickly raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Glow Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Glow Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Glow Card spirit appeared, and had then proceeded quickly light up the shrine, as well as its surroundings. I could now breath a sigh of relief. As me and Sakura, had now been able to transform three more of the Clow Cards into Star Cards. And apart from the power going out at the shrine, everything had once again gone our way.
