Tang Shichu asked Ye Que to take Chi Zaozao home and to talk to Qing Er about the matter. He stayed behind to look after Xiao Xue and Wanjun.
Ye Que also thought that staying here was pointless, and it was better to go home first and talk to Qing Er.
At five in the morning, they drove back home.
Because Qing Er had an early flight to catch, when Chi Zaozao and Ye Que returned at five, she was already up, packing her luggage.
