Chapter 7 - Just Who is THAT guy?

Nitish found himself once again standing in the login space.

"Woah… I'm really back here," he said to himself, awestruck.

Just then, the tiny fairy reappeared in front of him.

"Oh, it's you again! Nice to see you," she said with a cheerful smile.

"Nice to see you too," Nitish replied with a grin.

"So, tell me… what class will you choose this time? Also, pick a username. And let me know—how closely do you want your character's appearance to match your real self from Earth?"

"Wow… they didn't ask all this during the beta," Nitish said, clearly impressed and excited.

He thought about it for a long time, carefully considering every detail.

In the end, he decided to choose the username Smight.

Yes, Smight might sound strange at first—but it actually means "to cut" or "to strike down."Since Nitish was going to be a swordsman, the name fit perfectly with his class.

For appearance, he set his avatar to look 70% similar to his real-world self. This way, he'd still look handsome—but not so recognizable that people could easily identify him.

"Yes, fairy. I've made all my choices," he confirmed. "And my class will be Swordsman."

"So… shall I lock it in?" she teased, beginning her usual jokes.

"No jokes, Ms. Chutki," Nitish replied with a mock-serious face.

"Alright, alright," the fairy rolled her eyes playfully.

Your journey begins…Welcome to Celestial Domain. You are being transported to: Pink Blossom Town

Nitish reviewed his stats and nodded in satisfaction.

The Swordsman class was a balanced choice—well-rounded in every attribute.Nothing overpowered, but nothing weak either.

As for gear, he only had a basic leather shirt and a novice sword.Everything else he wore was just standard clothing.

But that was okay.

This was just the beginning.

Nitish's sword was of Trash Rank.

In Celestial Domain, all weapons, equipment, and items were classified by their power levels into a ranked system, listed as:

Trash → Common → Bronze → Iron → Mysterious Iron → Silver → Secret Silver → Gold → Dark Gold → Epic → Legendary → Divine → Mythical → God

As Nitish opened his eyes, he found himself standing in the middle of a lively street in a well-developed town.

All around him were bustling crowds—and this time, they were all players.Everyone seemed to be exploring, soaking in the experience of the game world.

There were stunning girls walking by, and several guys trying to convince them to join their hunting parties. In the middle of all this chaos, Nitish stood quietly, observing the scene.

"Hmm... before I call Aaryan, I should take care of something important first," he muttered to himself.

He slipped away from the crowd and entered a quiet, narrow alleyway.

His System Guide had told him about a very specific detail.

In Pink Blossom Town—despite being a beginner's starting zone—there was only one truly valuable quest. And it was a hidden quest.

Even with the guide, it would've been incredibly difficult to find. Without it? Nearly impossible.

As Nitish walked deeper into the alley, a group of beggars suddenly surrounded him.

"Please, kind sir, spare some change for the love of the gods…"

"I haven't eaten in days…"

There were six or seven of them, all looking up at him with hopeful eyes.

"I don't have anything right now," Nitish replied calmly, continuing down the alley.

At the far end, he noticed a man dressed in tattered, filthy clothes, sitting alone.

Nitish looked at him and smiled.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" he asked kindly.

The old man glanced at him, then responded in a slow, tired voice.

"What I need… is not something you can give. Just go."

"Please tell me," Nitish said, still smiling. "I'd really like to help."

"Help?" the man scoffed lightly. "This old man doesn't need food or money…What I want is something else entirely."

"I'm listening," Nitish said. "Please tell me what you need—I'll do my best to complete it."

The old man stared at Nitish for a moment, then gave a faint nod.

"If you're truly willing… and if you manage to complete this task…I promise I'll reward you with something extraordinary."

"My request is simple… I want you to kill the mayor's son of this town. His name is Hamil."

Just like that, Nitish received his first quest.

For any normal player, hearing something like this would have been enough to send them into shock—or worse, into a fit of rage against the old man himself.

But Nitish?

He simply smiled.

"Kill the mayor's son? What do I look like—a psychopath?"

Sure, the mayor of this town wasn't some terrifying overlord… but in the current stage of the game, he was a Level 10 NPC, while Nitish was still Level 0.

And even worse? The mayor's personal guards—those were Level 20 elite NPCs.They could probably kill Nitish with a single swing of their blade.

So attempting this quest at Level 0?

Suicide.

But our boy Nitish?

He simply smiled and looked the old man straight in the eye.

"I promise you, Hamil won't live to see tomorrow's sunrise."

"Thank you, young one," the old man's eyes sparkled with hope.

[Hidden Quest Accepted: A Justifiable Killing]Quest Rank: HardTask: Kill the mayor's son, Hamil

Nitish glanced at the quest notification on his character screen and grinned.Without wasting any time, he started walking toward the Town Hall.

In every town, the Town Hall was the central hub—the office of the mayor. For most players, it served as the main location to receive basic beginner quests.

If Nitish were a regular player, someone new to this world, he would've waited patiently in line and begged the mayor for a low-level fetch quest.

But Nitish wasn't ordinary.

He already knew everything about this town—every quest, every route, every hidden secret.

And he wasn't here to waste time.

Upon arriving near the Town Hall, Nitish noticed a long queue of players waiting outside.

All of them were here to get quests from the mayor.

"This line's insane…" Nitish muttered to himself.

But instead of joining the crowd, he casually walked over to a vegetable stall nearby.

Yes, you heard right.

He went shopping for tomatoes.

"Brother, how much for the tomatoes?" he asked the vendor.

"Two tomatoes for one copper coin, sir. How many would you like?" the cheerful vendor replied.

"Give me ten," Nitish said, handing over five copper coins and stuffing ten tomatoes into his inventory.

You see, just like in the beta version, Nitish had received a starter pack:

10 copper coins, 10 sandwiches, and 10 water bottles.

One sandwich restored 10 HP per second for 10 seconds.

One bottle of water restored 10 MP per second for 10 seconds.

But why the tomatoes?

Nitish simply smiled to himself, tossed the tomatoes into his inventory, and made his way back toward the Town Hall.

As he tried to enter, a guard blocked his path.

"Hey! Can't you see the line? You think you're some hotshot who doesn't need to wait like the rest of us? Get in line," the guard snapped, glaring at him.

"Oh no, sir," Nitish replied coolly. "I'm not here for a quest. Just looking around."

The guard paused, confused, but finally stepped aside."...Alright. Go ahead."

Several players in the queue witnessed the exchange and immediately began whispering.

"Look at him! We're out here dying just to get one quest, and this guy's out here just... exploring?"

"Let the poor guy be. Maybe he's just really excited and checking things out."

"Wait—who even is he?"

Meanwhile, Nitish casually strolled into the mayor's office, stretched his arms, and looked around.

"Ahhh… good morning, Mr. Mayor. How are you today?" he said, flashing a grin.

The old mayor blinked in confusion.Everyone else came to him with nervous hands and desperate eyes, begging for a simple task…

But this boy?He was acting like he owned the place.

The mayor remained silent, but his son—Hamil—didn't take it well.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Hamil shouted. "Get the hell out of here, you idiot!"

Nitish turned slowly, smirked, and said:

"Who the hell are you, mutt? You think you can tell me who to speak to and when?"

A heavy silence fell over the room.

The guards exchanged shocked glances.

The mayor's eyes widened.

Several players standing in the room were already sweating.

Then someone in the crowd finally screamed:

"WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY?!"
