Helen Melendy remained expressionless, simply thanked Leanne Richards once more, and then began to eat.
Though she expected Leanne to have some ulterior motives, since Leanne wasn't bringing it up voluntarily, Helen acted as if she was unaware.
Midway through dinner, Leanne spoke up—
"Helen, did Harry mention when he'd be back?"
Helen lifted her head from her bowl, looked at Leanne, and gave a faint smile, saying:
"He didn't say a specific time, should be back in a day or two."
Leanne nodded, then sighed, "I heard things aren't very safe over in New Horse. I'm a bit worried about him."
Speaking of this, Helen also furrowed her brows worriedly.
"A few days ago, Harry's uncle mentioned that while staying in a hotel in New Horse, he almost got robbed."
As Leanne mentioned this, Helen's heart sank, and a sense of unease crept up inside her.
"Don't worry, Mom. Harry is quite capable; he won't be unlucky enough to run into something like that."
