It was early morning on Christmas Day, and Hermione had gotten up and out of bed at six-thirty. The only reason she had done so was so she could spend the day with Lucifer as much as she possibly could.
She crept out of room and over to his, opened the door, and went inside. He was still asleep, but that wouldn't be the case for long. She walked over to him, sat down on the bedside; and began to caress his face with her hand, "Daddy, it's time to get up."
Lucifer stirred a bit in his bed, and she saw his eyes open, "Is that you, Granger?" His vision was blurred, so he was unsure if it was actually her.
Hermione leaned down and placed a kiss upon his lips for a brief second, "Does that answer your question?"
He was much more awake now, "It does, I recognize the feel of those lips anywhere," he yawned and stretched as he continued to lay there.
"Well, then if you want more, you're going to have to get up Mum will be up at seven and Grandpa said he'd be over by seven-thirty from his walk, it's good for his heart. Mum's friend Linda would also be here," Hermione said to him, standing up.
"What time is it now?" Lucifer asked her as he sat up.
"Six thirty-three," She said and watched him swing feet from under the covers, and stood up, only in his boxers. Needless to say, she was quite enjoying the view.
Lucifer put on a pair of pajama bottoms with a matching shirt, then turned to her, "You hungry?"
'For your cock? Always.' "I am, were you planning to fix breakfast?" Hermione asked him, while openly staring at the crevice of his buttocks, hoping for a intendu breakfast right here, frigging her tongue inside.
"Only something small to eat, nothing grandiose," he said, smiling at her.
"If you're offering, I'll take some toast with marmalade. While you make that, I'll get some tea going," Hermione said, holding her hand out to him.
He accepted her hand on his own, "Sounds good to me."
Blushing lightly when she realized just how small her hand was in comparison. She took him out of the room and to the kitchen, where they let go of each other, and she began to get the tea going while he toasted some bread. After a few minutes' wait, she poured two cups, and Lucifer had one piece of toast for each of them with marmalade on them.
They sat down at the kitchen table and began to eat and drink when Hermione started talking again, "So, what did you get me for Christmas besides that book?" she asked, hoping he'd let it slip.
"Well, it's nothing big physically, but it cost more than a Nimbus 2000 did," Lucifer said, glancing at her 'If you only knew just how much more.'
"Oh, now I can't wait to see what you got me," Hermione said eagerly.
"Well, it's more jewelry, but I've seen you wearing the earrings I got for you at the Yule Ball. But surprising thing is, you haven't pierced your ears yet? So, I am guessing there are spells... Well, It's up to you, if you don't like it, I can always take it back and get something else," Lucifer said to her, eyes racking over her perfect earlobes.
"Um, yes, Parvati taught me one of her makeup charms. I was thinking about asking Mum to have pierced this year. But did you really spend a few hundred pounds on jewelry for me, again?" Hermione asked tartily, she couldn't believe herself at all, now really thinking about whether she was a gold digger.
His heart skipped a beat, "Yeah, I did."
"Such a Casanova," She practically purred, and wanted to be touched over her naked skin, "So if I have to guess... it has to be a ring, right?"
Lucifer nodded, pleased she guessed it on the spot without much thinking.
"I would love to, and well, I can get it done after today, start wearing your earrings without a spell," She smiled at him, which to her, he seemed to relax, but then suddenly remembered the topic she wanted to discuss, and felt incredibly ashamed for past years, "Speaking of, after we finish eating, let me go and get the necklace you bought me. You can get the one I got for you. Oh, but... I didn't pay too much for yours, I hope you don't...? Even though my Mum is a dentist and makes good money, I couldn't ask her for too much to buy it with... The Sapphire in your necklace is real, but the jeweler said the carat and clarity were the cheapest he had... I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize, it could've been a fake Sapphire and I'd wear it proudly," Lucifer said, causing her face to heat up.
She smiled at him again, "I love you... just so much."
He placed his hand on hers, "I know you do....." It was five minutes to seven, and the light in the hall turned on, drawing both teens' attention.
Hermione's mother had appeared, with her boyfriend Mark slightly behind her, "Good morning, did you both sleep well?" she looked quite cheerful herself today.
"Well enough with how giddy I was last night," She said bashfully.
"Oh, and why were you giddy?" Jane asked in a suspicious tone.
"W-Well..." Hermione paused, remembering what happened last night, she did end up satiating her inner demons.
"Hermione Jane Granger, you are going to give Wendell another heart attack!" She didn't like her daughter's blushed face even more, guessing what her out of hand daughter had probably done.
Before the lecture started again to behave, Lucifer spoke in her stead, "She and I shared a Christmas kiss."
Hermione was blushing, but she wasn't trying to hide the smile on her face, "It made getting to sleep difficult."
"Oh, how lovely," Jane was very happy with this response, she only requested her daughter to wait it out for a couple of days, at least not at home. She turned to Mark and kissed him, but not for the first time that day.
"So, grandpa will be here in half an hour, right?" Hermione asked, trying her best not to look disgusted by the scene, but it was very difficult, and took the patience of a monk.
Jane turned to her daughter, eyeing her with an impressed gesture, "Yes, he will be here in half an hour from Victoria's Park."
"Okay... um, there's something I need to ask..." Hermione said slowly, shifting nervously from her bedding.
"Well, out with it then," Jane said playfully as she and Mark went and sat at the table.
"After today, can I get my ears pierced?" She asked her mother, appearing as though it was just a causal talk of buying a casket of eggs.
"Your ears pierced? You're asking to get them holed?" Jane asked to be sure she heard her daughter correctly.
"Yes... I-I understand if I can't, but-" Hermione started, but Jane cut her off before she could ramble on to explain her carefully written essays how it would be better if she did.
"Of course you can, I have no problem with it," Jane said, waving it off; again she was in a very good mood today, now that her daughter was comfortable with pursuing a man, after her husband's long years of being gone, "Although your Grandpa might, but if you don't want to tell him... I won't. And it's hard to say no if you've already gotten them done."
"Really?" Hermione asked incredulously she was given the signal of green light and Jane nodded, with an exaggerated genetic eye-roll, "Oh, thank you, Mum!" She jumped up and hugged the older woman, bouncing on her toes.
