Grandfather, despairing of finding the young men, returned to his home village high in the mountains.
He climbed up to his fan hanging between the trees and rested. Soon, he fell asleep.
Inside the hut, the iron dwarf awoke, dancing and singing loudly, filling the room with music.
Startled by the noise, Grandfather rose, shouting,
"They're back!"
He hurried down from the fan and entered the hut. He watched the dwarf dance and sing:
"I've lost my way.
I want to go back to my tavern.
I dance and sing for the monsters.
I sit next to Sula.
I'm tired of sitting in this hut.
My battery is running out.
I want to return to my tavern."
Grandfather sat in front of the dwarf, listening to his song.
He clapped his hands and said,
"You're clever."
Then he asked, "Who are you?"
The dwarf replied,
"I'm the alcohol monster. And you, who are you?"
Grandfather answered,
"I'm the owner of this hut."
The dwarf continued,
"I want to go back to the city, to my friends."
Grandfather asked, "Who are your friends?"
The dwarf replied,
"I remember Sula."
Grandfather: "Who is she?"
Dwarf: "I heard her son is Sayli."
Grandfather: "Do you know where he is?"
The dwarf said,
"My battery is running out."
Grandfather reassured him,
"Don't worry. Rest. I'll recharge your battery in a few hours."
Grandfather carefully placed the dwarf in a box and set off on a journey to the city.
