Nerim hugged Asmodeus one last time before she climbed out of the seat.
Then fleetingly cast a glance back with a hand on her abdomen before Mei ushered her away. Asmodeus drew a long breath, steadying his emotions. If he were like this, then he couldn't help but believe this news must have been a great shock and delight for her, too.
"What are we doing next?"
The dragon asked with embers flashing from her nose.
He just looked at her with a vile smirk while rubbing his hands together like some kind of evil merchant about to do an illegal deal.
"What do you think? Go stand on that stage, and transform!"
Asmodeus's heart stayed in countless places, Serena fighting at the entrance, and Nerim heading to the normal seating area.
Then his desire to fight the immensely powerful Abyssal beneath them and win. After awakening Axiom, the slight tremors beneath the earth from its movements became clearer, along with the puzzle of its powers revealed itself.
