I had finally opened the shop, the beauty potions were selling like crazy, the stocks was quickly going down, seeing have rare the flower to make it was, i increased the price by double, i now sell it has 80 galleons for a big size, 65 for medium, 2 smal size is 40.
My vaults was quickly getting filled up gold Galleons, silver Sickles, and bronze Knut.
I also caught Alvin several times smiling, I suppose he's feeling more useful as the day went by, good for him. The more he enjoys working, the more hard working he would be. At least I know the business is in safe hands, but I'll still have Sasha eyes on him and report back weekly.
***Time skip***
I'm in my normal form, I received my letter on the textbooks I'll need for the next school year, second year how exciting..., well at least I can shop however I want. So I started to make my way to Flourish and Blotts.
Located in Diagon Alley, it is where Hogwarts students purchase their required textbooks each year. The shop is described as having shelves stacked to the ceiling with books as large as paving stones and others as small as postage stamps.
I went there last year for my books. I went into the store and immediately noticed a commotion, is that two grown men having a fight on the ground? A red haired man..Mr Weasley? Figured, the other man surprised me more, Blond plantium hair?..Mr Malfoy, that's extremely baffling for the pure blooded man that prides himself more than a bloody peacock.
After watching a bit, until they separated the two men, I walked away to go pick out my text books, before fully leaving the area I looked around and ended up making eye contact with Harry. Of course he was here, he's always there at the sight of trouble. Flashing him a quick polite smile, I soon went back to what I was doing here in the first place, I wasn't able to see the flushed cheeks of the boy.
As I was scrolling through for my textbooks, I was still amused by the drama that happened in the store. I chuckled, then I had a voice behind me.
"What did you find so funny huh, Zabini?" The familiar annoying voice of Draco was heard.
I sighed and turned towards him "Malfoy." I nodded in greeting..
"You haven't answered my question, Blaise." He repeated.
"I don't want to, but if you're insisting I'll tell you I was amused because of your father fighting a Weasley on the ground like a muggle, he's rather embarrassing, isn't he?" I replied blankly.
Draco was surprised by words, "Do not talk about my father like that, Zabini!"
"Why shouldn't I?, he embarrassed your family house today, I wonder what all the other purebloods would say" I smirked.
"I'm sure word as gotten out by now, I can already hear the gossips. I believe Lady Malfoy wouldn't be so pleased, don't you think?" I added more fuel to the flame.
Draco was already extremely angry at my words, face turning red as he sneers at me. He knew it was true that his mother wouldn't be pleased to hear the news of what happened in public that could tarnish their reputation.
Before he could respond I assume rudely to my works, he heard his father called from him, they were probably leaving by now.
Then he turned to me and gave me a glare,
"This is definitely not over, Zabini." He sneers coldly at me, before turning away dramatically towards his father, who proceeded to scold him.
I cracked a smile, well what a turn of events, the days keeps on getting more hectic. I gathered my textbooks and went over to the counter to pay for them, hmm I also need my potions ingredients. I will get them afterwards.
After paying, before I left the store, I heard word that Gilderoy Lockhart. Gilderoy Lockhart is a world-famous celebrity author and supposedly our new defense against the dark arts professor for this year. It was interesting enough, I had rumors how ridiculous his so called achievements were.
I took a glance at Lockhart would was still sighing his books, it seems his readers are mostly middle aged women. That seems about right, I scoffed and quickly left the store, I needed to get back home to complete my holiday assignments before I forget.
