But his questions were answered.
With a steady step forward, Damien lifted his hand, not his staff, not a magic ore, or any alchemy weapon. And with his bare hands, he summoned the flames. Flame curled from his palm as if it were the most natural thing in the world, like breath itself obeyed his will.
The crowd gasped.
"The Bluefire Flameheart Codex!"
Damien roared, voice carrying bitterness and pride.
"The heritage of my family. Flame, not bound to wood or stone, but mastered by flesh!"
