On his way back, Chang Linsheng noticed a missed call on his cell phone, from his sister-in-law.
He instinctively thought something had happened to Yang Su, so he hurriedly called back. His sister-in-law answered, and Chang Linsheng asked, "What's wrong?"
His sister-in-law replied, "Nothing much, Susu went back to your apartment this afternoon. I couldn't dissuade her, so I sent her back. She's alone at home now, not letting anyone stay with her!"
Chang Linsheng pressed his lips together and nodded, "Okay, I understand. Thank you, sister-in-law!"
He hung up the phone, accelerated, and drove toward home, feeling a warm rush inside, missing a woman named Yang Su, his wife.
Twenty minutes later, Chang Linsheng arrived home, slightly out of breath. Initially intending to open the door with his key, he ended up pressing the doorbell instead.
As the doorbell rang, he quietly waited outside, a faint smile unconsciously forming at the corner of his lips, thinking he looked quite silly.
