"I'm late, I'm late, I'm so late!"
Nearing the afternoon, Isabelle Kingsley- the secretary for the Crimson General, sprinted through the bustling streets, her papers fluttering from her satchel. She weaved between merchants and townsfolk, narrowly avoiding a collision with a man carrying a basket of groceries.
"Hey!" The man called out, stumbling slightly.
"Sorry about that!" (Isabelle) shouted over her shoulder, almost letting the basket topple as she continued her frantic dash.
The office was in sight now. Her chest heaved, sweat dampening her hair. This was the first time she'd ever been so late. The previous night's celebration had left her exhausted, sleep evading her as she partied longer than intended.
