Chapter 2 - Entering The New World

After saying goodbye to Aaryan, Nitish was racing toward his home, his pace quickening with every step—mirroring the rising excitement on his face.

Finally, he had a chance.A chance to prove himself.A chance to change his life.

Nitish lived in a run-down apartment, located in one of the more neglected parts of Faridabad. But since the rent was low, it was the only option he could afford.

As he reached the front door of his building, he saw a box lying outside. Without wasting a second, he grabbed it and rushed inside, unlocking the door to his tiny apartment.

Once inside, Nitish dropped the box onto his bed and, buzzing with anticipation, began to open it. But the packaging was so tightly sealed that it refused to budge.

"Oh come on, you cursed box! OPEN UP ALREADY!!"Nitish cursed under his breath, wrestling with it for nearly 15 minutes before finally managing to tear it open.

The moment he looked inside, his heart nearly stopped. It was from the very company that was hiring beta testers.

Inside the box were several things:

A next-generation virtual reality wristwatch

A manual

A letter of acceptance

A thank you note

And lastly, four bottles of A-rank nutrient solution

Now, if you're wondering what these nutrient solutions are...These are specially formulated supplements, created through advanced biotechnology to enhance the human body's performance and development.

They come in various ranks—starting from the lowest E-rank, followed by D, C, B, A, and at the very top, the ultra-rare S-rank.

Their price increases drastically with rank. An S-rank solution costs over ₹10 crores per vial, and even then, they aren't something the average person can get their hands on.

Nitish didn't even have money to buy a single E-rank supplement. So seeing four A-rank solutions right in front of him made his eyes widen in disbelief.

Without wasting a second, he picked up the bottles and stored them carefully in his fridge. These solutions could prove to be extremely beneficial for his body.

Nitish then pulled out a few packs of instant noodles from the fridge. He needed full energy before diving into the game.

After finishing his meal, he strapped on the VR watch, lay down on his bed, powered the device on, and then closed his eyes.

A few seconds later…When Nitish opened his eyes again, he found himself in an empty space.

Glowing miniature stars floated gently around him. The environment was so breathtakingly beautiful that no place on Earth could ever compare.

As he stood there, wide-eyed in wonder, a voice suddenly echoed around him—

"Hello, dear beta tester!Welcome to the Celestial Domain! This is your selection menu. Before you can enter the world, you'll need to choose your class!"

Nitish turned and saw the words coming from a tiny floating fairy.

She was stunning—so much so that if she had been a normal girl on Earth, boys would have been head over heels for her.But here, she was no bigger than Nitish's fist.

"Class...?Wait… Does this mean this is an MMORPG?"Nitish's eyes widened as the realization hit him.

An MMORPG—Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game—is a genre where players enter an open world, compete or cooperate with others, battle monsters, explore dungeons, and follow epic storylines.

These games are known for their intense competition and limited resources. Only the smartest, strongest, and most strategic players rise to the top.

Nitish was pretty good at games like these—So when he heard that this was an MMORPG, a confident smile appeared on his face.

The fairy looked at Nitish and said,

"Come on now, are you going to pick a class or what?"She was clearly getting tired of Nitish being lost in wonder.

"Wait… how are you even speaking like that? You seem almost real..."Nitish said, completely thrown off by how lifelike she seemed.

The fairy burst into loud laughter.

"Oh you clueless boy! Don't tell me you still haven't figured it out?You actually think this world is just a game? Something fake?Let me make it clear for you—it's 100% real."

"Don't joke around," Nitish replied skeptically."Even the developers said we can respawn. If this world was real, I'd actually die when I die in the game, right?"

"Oh, you can respawn," the fairy explained patiently."You can come back to life after dying—but not because you're in a game. It's because you're not from this world.People like you are called Swargdeshis—outsiders who come from another realm."

Nitish stood frozen, stunned by what he was hearing.

Real? A real world?Teleportation? When did all of this become possible?Could it actually be true?

"So... you're saying all of this... is real?" Nitish said quietly, still trying to process it all.

"Of course, my sweet summer child. In fact, if you like someone here, you could even bring her back to your world with you.But just don't get any ideas about me—I have a boyfriend!"the fairy teased with a mischievous smile.

"Don't worry. I'm not interested in fun-sized drumsticks," Nitish said dryly.

"RUDE LITTLE MONKEY!"The fairy was clearly not pleased with that response.

Nitish's attention shifted to the holographic screen that had appeared in front of him.It displayed a list of available classes, each with its own description.

Class Categories:

Weapon Specialists – Berserker, Swordsman, Archer, AssassinMagic – Element Mage, Witch/Wizard, Nature Mage, CursemancerHealer – Light Healer, Priest, Oracle, SaintSpecial – Summoner, Martial Expert, Shooter, Tech Expert

Nitish saw a total of 16 different classes. Each one had its own unique role, its own strengths… and its own weaknesses.

He spent an entire hour reading through the information on each class carefully. He couldn't afford to make a mistake.

Because the class he chose now…could mean the difference between surviving or dying in this new world.

But the choices were overwhelming, and every class had something special. His brain was beginning to short-circuit from all the options.

"Hmm... which class should I pick..."Nitish muttered, lost in thought.

And then—he stopped.

"Alright. I've made up my mind."He smiled, turned to the fairy, and said confidently:

"I choose the Swordsman class."

The Swordsman wasn't particularly specialized in any one thing. It was a balanced class—average in everything.

But Nitish knew that with enough customization, he could turn it into something extraordinary.

"Are you sure this is the class you want?" the fairy asked.

"Yes, this is the one," Nitish replied firmly.

"Final answer? Should I lock it in?"

"Yes, yes, just lock it already!" Nitish said, growing impatient.

"Reaaally? Are you super-duper sure?"The fairy asked with an exaggerated pout and twinkling mischief in her eyes.

"Are you five or something!?" Nitish groaned, exasperated.

"Hehehehehe!"The fairy laughed like she had just won something precious.

Congratulations! You've selected the Swordsman class.Since this is the beta version, you will be sent to Beta Town to begin your journey...

Enjoy your experience.

As soon as the system voice finished speaking, a brilliant light surrounded Nitish. The next moment, he found himself teleporting into an entirely new place…
