Hearing what his soldiers said, Kurozumi Orochi thought hard, searching his small brain, and then made up his mind.

"I definitely didn't have a friend like this in the past," he concluded. "This person must have come here looking for something." The thought annoyed him.

"This guy is really a thief, daring to come to my house to search for something. In the Land of Wano, that's as good as asking for death."

"I don't know this so-called 'friend.' Kill him right now. Once it's done, bring his head to me."

"Yes!"

Hearing Kurozumi Orochi's order, the soldiers—who had been hesitant before—suddenly felt emboldened. They ran outside to inform the other guards about the situation. None of them knew Arthur's true identity, so they couldn't fully understand who he was.

But once Orochi gave the command, the soldiers turned their attention to Arthur, their eyes filled with hostility, as if they had been injected with new energy.

"Alright, you brat! How dare you pretend to be the boss's friend? You're dead now!"

Arthur was surprised by how cautious Kurozumi Orochi was, but he quickly recovered. As the soldiers attacked him, Arthur dodged their strikes with ease.

When they realized he could avoid them so effortlessly, the soldiers charged at him in a frenzy. What did it matter if Arthur was strong?

At the end of the day, these soldiers were just low-level lackeys, following orders to survive.

If they disobeyed Orochi's command, they'd be killed for it.

To them, defying either side wasn't an option.

The soldiers had no choice but to press forward, even though they were clearly outmatched. Arthur, however, had no interest in wasting time with them. He unleashed his 100,000 Volts attack, holding it for an extended duration.

In an instant, the soldiers were struck by lightning, their bodies scorched. Even the guards stationed at the city's defenses were eliminated in one swift strike.

The onlookers, who had gathered out of curiosity, were stunned by what they saw. Many of them froze in shock, but when they realized the extent of Arthur's power, panic set in, and they scattered in all directions.

None of them had expected anyone to dare challenge Orochi's forces alone, let alone someone with such overwhelming strength.

It was clear that Arthur wasn't someone they could afford to provoke.

"I told you," Arthur said with a shrug, "if you'd just stepped aside, none of this would've happened. But no—you had to go and anger me."

With that, he continued walking.

Before long, Arthur spotted another group of soldiers training nearby. As soon as they noticed him, the soldiers froze for a moment, their eyes wide. Then, as if on cue, they rushed toward him.

Arthur was momentarily surprised by their aggressive formation, but when they charged to attack, he transformed into lightning.

A sudden thunderclap split the air, and the sky darkened as bolts of lightning struck down. In an instant, the entire group of training soldiers was reduced to charred remains, collapsing one by one in front of Arthur.

Arthur patted his chest, feigning shock.

"That's it? I thought they'd be tougher than this," he muttered to himself with a smirk.
