Vera and others also followed Tommy Taylor into the elevator, arriving at the VIP Hall on the 9th floor. Except for Vera, the others were escorted by the staff through the main entrance. Tommy personally led Vera through the side entrance to an upper level, reaching a special rest room.
"Please rest here for a while. I'll come notify you to head downstairs when the time comes."
Vera looked around.
"Where's Kris?!"
"Mr. Cooper is downstairs, attending to guests." Tommy nodded towards the glass window.
Vera turned her gaze.
Outside the window was the luxuriously decorated hall, where the crystal chandeliers shone brilliantly.
From above, everything in the hall was clearly visible. At the entrance, Kris Cooper was smiling and shaking hands with a guest.
It's uncertain whether it was coincidental or he sensed her gaze.
He turned his head, looking towards her on the upper level.
Even from such a distance, and the glass being one-way, you couldn't see inside from downstairs.
