She sneered and pressed for answers, and Aaron Brown found himself unable to utter a single word.
Perhaps out of guilt, or maybe it was remorse.
Facing her aggressive and mocking eyes, his voice seemed stuck in his throat, unable to produce a single syllable.
Aaron hadn't expected her to know.
He thought this would be a secret forever...
But if she could ask, it meant she might know everything.
Sofia Hamilton smiled sadly, "Don't worry, if I didn't have evidence, I wouldn't be telling you this."
With that, she gave him a sweet smile, deliberately leaning closer as she gritted her teeth and said, "Prepare to face a lawsuit."
Sofia coldly met his eyes, which flashed with panic, before striding out.
She slammed the meeting room door heavily, leaving him standing there alone for a long time.
Aaron felt a chaos in his heart unlike anything he'd ever experienced.
She spoke with such certainty, could she really have evidence?
No, there couldn't be any evidence.
