Chapter 7
It was the next day of school and class was just about to start, Izuku was looking forward to seeing the eclectic man that happened to be their teacher. He was kinda weird and super strict but overall Izuku really liked Aizawa-Sensei.
The man in question entered the room slamming the door behind him with a bang a few moments later. "Quiet down class." There was a pause as the class quieted. "Hmm 7 and a half seconds, good you are improving already. For today's homeroom we will be reviewing the battle training you did with All Might yesterday. The main points i'd like to hit are these as you will be doing hero training later today as well. Bakugo don't get so upset you are not a weak student, you got 1st in the entrance exams after all. Todoroki good control with your Ice as usual but I haven't seen you use your flames once yet, come talk to me after school ends. Tsuyu, Tokoyami, you both just pounded on a metal slab for 8 minutes straight and then gave up without even trying to do something else. That is the literal definition of insanity, next time try other options before giving up, there will be many times as a hero where giving up is simply not an option."
The two heroes in question looked downcast after that.
Aizawa continued "If you weren't happy with your results use this failure to work harder. Now you will be doing something important today. Normally you would be selecting a class president and a vice president but as you know Problem Child over here is already your Class President. It was one of the terms placed on him Principal Nedzu if your wondering. So you will just be selecting a vice president, do it however you want, you got till lunch. If you need me, well don't." The man quickly climbed back into his yellow sleeping bag.
Everyone instantly started raising their hands and screaming pick me, even Bakugo surprisingly, Izuku would have thought that he would hate the idea of being underneath him. Iida was the one broke the chaos by screaming loud enough to overpower everyone else. "We should do this like heroes and decide electorially, the person who is given the most votes deserves the spot clearly."
The ear jack girl spoke next, "Won't everyone just vote for themselves?"
"If they managed to earn the trust of their fellow students by the third day then they more than earned the position." Iida said emphatically.
"Alright we're doing this via election." Izuku said as he took a tissue box from the front and turned it into a makeshift ballot box. "When I walk by drop your vote into this."
After 15 minutes the votes were tallied by Izuku with the final scores being

Bakugo for Class President: 1 (Oh he was trying to impeach me Izuku realized)
Shouji: 1
Todoroki: 1

Wait a minute why are there only 18 votes, Izuku didn't vote for obvious reasons but someone else didn't vote either. "Hey who didn't vote? I only count 18 votes." Izuku said scanning the room, whoever it was apparently didn't want to reveal themselves. "Alright well if you don't want to vote that's fine. It wouldn't have changed who won anyway." Izuku said while shrugging. "Congrats Ms. VP."
Momo was mind blown she hadn't even voted for herself and Izuku didn't vote either, almost half the class wanted to her to be the vice president. "Well I accept wholeheartedly." She said while walking up to the front of the room.
Bakugo's outburst was next. "HOW COME NONE OF YOU FUCKS VOTED FOR ME, AND FUCK NO IS DEKU GOING TO BE PRESIDENT OVER ME."
Honestly Izuku was expecting the boy to lunge at him.
"Wow your kinda an asshole Bakugo you know that?" Said the purple haired girl with jacks for ears.
"THE FUCK YOU SAY TO ME EXTRA?" Bakugo screamed at her.
This time Kaminari stepped in "Yeah that, that right there dude. We've known you for like 3 days and even we can tell your personality is steeped in a pile of dog shit."
"ENOUGH!" Aizawa jumped from his sleeping bag quirk flaring. "If you've decided already, remain quiet and study your notes until the bell rings."
No more words were spoken until the bell. "Aizawa-Sensei is it okay if I do something before everyone leaves? It's kind of important so I can use my quirk on the class safely."
Aizawa just sighed "What is it problem child?"
"I just wanted to check who I could give an extra quirk to safely, If I try to give one to someone who can't it could cause permanent damage."
Of course it could Aizawa thought even more issues with the child, he just nodded at Izuku.
Izuku taking that as confirmation walked over to the door leading out of the room. "Alright everyone! Just give me a handshake on the way out so I can check my if I can safely give you an extra quirk. It could be quite beneficial to know down the line." Everyone did as they were told and lined up to leave the room.
The first was Iida " Yeah Iida you can handle one more but I won't risk giving someone three quirks. It's too risky."
The rest of the line went as such

Bakugo (begrudgingly let Izuku touch him once Aizawa told him to do it): Yes
Todoroki: No, Izuku wondered if it was because he basically already had two quirks?
Shinsou: Yes
Koda: Yes
Shoji: Yes
Momo: No, but that was to be expected after what happened with All Might.
Ashido: Yes
Sero: Yes
Uraraka: No
Sato: Yes
Aoyama: Yes
Tokoyami: No
Kaminari: Yes? Kinda? He probably shouldn't risk this one.
Ojiro: Yes
Jiro: Yes
Tsuyu: No
Kirishima: Yes
He handed the sheet of paper to Aizawa, Roughly more than half the class could receive a quirk from Izuku, that was about what he was expecting if he were being honest.
"Anything else Problem Child?"
"No thank you Aizawa-Sensei, unless you want to know if you can handle another quirk?"
Aizawa just shrugged.
When Izuku went out to shake his hands, he found that familiar emptiness. "Yes Aizawa -Sensei you can." and with that Izuku walked out the door only to find Momo waiting to ambush him.
"Hey Ms. Prez." He said as he winked at her.
"Nooo stop. You're not allowed to wink." She started blushing, she was definitely not used to him teasing her.
"I would've voted for you by the way. Looks like I didn't need to though as they made an excellen-
An alarm started blaring right at that moment. They had no idea what it meant until Aizawa burst out the door behind them. "You two go find the other students in the lunch hall and bring them back to the class. That alarm means there is an intruder in the building. Your quirks are allowed, go!" With that Aizawa sprinted off down the hallway in the opposite direction of the lunchroom.
Upon hearing quirks were authorized Immediately started Jetstreaming down the hall. He reached the cafeteria in record time just to find the rest of the student body were stampeding down the hall toward Izuku reached deep and pulled as much of Jetstream as he could pushed the crowd back. Izuku took a deep breath and then roared, hoping to channel the fear his father was capable of. "CALM DOWN ARE YOU NOT STUDENT'S OF UA?" After a moment the stampede below stopped. Izuku returned to his normal voice and just shouted as loudly as he could. "Return to class immediately the lot of you and in an orderly fashion this time!"
15 minutes later back in the Classroom.
"All accounted for Aizawa-Sensei." Izuku said to the teacher.
"This is why I hate the media." Aizawa said as he facepalmed. "Just go back to lunch it will be extended by thirty minutes to compensate for lost time.
The second lunch was not nearly as eventful as the first.
When it came time for hero training after lunch they found that All Might was teaching it again. He strode into the room with his usual bravado.
"Hello students! After that brief interruption we had earlier, it has been decided that the training we had for today will be pushed back to tomorrow and the training for tomorrow pushed to today due to time constraints. Grab your costumes and follow me to GROUND GAMMAAAA!"
Izuku hadn't had much time to explore this place yet but Ground Gamma was incredible. A veritable maze of pipes and factories. I wonder what we'll be doing here today.
"TODAY CLASS we will be working on stealth operations. Fights can be decided in an instant if you can get the drop on your target and vice versa. There will be 15 Heroes and 5 Villains. There are two ways to win for each side. The Heroes can win by either catching all of the Villains or by finding and securing the villains intel which will be held by one of the Villains and it will look like THIS!" All Might said as he held up a briefcase. "The Villains can win by either catching all the Heroes or if the Villain with the briefcase manages to escape the city within the time limit."
All Might pulled out another script. "The plot is as follows, the Heroes have received a tip about a Villain meetup where they plan to hand off data containing the location of a large cash of drugs and weapons. Unfortunately for the Heroes, the Villains at the meeting were tipped off just as the Heroes were about to deploy. The Villains will have 30 minutes to escape via the exit gate to my left or the police will arrive and encircle the area effectively cutting off the escape route. Any questions?"
Kaminari raised his hand. "Isn't it almost impossible for the Villains to win here All Might?"
"Not at all young Kaminari, Ground Gamma is a maze in of itself, trying to find and locate one individual person will not be an easy task. Hence the stealth part of this training."
There were no more questions after that.
"Good, Now Midoriya, Bakugo, Jirou, Ashido and Hagakure. You will be the Villain team please head to location shown on the map. The rest of you are the Heroes. Once everyone is in position we will begin!
After they had arrived at the designated spot.
Izuku spoke up." Okay so I think I figured out why we are a team. Hagakure and I can specialize in stealth, Jirou and I can specialize in long ranged detection, Ashido can quietly walk through walls by melting them and I think Bakugo was meant to be a weakness and I don't mean that as an insult. Explosions aren't exactly quiet."
"FUCK YOU DEKU, SAY THAT SHIT TO MY FACE." Bakugo not liking being told he was a weakness.
Jirou chimed in next. "Please don't shout Bakugo we don't need to let them know where we are."
Well Izuku hated that he had to do this. "Bakugo I'm only letting you borrow this until the end of the exam."
"What the fuck you mean borro- and Izuku slapped him on the arm.
"Try it out, it completely silences out any noise. However the more noise it cancels the faster you will feel the effects of overuse, which is temporary deafness. Use this when you absolutely need to make an explosion and it should negate some of the problems were gonna have."
"I DON'T WANT THIS SHIT TAKE IT BACK." Bakugo screaming the whole time.
"Shut up Bakugo." Again Jirou trying to silence him
"Let's get back on track, hagakure do you have any ideas?" Ashidos turn to try and help sort out this mess.
"Um I don't know honestly. I wish I could just turn the briefcase invisible." She pouted as she said that.
"Deku take this shitty fucking quirk back." Bakugo was still irate about having a quirk forced onto him.
"Your keeping it until this is over Kacchan. No but seriously were wasting time. Alright I think the best way to do this is to obviously escape with the briefcase because 5v15s are not especially good odds but they will definitely leave a guard for the gate. I think our best bet is to have one to two people cause a distraction to buy the person with the briefcase time to get to the gate. I think either me or Hagakure should be the briefcase carrier but I can make for a better distraction so let's give Hagakure the case."
Izuku paused for a moment before continuing with his plan. "With all that in mind here's what we're gonna do, Bakugo I know you want to rampage and that's just what you'll do, get in take someone out disappear. Hit and run tactics be loud to bring them in then silent to take them out. They are going to assume I have the briefcase so I'm going to pretend to get 'caught' and then raise hell. With the distractions we cause you three are going to take the case to the gate. Ashido you make a path, Jirou you make sure theres no one on said path and then once you guys get near the gate Hagakure split off and move to the opposite side of the gate. At that point Jirou and Ashido reveals yourselves and distract them. Then Hagakure gets us the win. This takes all our best strengths into account and I think it's pretty decent. Anyone got any suggestions?"
"Yeah fuck off Deku I ain't doing shit you say." Bakugo just scoffed at him.
"Bakugo I literally made the plan so you can go fuck off and have fun blasting people, which you are going to do anyway. So your input really doesn't matter, like at all. As for the 3 people whose opinions I care about?"
"Let's do it Midori!" Ashido shouted.
Jirou nodded before saying "Sure thing green."
Hagakure just let out a whoop.
"Alright then Operation Gatewatch is a go."
Meanwhile on the opposing team
Momo was wracking her head as how to best coordinate 15 different people. Oh duh.
"Hey everyone I think we should split into 3 different groups each with a squad leader. This will keep coms a lot clearer as we can stay with our squads chat. Only use the main chat when you find one of the targets. Speaking of which Izuku will almost definitely be the one with the briefcase, he has quirks that both silence him and let him almost fly. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes Hagakure's quirk and just flies straight at us. (This same plan had in fact occurred to Izuku but he couldn't just win the whole thing by himself. The others needed training too.) So we have to be very careful until we spot Izuku. He is more dangerous than the other 4 combined, hell I'm pretty sure All Might put him on the Villain team just so he doesn't single handedly win by using UltraSight to identify all the villains locations like he did with the battle training."
Todoroki looked a little miffed that Momo clearly viewed Izuku as better than him but he let it slide. Midoriya is strong after all.
Uraraka spoke next. "So how do we wanna split teams up? I was thinking by skill type. Like all the speedy people together, they can be our strike team for example."
"That is a very sound plan, we could have the next team be defense and the last team be our scouts." Iida said as he robotically threw his hand up and down.
Momo started mumbling, the rest of the class found it very familiar. "Okay so the scouts we have are koda who can use birds to get an aerial view, Shoji with his extreme hearing, Uraraka can float herself up to get additional aerial views and lastly I can use creation to make them all magnifying goggles. The strike team will be Tsuyu as her vertical mobility is very useful, Iida for obvious reasons, Sero as he can swing around, Tokoyami as per the same reason as Sero, and finally Ojiro's tail can be used to move quickly throughout here. Everyone else should remain on defense after all we win when the time runs out and they must come to us."
The other 14 students just stared dumbfounded, all wondering if Izuku gave it to her or she gave it to Izuku.
"Okay I got the teams." She laid out her team formations and reasons for each to the class who all sat there nodding along. The only dissenter was Todoroki who just ran off saying he would defeat Midoriya by himself.

All Might's voice came booming over the comm channel. "Alright let the operation commence!"
Cutting back to the Villain team Bakugo predictably just blasted off shouting expletives as he went.
"Alright so far it's going to plan." Izuku chuckled. "I just hope he uses the damn thing."
Anyway I'm going to head straight down the middle side making it look like I'm making a break for the gate. 'Fail' and 'retreat' and do my best to make some of them follow me. You guys cut left since Bakugo went right. Good luck." Izuku said before blasting off.
What Izuku wasn't expecting was to already find Todoroki waiting for him about halfway between where he started and the gate. He landed on a pipe and started looking down at the boy.
"Huh well that was unexpected, I guess I should have led with a Tempo Zoomed Dark Vision. Heya todoroki, how ya doing?" At the very least he would be getting a strong quirk out of this.
Todoroki didn't respond at least not verbally, he instead chose to unleash a massive glacier towards Izuku, like this thing was taller than the buildings and pipes surrounding him. Izuku barely managed to respond thanks to Tempoing then Jetstreaming to the side. Izuku followed that by rushing at the boy, he had 3 seconds of Tempo left, and he couldn't let Todoroki unleash another one of those while it was on cooldown. As he got closer he noticed Todoroki was shivering. Quirk overuse? Was the thing he just used his limit? 2 seconds left.
Todoroki had done it, he had defeated Izuku but then he saw the boy in question jet to the right of his glacier and charge straight at him. Shit that was near my limit, I likely only have 1 or 2 small ones left. His father's voice echoed in his ear "Embrace yourself Shoto, use your fire." NO NEVER, he refuses to lose to his left, to fire. He raises his arm weakly to let off one more blast of ice, but to his amazement the boy in front of him twists around his arm at a superhuman speed before seeing black.
Thankfully a punch with the force of a person moving at 80 miles per hour and super strength hurts like a bitch, honestly maybe I should go easier on people. That could've killed him. He took the quirk then reheated the boys body. He wasn't sure how bad the frostbite was but he didn't want Todoroki hurting himself.
Izuku stepped away from the unconscious boy before activating hot and cold, wow this feels incredible. I should ask Todoroki to let me borrow this more, normally Izuku wouldn't be more proficient than the quirk owner due to his own body not having the resistances to the quirk he stole but that didn't matter here. This quirk literally negated its own weaknesses, why didn't Todoroki use the fire ever? Ah well questions for the future.
Izuku hadn't planned on getting this quirk so quickly but with this quirk he already had a new plan forming in his head. Izuku activated Dark Vision and Zoom but without the aid of Tempo since he didn't want to overuse Tempo he was straining his eyes but holding it for only a second, a quick snapshot should be fine. No worries I confirmed that the vast majority of the Hero team is at the gate.
"Hey guys new plan, I got Todoroki's quirk, I'm going to go unleash hell on the people defending the gate. That should draw pretty much everyone onto me. All 3 of you run to the wall running alongside the exit gate then have Ashido melt it and go through. They never said which way we had to go through the gate with the briefcase." He smirked thinking it was pretty smart.
Jirou was the one who replied. "Got It Green raise hell for us.
"Also Bakugo you can join me at the gate if you want they will all undoubtedly be coming for me and how does a 2v9 sound to you?" Izuku ready for the incoming swearing.
"Fuck you Deku, I'm busy with these extras." Busy?
"Who do you have with you Bakugo? The boy asked
"Why the fuck would I know these extras names." That was the most Bakugo answer he had ever heard, wait did he just say that he wasn't an extra? WAS THAT A FUCKING COMPLIMENT?
Might as well get a Villain persona going. Gotta enjoy the little things in life after all. Izuku charged the rest of the distance to the gate but when he got closer. He stepped back and pulled at every quirk that would make him more intimidating. He rose into the sky breathing fire while he was enveloped in Ice and Fire, summoning massive blasts of air with jetstream. This felt good he wasn't going to lie.
"FOOLISH HEROES, YOU THINK YOU HAVE US TRAPPED IN HERE? IN REALITY IT IS YOU WHO ARE TRAPPED IN HERE WITH US." Izuku stated while cackling flames into the air.
Back in the viewing room
Toshinori was watching this unfold in abject terror, this was what a fully realized All for One looks like. He still had nightmares from the old one, please don't become a villain please don't become a villain please don't become a villain, Toshinori started chanting to himself.
Back to the Heroes
Everyone who was here just turned to look at Momo. The first word spoken over coms was by Uraraka who was floating nearby "Are we allowed to surrender?"
It was a shared sentiment if Momo were being honest with herself. "Well he got Todoroki's quirk so it's safe to assume he's down. Alright Kaminari we're definitely going to need you here electricity is one of the few things he's not immune too."
Izuku made the first move summoning the massive glacier that Todoroki did earlier, instantly freezing Shinsou, Kirishima and Sato. "Is this really the best you heroes can do? One attack and I've defeated three of you. A pity really."
Momo didn't have time to hesitate anymore she just started firing blindly at Izuku with the tranq gun she made. Except he was madly dodging all of them with Jetstream and other times he didn't dodge they just burnt away from the extreme heat Izuku was radiating. This was a scene from a nightmare she's pretty certain. Once she realized the ineffectiveness of the original bullets she started making more but with flame resistant material this time.
Aoyama finally got over how terrified he was and started firing his stomach laser. The unexpectedness of it actually managed to get a clean hit in on Izuku knocking him to the ground. "Do you not see how I sparkle." He said striking a pose
Momo just stared not believing Aoyama was the one out of all of them to defeat Izuku but much to her chagrin of course that wasn't enough to take her boyfriend down. It was at this point that she realized Izuku wasn't actually trying to take them down, he could have ended this from the very beginning if he wanted to. So what was he wai-
All Might's voice suddenly cut in "The intel has escaped VILLAIN TEAM WINS! Return to the viewing room everyone."
Momo whipped around to see Hagakure, Ashido, and Jirou walking out of the city with the briefcase. Had they just walked into the city from the outside and then walked back out? Does that even count?
She turned back around again but this time to examine the carnage Izuku had brought with him. If Todoroki was capable of this why didn't he do it? Pipes were broken, singed, melted, frozen solid, not to mention her poor teammates who were currently popsicles.
"Fucking DEKU! I HADN'T GOTTEN TO KILL ANYONE YET!" Bakugo screeching as loud as he could over the mic.
Izuku's ears were beginning to hurt. I better go thaw out everyone he thought. The terrified looks of the people he saved made him think he may have gone overboard here. He just sheepishly looked down "Sorry."
Momo saw this and she wanted to lighten the mood. "So what is our next overlord of darkness gonna be called." She jabbed him the shoulder then started laughing. Which thankfully brought a smile to Izuku's face.
"Haven't decided yet but I should thought of one before I attacked you all. How does Hell Freeze sound?"
"Terrifying Izuku, absolutely terrifying. May you reign in frozen terror forever." She couldn't help it and just started laughing. At least everyone else looks less scared now.
Back in the viewing room, Izuku found a recovered Todoroki staring coldly at him. "Hey it was a good attempt Todoroki, It's only the 3rd day you'll get better I promise and oh here's your quirk. Though I do gotta ask why don't you use the fire? It made me so much stronger."
Todoroki balked at that. He used the fire half of his quirk, he used that bastard's fire. This boy would have already have become his dad's legacy if he had my quirk he realized. "None of your business I'm not here to make friends." and with that Todoroki retreated to the other side of the room.
Bakugo was screaming as per usual. "DEKU TAKE YOUR FUCKING DUMB ASS QUIRK BACK AND NEXT TIME IF YOUR GONNA FORCE ONE DOWN MY THROAT IT BETTER BE A COOL ONE, NONE OF THIS STEALTH BULLSHIT."
Did he just admit he would be fine getting a quirk from me? After complimenting me earlier? Either this is some weird fever dream or maybe Bakugo is finally turning around. He must have needed the quirk or something and noticed how useful it was. Still though he couldn't let the insult to his quirk stand.
"Not my fault you were too slow Bakugo and I'm not even the one who ended it. Hagakure, Ashido and Jirou did, by the way great job guys." Izuku gave them a thumbs up, while simultaneously taking Silence back.
All Might began playing the footage of Izuku's rampage and when it was finished, he wasn't quite sure how to articulate the things he just saw. "So it would seem the purpose of stealth training got lost in there somewhere. Alright so I'll ask who was the mvp and why was it young Midoriya." All Might added a laugh there to try and help
Seeing his rampage from the third person was certainly an interesting experience. He's gonna have to remember to tone it down in the future.
Todoroki was furious, that fire was never meant to be used and now the whole class has seen it on display. Shouto was already having to talk to Aizawa after this class about his quirk, the fact that there is actual proof he's making himself weaker now does not help.
The first to speak up was Kaminari "I think it might have been the part where he turned half of my team into popsicles."
"Not exactly young Kaminari, while that did contribute. Young Midoriya was not actually the one who won the exercise, that would be those three."
Jirou was the one who raised her hand next. "I think green was mvp because he tried to include all of us and not just win the thing by himself, he came up with multiple solid plans that all relied on his team to win and i'll be honest I really don't think he needed us there to win." She felt ashamed that she was basically useless during that whole thing.
Izuku saw that and it hurt him. "Jirou don't say that you were an intricate part of my original plan. I wasn't expecting to get Todoroki's quirk right off the bat, and even when I did your super hearing made sure that no one snuck up on you guys." He tried to cheer her up, it didn't work very well.
"Very well if you feel you did not contribute enough continue to work at it until you do. PLUS ULTRA!" The man sped off incredibly fast after that.
In Aizawa's office
"Alright so I want you to honestly tell me why you won't use your fire Todoroki. I don't like it when my students purposefully hold back, especially after what I saw you were capable of today." The man was not glaring per say but it was pretty close.
Todoroki just looked at man for a minute, if he told his teacher the police would get involved and he couldn't have that, but how could lie about it. There is no good reason other than the truth.
"I can't tell you Sensei. It's a personal matter." The boy trying to avoid looking at the man directly, he knew Midoriya using it was going to make this harder.
Aizawa's glare changed into something much softer. "Todoroki, you can talk to me about anything. I won't push because clearly something is bothering you but remember I will not hesitate to expel you if you keep this up. Your not even trying to reach your full potential right now, you only want to reach half of it and one day it could cost lives. Dismissed."
After he left Aizawa noticed how the boy tensed up at his first question. Probably some kind of trauma, I'll need to look into that.
Chapter 8
It was Friday now, Izuku had just let Iida herd everyone onto the bus so they could get to wherever it was they were supposed to be doing rescue training but honestly Izuku didn't care all that much he just sat on the bus and stared out the window. He thought back to the 'Stealth' training and whatever the situation with Todoroki currently was. He wanted to help the boy but he had no idea how to. He knew something was up after all he had referred to the fire as somebody else's not his own, which Izuku took to mean as him saying it was his dad's fire. Had something happened between the two to make him resent his quirk? Hell my Dad used use fire to melt people, beat my mother and almost kill me. Todoroki better have a damn good excuse whenever I get the chance to talk to him about it. If Izuku can use the quirks of exclusively Villains to fix the world than Todoroki could do the same with the quirk of whatever Endeavour was.
Returning to the conversation on the bus.
Izuku looked over to Momo sitting beside him, she had apparently been trying to get his attention for awhile. Tsu had apparently said something to him. "Sorry Tsu I was just thinking what's up?"
"Well I usually say it how I see it and after that training session we had. Your quirk would make for a really good Villains quirk." Tsu said.
Izuku heard Bakugo snicker behind him while muttering something like called it.
"Tsu I get where you're coming but please that's a sensitive issue for a lot of people. All it takes is one bad person with a quirk doing bad things with them and suddenly every quirk is bad. In addition to that I wasn't even using my own quirk it was Todoroki's, is he a villain now?" Izuku had already explained this all to them before but he knew that people were slow to change their past prejudices and with what he had done it wasn't exactly helping his case.
Kaminari surprisingly came to back him up. "Yeah shit stains quirk over there literally only blows things up. That could be called the quirk of a terrorist, but look where he is. Despite his attitude."
Izuku just stared wide eyed at the electricity boy, was he being defended? And did he just insult Bakugo? Is he trying to die.
"THE FUCK YOU SAY PHONE CHARGER? WANNA GO?" Bakugo screaming at the person who had managed to insult him, his quirk, and his attitude all in one sentence.
Tsu pondered for a moment before answering. "Kero, I guess you're right. Sorry Midoriya, sorry Bakugo."
Izuku was just glad the matter was settled before it got even more out of hand.
Aizawa was glad his class could settle things on their own. Hopefully it would help fix whatever was going on with Todoroki. He finally spoke. "Get ready to get out were almost there."
Once they had filed out of the bus Izuku immediately noticed the giant dome shaped building and equally large pair of double doors connecting to it. Once they managed to open the doors and enter into the building Izuku was granted the sight of another pro hero, one who was wearing what looked to be a spacesuit? He was surprised he didn't know who this hero was. A common theme at U.A. it seems.
Surprising everyone in the room it was Uraraka and not Midoriya freaking out at the sight of a hero. "Oh my gosh that's Pro Hero Thirteen she's my absolute favourite. She helped inspire me to be a rescue hero."
Huh so that's what he looks like Izuku pondered.
Izuku saw Aizawa walk over and whisper something about All Might between the two of the pro heroes, to which Thirteen responded by holding up three fingers. Both Izuku and Momo looked at each other understanding the message. Realizing that All Might had used up all of his time for the day, Izuku did remember seeing a news article for today claiming All Might had stopped 3 separate crimes by himself.
"Yes I am the rescue hero Thirteen and welcome to my Unforeseen Simulation Joint or USJ for short. I have a point or two or six really I would like to discuss with you all." Thirteen said introducing herself.
That's a lot of points Izuku deadpanned.
"While our quirks are special to us and can be used to help they are also potentially lethal weapons. My quirk Black Hole creates a gap in space that eats everything around it, imagine how easily myself or a Villain could kill people with this quirk. I'm sure many of you have a similar issue with your quirks. With Aizawa you learned the limits of your quirks. With All Might you learned how to use them against other people as well as the risks of doing so. With me you'll learn how to use your quirks to save lives. That is what I want you to take away from today's training." Thirteen bowing as she finished.
Wow She's really good at speeches Izuku realized, he turned to Uraraka who was bright eyed and positively beaming. Izuku could see why she had such respect for this hero.
It was then that Aizawa turned around suddenly staring at the fountain in the middle of the courtyard. Izuku as well as a few other students noticed the mans strange movements.
Izuku decided to zoom in on the spot he thought Aizawa was staring at. Was that Thirteens quirk? It kinda looked like her black hole quirk, Izuku for the first time in quite a while turned on Radiation Vision. What the, what is that? It glowed purple and seemed to be spreading outwards quickly.
He deactivated Radiation when Tempo ended to save his eyesight but when he did he noticed the purple mist expanding further allowing a group of people to walk out. A figure with hands? All over his body was first, following by some weird thing with an exposed brain and a beak AND WAIT WHAT IT HAS FOUR QUIRKS? Why are the strings all jagged and crooked like they'd been ripped in half? What the hell happened to that thing?
"Huh Sensei has the training already started?" Kirishima said from behind Izuku.
"No get back those are real villains, Thirteen get the students out of here i'll handle this."
Kaminari cut in. "Sensei I can't contact the school I think communications are down."
"Keep trying Kaminari maybe once you get outside you will be able too." Aizawa said as he prepared to jump down but his hand was caught before he could.
"Sensei you'll need this more than me but if you need backup please authorize me to help I do have a provisional license after all." Izuku said smiling at the man while handing him Super Strength.
"Heh, Problem Child what kind of pro is a one trick pony. Even if your a little bit special don't worry it's a teachers job to protect their students." Aizawa just smuggly looked at him before bounding down the stairs.
Hopefully that will be enough Izuku thought before turning around and then he saw that same purple mist from before appear between the class and the exit, but then even stranger it started speaking. "I hope you do not mind but we, The League of Villains have invited ourselves in here today to end the Symbol of Peace once and for all." Izuku shuddered at how easy they made it sound. "Might I ask where he is at? Has the schedule changed? Ah well it matters not, my job to scatter you all has not chang-".
The Villain was interrupted by Kirishima and Bakugo charging in at the mist man's body explosions flaring and steel sharpened skin stabbing at the figure. Izuku was hopeful at first but then the mist just reformed seemingly haven taken no damage whatsoever.
"Ah that was close, I forgot that while children you are still the golden eggs of Hero society. I must not underestimate you." The purple mist man said.
However right before he could move Thirteen unleashed her Black Hole upon him and it looked like it was working, that is until what Izuku thought was a smirk appeared upon the mist. "Ah yes Thirteen, you may have a powerful quirk but you have next to no battle experience." Izuku looked on in horror as a portal appeared behind Thirteen disintegrating her with her own quirk.
Izuku just barely managed to hit Thirteen with Jetstream knocking her out of the way before her own quirk could finish her off, it might not have stopped her from being injured but it was better than nothing. Izuku turned to face the mist man, deciding that now the best course of action would be to buy time so Izuku spoke. "Someone important as yourself surely must have a name? After all if we take you down here what's the exit strategy exactly?"
The mist just stared into the boy. "The League of Villains needs no exit strategy but if you must know my name is Kurogiri. Now SUFFER!" With that entire area surrounding the man was beginning to be covered by his mist before being tossed into the crowd of students. Izuku didn't hesitate before Tempoing and throwing himself at Momo but it seemed the girl had her own intentions and began moving out of Izuku's path. Shit just because he could react faster doesn't mean he could change his path on a dime, and instead of his intended target Izuku rammed into Bakugo both being sent into the mist.
Meanwhile at the plaza.
Aizawa had just erased the quirk of someone who appeared to have guns for hands, he saw the familiar look of shock going across his face as his quirk failed to activate. Aizawa threw out his capture tape accidentally snapping the neck of the man before him when he tried to pull with his capture tape. Leave it to the Problem Child to make me accidentally kill a man, ah well it wasn't like he hadn't before, after all being an underground hero isn't exactly a life full of rainbows and sunshines. Aizawa was allowed to use lethal force if he deemed it necessary and If he had to kill to protect his students then he would do so.
Aizawa turned just in time to notice a large boulder of a man about to barrel down upon him but Aizawa feeling the raw strength coursing through him merely knocked the man's hand aside before punching the man as hard as he physically could in the chest. The boulder like man crumbled almost instantly. The villains around Eraserhead had fear in his eyes, this was his element. Striking fear into Villains into the late hours of the night. He supposed he would have to thank Problem Child later, he would most certainly be in trouble if not for the extra quirk. Whelp time to end this red eyes started glowing as his hair began to float. He charged into the villains either knocking the next two out or murdering them instantly. Two down Seventy to go Aizawa mused.
Back to Izuku
The last thing Izuku remembered before the black void he currently found himself in was the roaring screams of his childhood friend as Izuku accidentally ran into him and then falling, the abyss didn't last long before it was replaced with red. Izuku realized it was fire shortly after but thanks to Fire Resistance he had no issues. He was just about to slam into the ground before he righted himself with Jetstream, he noticed Bakugo to his side doing something similar using his Explosions to land. It seems they had been warped to the fire zone of the USJ. He quickly looked around trying to find if anybody else had landed with them but found no one. It was just him and Bakugo it unfortunately seemed.
Oh boy did they fuck up putting Izuku here.
"Shitty Deku why did you run into me like that. I WAS GOING TO KILL THAT WARP BASTARD BEFORE YOU HIT ME." Bakugo shouting at him no doubt attracting whatever they had been warped here for.
Izuku just slapped him on the arm. "You wanted a fun quirk right? Well guess what pyrokinesis does Bakugo."
Izuku watched the expression on the boy go from shock to confusion to manic glee. "Once your done here bring as much fire as you can to the fountain area of the USJ. Consider this an olive branch Kacchan." Izuku realized this was the first time he had unironically said the boy's name in forever.
"THIS DOESN'T FIX SHIT DEKU AND YOU BETTER FUCKING BELIEVE I'M GOING TO ANNIHILATE EVERYONE IN THIS SHITTY BUILDING." Izuku just watched a large tornado of flames and explosions gleefully run off to crush everything in sight. Izuku briefly wondered if Bakugo could hold the fire that was briefly made by Explosion so Pyrokinesis had an infinite source of fire. Ah well questions for the future I guess and Bakugo excelled at combat if he could Bakugo had probably already figured it out.
Alright with this area taken care of Izuku needed to get back to everyone else. No doubt if they planned to kill All Might they had something up their sleeve, now let's go save our teacher Izuku. Mentally pumping himself up before exiting the area the last thing he heard before he left the fire zone was the manic screams of Villains and a familiar voice screaming die at the top of their lungs. Izuku was pretty sure he pitied the Villains at this point.
Chapter 9
Meanwhile with Todoroki
As soon as Todoroki landed he let out a large wave of ice in the area around him instantly freezing the villains that were trying to surround him. Despite being warped here against his will at least he got a good view of the rest of the USJ from here.
Alright time to find out what the villains are up too. He approached the first villain who kinda looked like a mole and then proceeded to punch him as hard as he could in the face, knocking the guy out cold.
The villains shook seeing that. "See that's what happens if you don't answer my questions and while I am a hero it would really be a shame if I forgot to unfreeze you and your cells started to die, followed swiftly by you. Now, tell me how you plan to kill All Might."
The Villain next to the mole faced guy had never spoken so fast in his life. "The hands guy he has a weapon, he called it a Nomu. Said it was bioengineered to kill All Might. That's all I know I swear! They just promised us fame fortune and wealth if we helped kill All Might."
True to his word Todoroki unfroze them just a little so they wouldn't die but not enough so that they could escape. "Thanks I can't let you go obviously but at least you won't die right?" Todoroki started running towards the fountain area seeing his teacher fight off like 50 Villains by himself. He then noticed however that the area was littered in bodies, his teacher could get the job done it seemed.
Momo felt the black void finally recede as she landed harshly, she was going to feel that tomorrow. She looked around first noticing that they were in the urban zone and second she saw Tokoyami land next to her. His landing had been much more graceful since he used Dark Shadow to catch himself before hitting the ground.
"Hey Tokoyami did you see anyone else from our class on your way down?" She said throwing a tranquilizer to the bird making an additional for herself.
"I did not Vice President, however it seems we have company ." He gestured behind himself.
"It seems that we do. Wanna make it a competition Tokoyami?" She smirked charging up 6% of One for All in her legs.
"Truly a mad Banquet of darkness." The boy said was laughing evilly.
They cleared rooms with surgical precision using breach and clear tactics with Dark Shadow as the scout. Turns out in the age of quirks people forgot just how useful having a gun was.
Izuku had finally gotten the fountain from earlier within view and Zoomed in, thank god Aizawa-Sensei was still alright. The man was making short work out of all the villains. Still though he should really go help the man, the thing with 4 quirks worries me. A thought flashed through his head, 4 quirks was HE involved? OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT, I can't let them find out about my quirk if All for One was actually involved, but All Might said he killed him. Then again a quirk to fake ones death maybe?
Alright let's just limit myself to Jetstream and mental quirks to be safe, without Pyrokinesis Fire breathing wasn't that useful anyway. Izuku blasted off toward the man but as he got close he noticed or rather heard the handy man say "Nomu, get him."
Within a second the creature was upon his teacher thankfully Aizawa was able to hold the creature back for a bit due to a combination of Super Strength and Erasing the creatures quirks. He heard the handyman shout something about how Eraserhead was cheating.
But then Aizawa blinked and began to crumble under the beast's might. No no no c'mon move faster Izuku time for Plus Ultra.
Izuku screamed at the top of his lungs pushing everything he had into Jetstream in an attempt to knock the beast away. A miniature hurricanes worth of wind was being pumped from Izuku and without Super Strength he was barely able to keep himself from being blown backwards but the beast in front of him didn't even budge. Aizawa didn't even look at Izuku but was still shouting at him to run away.
Ah FUCK this isn't working, damn it I need to stop this thing. Thankfully he did have a plan but Izuku was going to have to be quick Aizawa wasn't going to hold on much longer. Hoping the man would at least keep the beast distracted long enough for him. Izuku charged in jumping onto the back of the creature slamming his hand down over the brain of the Nomu and then everything went black.
This was wrong, so very wrong. He could hear screaming feel the pain this creature was in. It was like being pulled in every direction at once, he felt his mind splitting under the intense pressure before a horrifying unearthly voice rang out through the abyss.

Nothing other than a swift death would free this creature. Izuku understood what he had to do now, he would save this thing from its suffering. His vision returned and and he rammed his hand into the brain of the creature and pulled as hard as he could ripping the brain from the stem. He hoped that would be enough to put this out of commission. The creature slumped over and collapsed into a pile.
Izuku was silently cheering inside his head but then of course the beast's brain was starting to grow back FUCK FUCK FUCK, that's it I don't care who finds out, this thing is to dangerous I'm taking it's quirks. He put his hand on the creature before it could get up and pulled as hard as he could but to his surprise the shredded strings that were this things quirks wouldn't even budge, this was worse than when he tried to take One For All. He felt like he had a chance there but this is like lifting a rock. FUCK It's gonna get up in a second or two, he turned to Eraserhead before shouting "Aizawa we gotta run we can't take this thing!"
"Kid you need to be the one to run I'll hold it off. My arm's already messed up anyway, take it back and run problem child!" Aizawa shouted that while holding his hand out. The creature on the other hand started wobbling before it finally stood. Izuku finally noticed the injury on his teachers arm, it looked ashy? Decayed? What the fuck did that. To both of their surprise though the creature didn't begin to attack them again.
They just heard slow clapping begin they turned and noticed it was coming from Handsy. "You two are really cool you know that. Eraserhead you took out like 80 people single handedly and even held off against my Nomu and you kid ripped its fucking brain out. That was like a finishing move from Immortal Combat." The clapping stopped. "But you can't beat my nomu, it was created to fight All Might and you two are just side bosses at best." It was at that moment that the mist man appeared next to handsy. "Ah Kurogiri, how did it go. Did you take care of Thirteen?"
"Thirteen is down Shigaraki but I am unsure as to whether or not they have perished, however a child managed to escape. Pro heroes are likely on their way here already." The warp gate replied.
The handsy man err Shigaraki just started raking his hands against his neck, scratching violently before grabbing the unconscious body of one of the other Villains decaying them instantly. "Ahhh that's better, Your lucky you're our warp gate Kurogiri or that would've been you. Ah well we can't win against a full squad of pro heroes, I guess that's game over. But before we go let's crush his pride a bit" he lunged at Izuku the second he said that.
Meanwhile Izuku was having an epiphany, they could win this all he had to do was touch Shigaraki and it was over but I guess the alternate is true as well I can't let him decay me or Aizawa dies as well.
"Sensei I got a plan, I need you to hold the Nomu back for as long as you can." He whispered to the man seconds before Shigaraki lunged at him.
Ah well no plan survives first contact with the enemy after all. He reached inside feeling all his quirks. All Quirks online, activating combat mode. He slammed the pedal on Tempo, followed by Fire Breathing to trip up his opponent. Shigaraki jumped back as soon as he saw the flames with a look of confusion on his face. Izuku had three seconds left, he jumped into the air with Jetstream to get directly above Shigaraki before blasting the strongest Air current he could forcing the boy into the floor as Izuku fell upon him. He was a few feet away when a portal appeared underneath him. Shit he can't turn in time Izuku felt himself launch from the void into the air a good 20 feet back, huh momentum carries through the portals. Useful to know but not very helpful at the moment. Aizawa was already started to buckle and he needed a distraction.
Thankfully one did come and it was in the form of an angry amazonian Goddess crackling with black lightning. God that's hot. "Izuku i'm here to help what's the plan."
"Alright I need the handsy ones quirk but the portal guy keeps blocking me from reaching him. Distract him and whatever you do, DO NOT let handsy touch you. His quirk instantly decays anything it touches." He whispered to the girl before silently getting ready for round 2.
Shigaraki was furious. "Couldn't those loser reject villains get anything right." As he watched yet another brat come out of the woodworks freezing his Nomu completely.
It was at this point that Kurogiri spoke. "Shigaraki perhaps it is time we leave."
"NO! KUROGIRI we are not leaving until at least one of these brats are dead." The boy cut back angrily.
Momo charged up One for All in her legs and lunged at the warp portal hoping to catch him off guard while Izuku did the same at Shigaraki. The battle quickly devolved into two seperate 1v1s while Todoroki and Aizawa were working together to defeat or at least restrain the Nomu. Todoroki's quirk was a blessing at this point as it allowed them to have Aizawa temporarily restrain it while todoroki froze it. While the creature was strong it was basically brain dead and not picking up on the strategy and it had been ordered to kill Aizawa. Whenever it broke itself out of Todoroki's ice the creature lost the limbs that were caught in the ice before they quickly regenerated. It basically became a cycle of Restrain, Freeze, regenerate, over and over. Aizawa was hoping there was a limit to the amount of times this thing could regrow its limbs but it was becoming increasingly clear that was not the case.
Izuku and Shigaraki were meanwhile playing the world's most dangerous game of tag. One touch and it would determine the winner. Without the Warp portal to protect him however Shigaraki realized this brat was starting to overwhelm him. HIM. Not to mention the brat was using at least 3 quirks, how dare this child have a quirk like Sensei's.
Izuku saw his moment and went for the kill. He unleashed a violent torrent of flames with a mighty roar. The flames quickly spread towards Shigaraki who had to jump away to avoid the flames but this was only a distraction. Izuku decided now would be his best chance to unveil Silence, he Jetstreamed through the lethal fire cloud feeling nothing thanks to Fire resistance. As he used the flames to hide his body he whizzed by Shigaraki before giving him a silent tap on the shoulder.
Momo on the other hand was getting nowhere fast, she didn't have any way to hurt this stupid things body without killing it. He kept using portals to prevent Momo from getting anywhere near the brace that served as the mists physical body. On the bright side she didn't have to defeat this Kurogiri just distract him and distracting him she was.
YES HE'D DONE IT HE FELT THE QUIRK IN HIM. But before his victory cheer could erupt he heard a sound he had never wanted to hear. Bone crunching over and over again. Izuku knew what he would see before he turned but he forced himself to look anyway. There was his teacher in a bloody puddle, arm twisted the wrong way as the Nomu kept slamming his teacher into the floor over and over again. What changed? Why wasn't Todoroki keeping up his ice assault. Then he saw it, Todoroki was covered in ice himself. HE WAS WILLING TO LET AIZAWA DIE BEFORE HE USED HIS FIRE. IZUKU WAS ABSOLUTELY LIVID. Izuku jetstream himself too close to Shigaraki on purpose, he knew the man child would try to finish him off with the quirk he thought he had. He saw the smile on Shigaraki's face turn to confusion once he realized his quirk wasn't working. Izuku then blasted the confused boy into the lake hoping that would buy him enough time to save Aizawa.
God he was exhausted, he was really overworking his quirks. He hadn't ever abused his quirks this much he realized and he was feeling the backlash of multiple different quirks at once. His eyes were getting blurry, his head was on fire, his breathing erratic and he had even managed to twist his ankle earlier after he landed on it wrong. But he couldn't stop here and so he charged the Nomu who had been too busy pancaking his teacher to realize a silent typhoon was headed its way, he whispered a silenced "It's over, your free." Before connecting all 5 fingertips with the creature on the back.
The creature in question just started screaming as it realized it was in pain it's regeneration starting to fight the decay wave being unleashed upon its body. This isn't fast enough Izuku realized tapping it on the leg then the arm then the other arm. With each subsequent touch the creature began disintegrating from another location and with each time it's regeneration fell faster and faster behind as its body was being consumed. Once both arms and one of its legs had gone Izuku felt it safe enough to get closer and just ran his hand across the rest of the creature, it finally succumbed to the decay and turned fully to ash.
With the major threat handled Izuku moved over to his teacher who lay bloodied and twisted in ways that humans aren't naturally supposed to be in, Izuku had never tried this before but his quirk was the full control of Quirks and he had to try something. He took super strength back before pumping minor regeneration into him being careful to not let all 5 of his fingers touch Aizawa. He put his hand on Aizawa and tried to force the quirk to activate, he was surprised when he felt it activate through their link. That was something he should have tried forever ago forcibly activating someone else's quirk. He wasn't able to stay like this long before he heard Shigaraki shouting at him from a distance.
"YOU CHEATER, YOU HAVE A QUIRK LIKE SENSEI. YOU KILLED MY NOMU AND WITH MY QUIRK YOU FUCKING CHEATER." The boys voice lowered from screaming to silent rage. "All Might is raising you to rival Sensei isn't he? Well he won't win and you are fucking dead do you hear me Izuku Midoriya?"
Izuku perked up when he heard he had a quirk like Shigaraki's Sensei, fuck he was right All for One is involved but at least Shigaraki is basically harmless at this point. He had to keep healing HIS Sensei after all. "If your Sensei can do the same stuff I can then how is that cheating?"
It was at that moment that Izuku saw a flaming Hurricane of explosions rapidly approaching . Finally Bakugo was here, now he had enough people to cover for him not being able to fight at the moment.
"DEKUUUU YOU SAVED SOME FOR ME THANK YOU YOU BASTARD." he roared but it was this point that Kurogiri took the initiative and warped himself and Shigaraki out of there. "GET BACK HERE YOU WARP FUCK." Bakugo shouted at the air like that was gonna work.
Izuku glared at Todoroki before returned his full attention to Eraserhead and tried to make the regeneration work faster but he knew it was slow and would barely even seal the wounds by the time any help arrived, but that's better than just watching his teacher bleed out, I can't even use Molecular manipulation to cauterize the wounds because that requires him to touch the target with all five fingers.
Bakugo saw what Deku was doing and pointedly didn't bother him instead starting to walk off elsewhere but it was at this moment that All Might finally arrived.
"IT IS FINE, WHY BECAUSE I AM HERE." and for the first time Izuku had ever seen, All Might wasn't smiling.
All Might saw what was next to Young Midoriya and immediately leapt to the spot. "I'm healing him All Might but I don't know if it's going to be enough." Izuku started sniffling before All Might pulled him into a hug promising that everything would be alright.
"The medics will be here soon my boy, just keep what your doing up. I have some business to attend to. Young Bakugo guard young Midoriya while I deal with everyone else." All Might hopped off going on to save several students and defeat several more villains.
"Pshh why do I have to guard your useless ass Deku. Can't even protect yourself huh. Guess I'll have to do it then." Bakugo said while whining about not being able to go fight more enemies.
Izuku was doing his best not to laugh. Was Bakugo a Tsundere? Fuck focus, save your teacher first Izuku.
It was Minutes later when the medics and teachers finally arrived, Izuku was glad to see Recovery Girl amongst the teachers. He basically shouted at her until someone brought her to him.
Shuzenji just looked down at her fellow coworker in shock. "Oh dear." She needed to set his bones into correct positions before she could heal him or it would heal wrong.
"I'm healing him but it's really slow and I think he's bleeding out what do I do Recovery Girl?" Izuku looked pleadingly at the pro hero for help.
"Keep what your doing up sonny a stretcher is on the way and I'll need you to come with us. You are currently the only thing keeping him alive." The youthful hero started belting out orders to the medical staff.
The stretcher arrived moments later and Izuku basically sprinted with the thing Izuku however did briefly glance around when they reached top of the stairs and was glad to notice quite a few of his classmates were safe and unharmed as he was slammed into the back of an ambulance. He had been doing this for over 30 minutes by the time they reached the school's infirmary where finally Recovery Girl told him to stop so she could begin her surgery.
Elsewhere...
"All you alright Shigaraki? Is All Might dead?" A voice came through a monitor that read audio only.
"No Sensei, we didn't even get a chance to fight All Might. Some brat with a quirk similar to yours stole my quirk, MY QUIRK and used it to murder MY nomu. He fucking cheated." Shigaraki being livid is an understatement.
"Oh do tell me about this boy Shigaraki." The voice spoke calmingly and reassuringly.
"The brat with green hair who we thought had an Air Cannon quirk, turns out he had just stolen the fucking thing. His real quirk is like yours Sensei." Shigaraki was throwing a temper tantrum at this point.
"I see, do not worry about not having a quirk. I shall grant you a new one soon Shigaraki. We may have failed but learning about a new secret weapon is just as much a victory." The voice laughed from behind the screen. "After all Shigaraki, if you bring me the boy. Wouldn't you like my quirk?"
Chapter 10
Izuku was sitting outside of the nurse's office waiting no seething in anger and worry. Worry for his teacher and anger for a certain heterochromatic haired boy. Izuku knew he would deal with the latter first. His teacher was definitely the priority at the moment. Izuku was staring at the surgery sign that was still lit indicating an ongoing surgery but out of the corner of his eye he noticed his mentor and a recognizable police detective walking down the hallway towards him.
"Hello Yagi-san, Tsukauchi-san. I wasn't given a chance to check out what happened to the rest of the class. Is Thirteen alright? Are they alright?" Izuku turned towards the men, hoping for the best.
The skeleton answered first. "Yes, my boy everyone will be alright. Thirteen is stable and the worst anyone else suffered were minor cuts and injuries. The only major injury is Eraserhead, i'd like to thank you for what you did today young Midoriya. You undoubtedly saved many lives today." His mentor smiled at him.
The detective spoke next. "I know what you went through today was traumatizing, and you're likely not ready to answer but we need a debriefing from you Midoriya." He looked almost sad having to do his job.
"That's fine let's get this over with." Izuku went on to explain the events of the day, starting with the opening of the warp portal, getting sent to the fire zone with Bakugo, discovering the strength of the Nomu, stealing the quirk of Shigaraki, using it to kill the Nomu, Eraserhead getting hurt holding off the Nomu. Izuku left out the part of Todoroki being the reason that Aizawa got hurt, he would handle that bit personally. Thankfully leaving a piece of the truth out doesn't count as a lie so Tsukauchi didn't catch it.
"He's back Toshinori-San, i'm so sure of it. I know you thought you killed him but based off of what the villain leader said he has someone behind him and that person has a quirk like mine." Izuku paled at that, this was the literal worst situation.
All Might went white after hearing that, he never wanted to deal with All for One again and now Toshinori had failed, his successor had to fight him as well. "Are you sure young Midoriya, are you sure you didn't mishear that?"
"I'm sure All Might, I mean look at detective Tsukauchi." Izuku was looking down while he said that.
All Might saw the detective was in shock, the skeleton of a man realized how bad this was but shook it off for now. "So you currently have the main villain's quirk my boy?" All Might asked after realizing just how many quirks Izuku had been tossing around.
"Yeah I honestly kind of don't want it, can we dump it on a Villain." Izuku demonstrated by decaying a pencil that was in his pocket. "I can't turn this off, if I touch anything with all five fingers it just dies. I know Villainous quirks aren't a thing, but like this is just inconvenient." Izuku looked down again after saying that, although he should make a point with it before he gets rid of it.
"Of course my boy, we can get rid of it as soon as possible. But I want to ask if you're okay." Toshinori was worried for the boy never having seen him this dejected before.
Izuku hesitated before responding. "Um, can I talk to you in private Yagi-san?"
The detective was confused but nodded understanding the relationship between the two and walking off to go find a vending machine.
"So what's wrong young Midoriya?" All Might knew something was wrong but not exactly what.
"All Might, how would you handle a person who wants to be a hero but refuses to be the best they can be? And their inaction almost killed someone?" Izuku was looking down at his chair while he said this.
Toshinori pondered the question before responding. "Well they are trying to be a hero my boy. But if they could have done something to save someone and refused to do something that is quite the question. If I had to ask does it have to do with what happened to Eraserhead?"
"Yes." Izuku responded dryly.
"Hmm, so they want to be a hero but they're inaction caused the injury of another. I would say that they are just a student at this point and only for a week at this point after all. They may have messed up now but with time they will gain the ability to act or they will be forced to leave the Hero course. No first year students are supposed to have to fight villains after all." Toshinori giving the best advice he could.
Huh. Izuku realized the man wasn't wrong, they weren't heroes, hell they hadn't even been students for a week yet. I'll talk to him and give him a wakeup call, either he fixes himself or Aizawa expels him. That's the best he had at this point. "Thanks All Might, that helped a lot, can I ask one other thing? Where is everyone else? I really want to check up on Momo and the rest."
"No problem my boy, I took responsibility for you so it's only fair I guide you as best as I can and as for young Yaoyorozu she's in the classroom getting debriefed with everyone else if you wish to see them." All Might said.
"Got it and thank you again. Please watch over Aizawa-sensei for me." With that Izuku went rushing down the hallway to find 1-A's homeroom.
He didn't get far before he received a phone call. He saw the number and Immediately paled how had he forgotten to call his mother. The second the call connected he heard his mother's voice coming through like an unstable mess. "Izuku are you okay please tell me your okay."
"Yeah Mom I'm fine I don't even have a scratch. Our teacher saved us." Technically a lie as he had sprained his ankle but that wasn't a scratch.
"Oh thank god my babies fine. Can you please come visit this weekend I need to see you and the school won't let us in the building due to security reasons." Inko pleaded with her child.
"Yeah Mom i'll make sure to drop by but I have to go check on everyone can I talk to you later? I love you." Izuku felt bad for his mom but everyone's safety was more important at the moment.
"Fine Izuku i'm just glad your okay I saw the attack on the news. You're going to tell me what happened you hear me?"
"Yes Mom I love you and I can't wait to see you, bye." He clicked the phone symbol on his phone ending the call before he continued on his path.
Once he reached the large door he tried to pull it open as softly as he could to avoid startling the class but in his decision making he forgot about Decay and accidentally touched the door with all 5 fingers. Leaving a very startled 1-A staring at him, Izuku just face palmed.
"Sorry guys I didn't mean to scare you I'm really not used to this quirk, this is like the third thing I've accidentally decayed in the last hour alone, are you all alright? I was with Aizawa or I'd of been with you all." Izuku smiled as brightly as he could while saying that, hoping people wouldn't hold onto the fact that he just disintegrated the door.
The spiky red haired one was the first to respond. "Hell yeah Midoriya, we heard you fought that big brain Villain and the one with hands all over his body. That's manly as hell. How is teach?"
Izuku rubbed the back of his head sheepishly until that last bit. "Well um thanks first and for the second thing he's in surgery at the moment. I trust recovery girl to save him."
It was at this point Momo ran over to hug him but Izuku had to make sure not to touch her back which resulted in this really weird unreciprocated hug. "Sorry Momo i'd hug you back but you just saw what I did to the door, I still have the hand guy's quirk. I really don't want to risk decaying you or something like that."
Momo just kept her hug going for a few seconds. "I'm just glad your okay, you jumped in to fight over 50 villains and the main three threats with our PRO HERO teacher. I promise you i'll be getting revenge for that later."
"I'm sorry I know I said I wouldn't do anything that reckless again. Oh and I'm sorry this probably isn't the time but could you make me some three finger gloves? I really want to stop doing that." Izuku gestured to the door but he did honestly feel bad about breaking his promise to not put himself in danger again.
Thankfully the creation girl understood and created the gloves he asked for, but it was just after that a police officer came in he paused noticing the dust where the door used to be but just shrugged and told people they would be getting debriefed one at a time. Izuku took this chance to return to his seat but not before stopping next to the Heterochromatic teen and whispering into his ear." We are talking after this, and no it's not a question."
"Oh by the way Kacchan give me Pyrokinesis back." His frown immediately changing to one of a smile.
"IT'S NOT LIKE I WANTED YOUR SHITTY FUCKING QUIRK ANYWAY DEKU." Bakugo said that but he seemed hesitant to give Izuku a handshake but finally he relented and gave Izuku the quirk back.
At this point Izuku was snickering, Bakugo Katsuki was definitely a tsundere.
Thankfully the officer skipped Izuku as he had already been debriefed by Tsukauchi and after everyone had been called away they were finally released for the day. Izuku noticed Todoroki trying to leave quickly but he gripped him by the shoulder and just shook his head at the boy. "I told you we are talking and even if we do there's still the chance Aizawa expels you, I know what you did Todoroki." He whispered into the boy's ear.
The rest of the class was filling out but Izuku noticed Momo was waiting for him, he just held a finger to let her know to wait for him.
"Alright Todoroki it's time to come clean. Why won't you use your fire, and I swear to god it better be a good enough reason to let our teacher die because if not I swear I will do everything in my power to get you removed this class, hell this school." Izuku was livid but he would at least give the boy a chance as All Might had said, it was only their first week.
Todoroki's brows furrowed. He would never let himself be intimidated but he couldn't get the sight of his teacher getting smashed into the floor while he did nothing out of his head. It had been haunting him and he knew he would be having nightmares about it later. He relented. "Tell me Midoriya have you have of quirk marriages? My father if you could call him that was an abusive scum. He bought my mother who had an ice quirk and used her as what was essentially an egg donor until he had me, his perfect offspring. Do you know what happened to the rest? They were sidelined, my brother Touya was trained until he died. Fuyumi was neglected because she only inherited mostly my mother's side, same with Natsuo. I was his 4th attempt at his perfect child and low and behold I came out 'Perfect', a perfect combination of my father's fire quirk and my mother's ice quirk. He beat me and called it training in order to make me the perfect 'Hero' the one to surpass his legacy. When I was 5 my mother could no longer take it, she took a boiling pot of water and did this." He gestured to the scar on his face. "I will never use that man's quirk, he isn't a hero he's a villain in disguise."
Izuku while understandably shook by the story about Endeavor being as much of a shitbag as he was, he knew he needed to take the initiative here, so he reacted in the one way he knew the boy wouldn't expect. He laughed as hard as he could. "So what does that matter you fucking moron. Do you know who my father was? Tell me have you heard of the dragon? He has a bodycount of 32 people, he burned them to death with his firebreath and guess what, HE was my father. Jetstream? Used by a woman to murder over 20 people on some kind of psychotic joyride. Pyrokinesis? The sociopath used it to trap people in burning buildings so he could listen to the screams of the dying. SO DO YOU THINK I GIVE A DAMN WHEN YOU AREN'T EVEN USING THE SAME QUIRK? IT'S YOUR GOD DAMN QUIRK AND TODAY YOUR INACTION MIGHT HAVE KILLED OUR TEACHER! I'm telling you this for your own good, it's not the quirk that makes one a murderer it's the user. Shape up or give up Todoroki." With that Izuku stormed out of the room, he was really glad Momo was there waiting outside of the room for him or he would have probably broken something.
"Izuku are you okay?" Momo looked genuinely worried.
"I'm better since you're here. Let's go okay? I don't want to be here anymore but I've got the perfect place to I want to see." Izuku grabbed her by the hand so he could lead her off.
"Oh when did you get so smooth." She winked at him and Izuku immediately started blushing.
Back in the room however Todoroki was having an existential crisis. He was googling the dragon on his phone and sure enough the body count and familial connection was made clear. Hisashi Midoriya, Midoriya was using the quirk of his father, a criminal, and he was using it for good. So why couldn't he? Todoroki stared at his left side for awhile before he walked off.
At Dagobah Beach 3 hours later
"I'm sorry I dragged you all the way out here Momo, I just really wanted to see the view for a bit. This place is so beautiful now, you did an amazing job, you know that right?" Izuku wasn't even looking at her as he stared off into the sunset.
"I know but more reminders wouldn't hurt." She too was entranced by the view.
"Hey Momo the school gave us off the next few days, want to meet my mom?" Izuku asked
Momo didn't hesitate before responding. "Of course I would and I want you to meet my parents as well, just don't freak out when you see my house please."
"So my place tomorrow and then yours after that?" Izuku turned to smile at her.
"That would be fine with m-" She was interrupted by a pair of lips meeting her own.
"You know your the best right and you've earned everything you currently have? I know you get kinda down on yourself but this was all you, you are all you." Izuku gestured to everywhere around them.
Momo was startled by the sudden kiss but was able to recover quickly enough. "Ahem, I think we shouldn't do such activities in public... but I wouldn't mind it back at the dorms." She let out that second bit as quietly as she could.
"Oh eager are we. Well I think we could set something up." He smiled at her blushing face. "There's a really good ramen place around here though that we should check out beforehand." Grabbing her by the hand before leading her elsewhere.
The couple ended up at a very small Mom and Pop type ramen store. Momo was kind of surprised Izuku was able to find this considering how small it was. "Um, Izuku if i'm being honest i've never had ramen before. My parents said it wasn't for me." Momo blushed as she looked away.
"Well consider this my first lesson in teaching you how to live like the rest of us, but I guess you won't have too 1 hero." He stuck his tongue out at her while saying that.
"Cmon Izu, you've been teasing me enough tonight, and besides i'm only up to 6% I have so far to go." Momo was beet red at this point.
"Momo you'll do great now do you like spicy food?" Izuku just kept rolling.
"Um yes?" She responded
"Perfect, when I was really young and me and Kacchan were still friends we came here all the time. He loves spicy food. I highly recommend the fiery shop special." Momo noticed Izuku had a sad look on his eyes for a brief second when he said that.
"Forgive me for prying but it seems like you and Bakugo had a history, could you tell me more about it Izu and also i'll take your recommendation." Momo really wanted to know what broke those two up.
"Hmm well I'd have to start way back. At the age of four I was diagnosed quirkless and Bakugo was diagnosed as having this amazing quirk. I think the constant praise got to him. Imagine being told your better than everyone else for 10 years of your of life, eventually you'd start to believe it. It wasn't until I was 10 that I discovered my quirk and the very first one I took was Bakugo's quirk. I'd say it was wrong of me but it set me on my current path so I don't regret it at all and to be honest after 6 years of being bullied by him he deserved it. Thankfully he's starting to turn over a new leaf, he's still loud, obnoxious, and a complete asshole but I can see him starting to realize where he went wrong. I got over him long ago but now I think that he realizes being in the top 1% doesn't matter when your with the rest of that 1%. I do hope he changes for the better though." Izuku said all this with a wistful look in his eyes.
"So he was a bully and you punished him for it, that's how your whole situation came about?" Momo asked.
"Pretty much yeah, but it led to meeting All Might and more importantly you. So I can't be sad about it. I've never said this before but I love you Momo, I'm pretty sure I have for awhile." It was Izuku's turn to blush after that but he tried to be confident while he said it.
Momo to her credit managed to not go full tomato. "I think I love you too Izu. I think I have since the hospital incident. I realized you not being in my life would probably be one of the worst things that could happen to me. The USJ scared me Izu, I saw you fighting those scary villains with only Aizawa-Sensei at your side. If something had happened to you I wouldn't have forgiven myself."
Izuku just smiled at her. "Yeah you saved us Momo, without you I wouldn't have been able to defeat the Nomu thing. I couldn't have taken the warp quirk guy and handys man at the same time."
They ate peacefully for awhile, Izuku admiring the face of a Momo trying to handle a 750,000 scoville unit ramen, he probably should have told her how hot it was but watching her freaking out about the heat was more fun. Their peace was eventually interrupted by a phone call.
