Chapter 6 - KVN

I didn't stop running until I got home and saw no one home, but who cares? I ate lunch and dinner all in one and then fell into a heavy sleep.

I couldn't care about the autonomous spirits on the road or anywhere else, or the lack of them, but what I couldn't get out of my head was squaring up with this lady for real.

And weirdly enough what I could only see in my dream was that same notebook with those same words.

KEEL VIN

KVN

In red writeups...

At least now I had the time to ponder on who wrote these words, they were definitely not me, at least I know how to spell my own name.

I tried pronouncing it to see what the mockery was intended to do to me or how they intended it to be but it was weird to the tongue when it now felt like suddenly this dream lost all sounds.

It was like I was hyperventilating due to the loss of sounds or the me in the dream, but soon I came to be and looked around myself in the dream.

Suddenly there were colors and a visible image of my school.

This was the last place I wanted to be.

But regardless, there was this comfort to me as I was in my classroom and in my seat; however, there were no other students besides me.

It was too boring to only sit at a place when suddenly my notebook appeared in front of me and then flipped to an empty page.

Immediately after that my lost red pen appeared on the table.

I was about to pick it up to continue my artistry when it suddenly floated in midair and touched down its ink mouth on the book, and I watched as it scribbled the same words KEEL VIN.

And then underneath it, there was another word; however, it wasn't the usual.

I watched as the pen wrote a capital letter R which immediately adjusted to a K.

It was like an auto-correct of sorts.

And then the next word was a U which immediately shaped to a V weirdly but this part was comical.

And then an N.

Was this some kind of trick, I thought to myself when suddenly I understood that was where the KVN came from, but the other letters though.

RU...N I thought to myself as a shiver ran through my spine unwillingly.

With my knowledge of how these things work, what if it were my subconscious trying to talk to me, though?

Then it clicked again, the whole write-up meant keel vin, which is my name, and then run ordinarily meant I should run. Writing it in red ink didn't make it any funnier.

It was then I noticed footsteps along the hallway, clanking like it was some sort of heel, and at a fast pace.

One had to know that my classroom was at the extreme, it was the last in this row which was why it was near the restroom, and at the other end of the row was the staffroom, there were only four classes on this floor so if someone was coming from that direction without stopping and on heels? They were not coming from the restroom and were most likely staff.
