Lydia Mitchell looked at Aaron Brown with some unease, fearing Sofia Hamilton would suffer if left alone with him.
Sofia could sense Lydia's concern and smiled, saying, "I'll be fine, you both can leave first."
"Alright then, if anything happens, call someone, okay?" Lydia softly instructed and then pulled Wilson to leave first.
For a while, only Aaron Brown and her remained in the meeting room.
Sofia looked at him, trying to keep her emotions stable, "What do you want to discuss, Mr. Brown."
Calling him Mr. Brown felt so distant.
The way she addressed him made Aaron Brown's heart particularly uncomfortable...
He had a feeling that hearing her call him "Brother Aaron" again in this lifetime seemed impossible.
His chest was full of an aching swell that lingered for a long time.
Aaron Brown furrowed his thick brows, "Why do you have to always oppose me?"
