Chapter Four
He pointed to his cheek, like a big child asking for a reward, with a faint smile on his lips, but his dark eyes were filled with affection and deep love.
He treated every minute spent with her as if it were the last second of his life, cherishing it immensely.
He couldn't bear to lose his temper with her, nor could he bear for her to see all his pain and discomfort.
He just wanted to show her the best side of himself.
Sofia, of course, understood what he meant. She smiled, leaned down, and kissed his face lightly, "Is this okay?"
"Come back early."
"I know. I'll head back soon, make dinner for you, and then come over. You can rest, and I'll be back when you wake up."
"Change your clothes before you come."
"Huh? Why?"
She was taken aback, not understanding why she needed to change clothes.
Ryan's dark eyes hid a teasing smile, still in that mildly rogue tone, "Every part of you belongs to me, can't let other men see."
