Chapter Two
It was his timely support that kept her from falling.
At that moment, Aurelia realized Kevin Gregory was still in the room; he hadn't left yet.
"You're still here," she asked unconsciously, which filled Kevin's heart with bitterness, leaving him unsure how to respond.
He smiled slightly, without answering.
Aurelia realized that her question was hurtful, so she pressed her lips together in embarrassment and awkwardness, and said, "I was in a hurry to go down, so I didn't notice you much. Let's go down together."
"Let's go."
Kevin bent down and placed her high heels in front of her, "Put them on properly, don't fall. In case I'm not by your side next time."
He said it with a smile, but somehow, it made Aurelia feel a slight sense of melancholy.
If, one day, Kevin wasn't by her side...
What would she do?
She would probably be reluctant to part, right?
But life is like this; it's always about facing separations.
