In a luxurious car , sitting on the back seat there's our MC, Sam humming a tone as he's on his way to the church with his parents.
"Dad, are we there yet?"
"For the nth time son just relax. We're close now."
Arthur was both happy and annoyed at his son as he's acting so nervous all of a sudden. He was always someone who acted mature despite being so young so he's happy seeing his son behaving like a child after a long time though it irritates him to answer him nonstop.
Victoria was happily watching their banter while humming a melody which somewhat relaxed Sam surprisingly.

Infront of Sam there's a magnificent building with a structure similar to a church in the modern earth. It was the place where people acquire their system which shows and helps them grow their strength.A system named god's blessing. With the skill that the person awaken there will sometimes be blessings of gods with various effects such as growth enhancements, special divine spells and many more.
As they went in Sam saw a few youngsters sitting on a raw with nervous expressions. They were all around his age with some being close to 18 while some are at the age of 12 or so. Those who awaken at a young age will be quite powerful regarding their jump start and having high potential.
A/N:As most of the MCs start, even our MC has only middle grade talent. In other words it's an average start.
"Son, you go sit with them."
"What about you guys? "
" See that man and woman with red hair. He's the guild master of red sharks and his wife. I'm gonna meet him. Don't worry. Just be yourself son."
"Mhm" Hearing Arthur continuously reminding him to not to worry Sam got even more nervous.
' It's alright Sam. Just sit down and wait for your turn. They won't make much fun of you if you haven't awakened'
"Haa" as Sam sat down at the last seat available he saw his parents happily chatting with the red head couple.
" Hi Sam. Looks like we're really fated huh "
'Huh?" Sam was dumbfounded as he saw a red haired girl sitting beside him though it took a few moments to remember who she was.
" Oh.. Hi Eli. Didn't see you there. hehe " Sam nervously laughed.
" Yeah. You always acts so level headed, why are so nervous anyway."
"Hehe.. That's what I want to know as well. "
Even Sam himself didn't know why he was nervous for nothing all of a sudden. It feels like it's his own emotions but at the same time they aren't.
As Sam was slowly chatting away with his friend who was the daughter of the man his father is speaking with he can't help but remember what his brother once said.
'Ahh.. you're really lucky brother. You were born with a soulmate. You don't even have to try to get a girlfriend.' Though he remember that his brother was drunk and all at the time after being rejected by a girl he can't exactly throw away the thought.
Why you ask, because Sam and Eli were both born at the same time and they knew each other since kids. They did grow distant when Eli went to join the military academy with having enormous strength and still being unawakened, Sam chose to follow the normal path to become a highschooler. He didn't even remember her that well now since they've been in different leagues as military students aren't allowed to leave the school island. Yes, their school is a whole island and it's not a small one.
Since it's been a long time they last met they were sharing there past experiences.
"Elizabeth storm"
Sam and Eli were suddenly interrupted when Eli's name was called.
"Oh.. it looks like my turn. I didn't even know someone went in. I'll wait for you. Let's go for a walk once it's done. "
Elizabeth said as she got up and went towards the prayer room.
Sam glanced around.
'Judging by how they're so happy they must have all awakened. Then so will I '
When people awaken there isn't still a way to actually know about it. So most people check it yearly at the church until they are 20. Though there are cases people being later awakened it's still on the minor side. Unless you have an ability like Arthur's there are some adventurers that can sense awakened people through their perception which they develop when getting stronger.
A few minutes passed and Sam saw the young redhead running to her parents with a smile which means she awakened and it must be good since she's so happy.
"Samuel Light"
Sam heared his name was called and he looked at his parents who were looking at him with stars in their eyes. He chose not to react them and went inside the room.

When Sam entered the room he saw a young looking nun standing at the side with a gentle smile.
She was wearing a blue and white robe with light blonde hair, just missing the wings to be called an angel.
" Samuel just go to the middle statue of Goddess Gaea and say God's blessing." a melodic voice which soothes your soul once heard instructed Sam who just followes everything with a trance with his cheeks as rose as a peach.
Sam went to the statue which adorned a motherly figure with a neutral smile wearing a long dress and a wooden crown with flowers and leaves. All in all ahe gave off a gentle vibe which gently made Sam kneel in one leg and preyed " God's blessing" as everything went white around him.
