I raised my broadsword above my head, gripping its handle tightly as I prepared to bring the blade crashing down on Seras. I put my entire body into the swing, bringing the weapon down in a wide arc with enough force to make the air whistle around its massive blade. If that attack landed properly, even someone as strong as her would have to take it seriously, especially considering how much strength I had put behind it.
Unfortunately, Seras had other plans.
She raised her estoc and parried my attack before the blade could reach her. The impact sent a sharp vibration through my arms, and I could feel the force of the collision traveling all the way to my shoulders. Despite the sheer weight behind my swing, she managed to stop it without even taking a step backward.
She hadn't bothered dodging, either, which honestly made the whole thing feel a little insulting.
