Chapter 159 - 1-2

Chapter 1

The Dismissal of a Grape

"If you're here to make friends, you can pack up your stuff and leave." The yellow "caterpillar" Shota Aizawa spoke while looking up at his new class of hero students. Slowly standing up and unzipping the sleeping bag covering his body, Aizawa emerged from the cocoon with his tired eyes scanning the room, watching as many of the students were whispering amongst themselves for a few moments before all of them quieted down, realizing their instructor was waiting for them.

"Twelve seconds, that is far from acceptable," Aizawa said with a stern tone of voice, causing a few of the students to flinch. The underground hero sighed heavily as he moved towards his podium and pulled out a rather large box, grunting slightly from the weight of the thing before opening up and bringing out a sealed clear package with a standard UA gym outfit inside, "grab the one with your name and then go and change and report to Ground Beta, you have fifteen minutes."

"But what about the first-day orientation?" Someone had asked from the slightly bewildered and confused class. Aizawa couldn't tell who had asked but sighed just the same before leveling a deadpanned look to them.

"Frivolous events like those are illogical, now grab your uniforms and head out; you have thirteen minutes."

The new students quickly clamored up from their seats, rushing towards the box, and immediately found and dashed out of the room. Aizawa was about to head out when seen that one of the new students had remained behind, "Yes?"

"Um… I-I am really sorry to ask this, sir." Spoke the young brunette woman with an ever-present blush on her cheeks, "B-But did a boy with green hair make it? H-he saved me during the entrance exam, and I know Present Mic said not to worry about giving him my points. Still, I didn't see him on the way here. We had an empty desk… and I um…" she quieted down when the constant staring of her teacher made her more nervous, thinking she was being a problem for her tired-looking man.

In reality, Aizawa did not think she was annoying or a problem. While on the outside, it looked like he didn't care; within his mind, Aizawa was actually happy that someone had noticed the missing student or even managed to ask.

But still needing to push the "ruse", Aizawa just turned from his podium and headed out the room, speaking as he did so, "It's pointless to worry about things out of your control, go get changed; you have eleven minutes."

The sudden gasp and worry of the girl dashing past him caused Aizawa to smirk under his scarf.

"Man, I'm hungry… I knew I should have had that third helping of ham this morning." said Izuku Midoriya, stretching his arms over his head before bringing them down to pat his stomach, sighing gently as he went to fix his gym outfit, "and I hope I don't trash this uniform…."

"It cannot be helped," Spoke a rather wizened looking man beside him, looking up to the towering young adult, "It is rare for most articles of clothing to hold in not only your strength but also your size as well. It's one of the reasons why many of the Gauls and especially Obelix refrained from wearing sleeves."

"I mean…that makes sense, but Getafix, what about my pants?" Izuku said with a tinge of a blush running along his cheeks as he looked to the older man with some slight worry, "I don't want to moon my new classmates!"

"Not to worry, Nezu wanted me to assure you that the pants he provided for you would survive any sort of punishment you could dish out."

"And my top?" Izuku asked with an inquisitive look, though he had a feeling he already knew the answer.

Getafix merely shrugged, causing the boy to sigh heavily, "I had asked him about your upper garments as well, but all he did was laugh hysterically."

"Of course he did…." Izuku rubbed the bridge of his nose while shaking his head, only to look up when he heard the sounds of shoes against the track coming towards the pair. Izuku smiled brightly as he strode over to one of his favorite people in the world, "Uncle Aizawa!"

"Problem Child." the rugged man spoke as he watched the much taller and larger teenager make his way over to him, "I didn't see you when the others came into the classroom." continued the tired teacher, leveling a deadpanned look on his student and pseudo nephew.

"Y-yea... sorry about that; I was finishing my breakfast and morning training when Getafix told me to head here and wait for everyone." Izuku said as he and his teacher looked back towards the older man and saw Getafix make his way towards them, "Is this going to be one of your quirk assessment tests?" Izuku asked, looking back towards Aizawa with an inquisitive look.

"Yes, but don't mention it to the others when they get here, and you know what I'll be watching for?" Aizawa said with a side glance.

"My control over my strength, I know Unc- I mean sir!" Izuku said with a quick backpedal when Aizawa had given him a glare of his quirk.

"Good, watch with the 'familial' ties, Problem Child, and we should be good…Now, go stand away and wait so that the others don't get suspicious." Aizawa had said with his eyes returning to normal, seeing Izuku give a quick nod and move a reasonable distance from his teacher and mentor; Aizawa soon looked towards Getafix, "I take it he's already prepared?"

"He's had a big breakfast if that's what you are referring to, so we won't have to resort to your emergency stash of jellies this time." The older man chuckled to himself, causing Aizawa to grumble into his scarf, "Oh come now, nothing to grumble about, young man, we did replace all of the ones Izuku had taken as well as adding some of the 'special' ones I made you for when you are galavanting on the rooftops at night."

The smile hidden under the older man's long white beard could be heard in his voice as Aizawa grumbled. Despite how he lived his life, the underground hero knew he would be far worse off had he not had a local supply of the supposed "druid's" magic potion in the form of his jelly snacks and hidden in a secret place not even Izuku could ever find. He could hear Getafix shift slightly as Aizawa looked back at him, "What is it?"

"Truthfully, I'm worried about Izuku." Getafix said while staring at the young man who had his back turned to them and doing some light stretches, "Despite his experiences living here at UA, he has seldom interacted with people his own age."

Aizawa leveled a look at the old druid before sighing gently, looking back to his nephew and remembering the first time he had met the green-haired young man, "Was it not at your suggestion to keep him like that until practically now?"

"I had my reasons, as you very well know, young man; I doubt you would agree to let Izuku be around any child with the strength to defeat legions of Roman soldiers with zero control." It was Getafix now to give Aizawa a stern look, "Or do you need a reminder of what he did to that one man who he thought was going to hurt Nemuri?"

"Not really, no, and I still stand by how illogical it was that a ten-year-old could just backhand an adult male so hard that there was nothing but their shoes left until he came back down," Aizawa said as he squinted his eyes when he could hear the various shouts of excitement coming from the University's doors.

"I thought it was funny, to be quite honest," Getafix said with a shrug and a goodhearted chuckle, "Reminded me of old times, as well as showing that ruffian what for."

"And to think Death Arms still has a restraining order against the problem child to this day…."

"Come on, 'Chako!" The pink-skinned young woman named Mina Ashido, arm slung around the downtrodden brunette who had come pretty late to the changing room, "You said that one of the teachers told you he'd be fine getting in. So what's to worry about?"

"I-I know Ashido…." Ochako Uraraka said softly, tapping her fingertips together, "But I never got to thank him for saving me during the entrance exam! And if he didn't make it, I don't think I ever could…."

"While I also agree with Ashido's assessment, I do also have to point out it would be quite unreasonable for a prestigious university such as UA let someone with that amount of talent and strength to not be in the heroics course," Tenya Iida had said while moving his arm up and down similarly like a robot, being followed behind by a few of the other men.

"What did he do exactly?" The redhead known as Ejiro Kirishima spoke up suddenly.

"It was truly inspiring!" Tenya had turned his head towards his classmate while the others were looking at him while listening, "During the practical portion of the exam, he saved Uraraka, who had been pinned down by some debris when the Zero-pointer had emerged from behind some buildings."

"How did he do that?" Asked a blond boy with a streak of black running down one side of his hair.

"Well, he first ran up to the monstrosity, then leaped into the air before delivering a single punch to the zero pointer's head!"

Everyone looked at the blue-haired young man like he had grown a second head for a few moments, many of which due to having come across their own zero pointers in the exam and remembering just how big the damn thing was. It was at this point that Iida continued, "After dispatching of the robot, he descended down its body and made his way to Uraraka, effortlessly tossed the boulder that had pinned her down and then carried her off towards, I'm assuming, the entrance to the battle zone?"

As Iida had said this, everyone looked towards the now red-faced Ochako, who timidly nodded. At this point, Mina and another girl who was invisible named Toru squealed lightly to one another as everyone had exited out of the main building to head towards the field. It was a sound similar to a croak from a frog that caught Ochako's attention after she had been trying to deal with both Mina and Toru, "Say, Uraraka, that guy that saved you, did he have green hair, kero?"

"H-Huh? O-oh yes, yes he did!"

"Well, I think you don't need to worry anymore if that's him." Spoke the quirk-altered girl pointing towards another student who was finishing up some squats with his back turned towards the oncoming class. Ochako smiled brightly and looked relieved as she and the others began to make their way to the lone man, but as they got closer, some of the students looked flabbergasted at what they had come upon.

Now, it wasn't strange for someone's body to be altered by their quirk, or they had to put a lot of work into getting their body into top shape, especially when it came to heroics. But, to say that the boy was large was an understatement.

While most, if not all of the students, had to look up to look upon his face, it was hard not to point out that he was on the larger side. While he didn't look as fit as someone like All Might, they could see how built up his muscles were underneath the gym outfit as the cloth strained to hide what was underneath. As they were approaching him at a more subdued pace, they watched as the larger student stopped in what he was doing and turned around, only to be met with more confused faces as while the class was expecting to see a man with possibly a few scars and a grim look, only to be met with the almost baby faced, yet plain-looking boy with bright emerald eyes that held so much wonder when he looked upon his new classmates.

And while it didn't look like he could run fast, they watched as he sped towards them with such haste you'd think it would be supersonic, especially with the dust cloud that trailed behind him and flowed past and caused many of the other students to begin coughing, "I knew I'd see you again!" the boy said in an excited tone of voice and beaming a smile down at the still coughing gravity girl.

"H-huh?" Ochako said after she finished coughing, waving a hand in front of her face to clear the air of the dust. Her brown eyes looked up into his emeralds, and she immediately began to fidget and blush again, remembering the last time they had seen one another and the phantom touches of how he had carried her towards the medical area. Ochako snapped out of her daydreaming as she finally registered what he had said, "Y-You knew We'd see each other again?"

"Yep!" Izuku said with no shame and a big grin on his face, "How you handled the robots and helped out others during the exam really showed how great of a hero you can be! And your quirk is just so cool! Like is there a limit to how much weight you can remove? Or is it possibly just negating a certain field around the objects you touch? Also-"

As the others watched the exchange going on between the still embarrassed but now completely lost-looking Ochako and the mystery boy bombarding her with a dozen or more questions about her quirk, Mina was smiling wildly as the thoughts of how cute the two looked to one another sent her 'shipping' senses into overdrive, even if nothing happened out of it. Plus, she had to admit the mystery boy was pretty cute himself, and if Uraraka wasn't going to move in and claim the big guy… Well, she couldn't be blamed for what she would do.

"Midoriya, enough, you can badger your new classmates after we are finished here." A stern voice spoke from behind the large student as everyone shifted around him to see their homeroom teacher, along with another older man walking towards them.

As the two stopped a reasonable distance away, Iida had raised his hand up, "Excuse me, sir… but who is that beside you?"

"I am one of the university's health administrators; you can call me Getafix." said the old druid with a big smile and a gentle chuckle coming from him, considering how a few of the students had tried to do their best not to snicker at the man's name, "I am here mostly to oversee your health and make sure none of you go too overboard with what is to come."

"W-what's going to happen?" asked a diminutive young man with purple balls on his head.

While the students couldn't see it due to his scarf, Aizawa was smirking to himself as he leaned back on the ball of his heel and gave the most dead-eyed stare to the twenty students before him, "A Quirk Assessment test."

Izuku was feeling good about himself right now, stepping away from the ring with a very impressive 120-meter ball toss. The smirk he could see coming from his uncle while hiding the look from the rest of the class further solidified that notion as the more oversized teenager made his way back to his classmates.

Admittedly, what was causing him some worry was the looks from his fellow classmates. Now, Izuku would happily admit he had some trouble reading people at times, given his interactions with Tamaki when Izuku could hang out with him, Mirio, and Nejire over the last couple of years.

But the way some of his classmates had looked upon with, he guessed, 'disbelief' or something as they had progressed through the various tests only to finish with the ball toss. Granted, a few of his peers were talking to him at least, the brown-haired girl Ochako Uraraka and the glasses-wearing boy Tenya Iida had introduced themselves during the preparations between each test, and he was able to ask them about their quirks as well.

But he had learned the names of the rest of his classmates, thanks to Aizawa calling out their names, and as Izuku had watched them, he could see all of their quirks in action as well as think up all of the possibilities they could do.

Heck, he also thought what would happen were they given some of Grandpa Getafix's magic potion.

But there were some outlier's to be sure, many of whom just wanted to steer clear of him. Some of which was the boy named Todoroki, who just kept either glaring at Izuku or just always had a stoic look on his face. The other was another blonde boy who could fire out explosions from his hands named Bakugo that was definitely glaring at him with a bit of a snarl to add to the look.

For some reason, that name was bugging Izuku, like something he should have remembered or something. But, Izuku was sure it would come to him eventually.

However, one classmate of his rubbed Izuku the wrong way, and that was one Minoru Mineta.

He had watched the more petite boy try to leer at their female classmates, many of who noticed and did their best to hide away from the purple-haired pest. Now, Izuku was not blind. He could appreciate the form of a woman as much as the next person would. Admittedly, all of his female classmates were drop-dead gorgeous, invisible or not.

But being raised by his mother Inko and Aunt Nemuri and taught about the finer points of the fairer sex by the latter, even if her sex education classes gave a little TOO much information. At least the green-haired boy understood boundaries, so Izuku huffed to himself before walking over and blocking the diminutive lecher's view from the women, much to their appreciation.

Admittedly, he did notice Ochako grumbled something when the bubblegum-skinned woman named Mina Ashido was talking to him, although he couldn't understand why as he thought the quirk-altered woman was only being very friendly towards him. But he would admit that she looked pretty cute when she blushed purple after she grabbed one of his arms and gave it a squeeze.

"Alright," called out Aizawa as Izuku came out of his inner thoughts, "Here are your results."

And as the giant scoreboard flickered on, Izuku began to smile to himself when he saw that he had placed eighth overall. That was a vast improvement from the last time he took tests, and he was happy with his results, unlike some people.

"NOOOO! I don't want to be kicked out!" shouted Mineta while wailing, snot and tears running down his face, which was kind of disgusting. As the smaller boy brought his head up, there was a look of pure outrage as he scrambled up to his feet and pointed his finger at Midoriya, "These tests are utter garbage! How the hell did that fat oaf place higher than me!"

Mineta didn't relent as he was clearly seeing red, stomping his way towards the shocked Izuku, while everyone else took a tentative step back, not fearing what the small boy would do to their massive classmate, but more for curiosity as they too were wondering how Izuku got so high.

"Not once was he trying! He did worse than me on several of those tests and even dead last on a couple of him, and YET he's fucking eighth?!"

Izuku blinked, frowning slightly as he looked down at Mineta, "I can ex-"

"And then, you keep blocking my view! What the absolute hell! And don't try and deny it!" Mineta squawked out, tears of blood flowing out of his now beady eyes, "Just because you're some seven hundred pound gorilla doesn't mean you can hog all the tail in class!"

The pint-sized student was now standing up to Izuku, panting heavily before continuing on his rant, poking the larger boy's stomach while he was shouting more and more about how Izuku had been cockblocking him the entire time as well as a few other comments about his weight. Everyone was starting to get agitated or disturbed at the way Mineta was acting, and Izuku merely looked up from staring down at the boy to look at his tired Uncle, a silent exchange going between them for a moment before Izuku returned his eyes down to the wailing child before him.

Without a moment of hesitation, Izuku simply lifted his left arm up, smacking Mineta upside the chin, but despite it looking like a casual sort of movement, the diminutive boy was launched high into the air, his shoes literally falling off as Mineta screeched overhead, soaring into the air before there was nothing but a speck in the distance and disappeared past one of the many distant buildings on the university grounds.

"Problem child," Aizawa spoke up suddenly to cut the tense silence in the air as said problem child looked to his teacher/uncle.

"Yes, he should have landed at the waste disposal site… F… I think, given the wind resistance?" Izuku said while licking his finger quickly to check for the wind, and as he felt the cool breeze, he smiled, "Yep, F."

"Good, I'll make sure to have Cementoss grab him and have him checked over by Recovery Girl before we toss him out for inappropriate behavior unbecoming a hero student." The teacher said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cellphone. However, as he was doing this, Iida had been the first one of the students to snap out of what they just saw and rushed over to Izuku.

"Midoriya! While I understand what Mineta did and said went too far, there was no reason to launch him into the air, especially that high!" The bi-spectacled boy shouted while waving his arm up and down robotically once again before he spoke in a more subdued tone with a stern glare that caused Izuku to flinch, "And what he spoke about you not trying during the tests, while I have personally seen you demolish the zero pointer, I will admit you didn't seem to actually put in your all."

Just when Izuku was about to explain himself, which he was having a difficult time too when everyone began to give him hard stares as well, it was the clearing throat of Getafix to get everyone's attention, "If Izuku is alright with it, I can explain the circumstances as to why it seemed he wasn't trying as hard as the rest of you."

When the older man got the silent nod from his adopted grandson, the old druid smiled as he spoke, "You see, Izuku's quirk is unique, where his strength, stamina, and speed are far past that of even quirked individuals. It is called 'Gaule Verte'."

A few people gasped gently, looking now to the still slightly embarrassed man, who was rubbing the back of his head with a soft chuckle as Getafix continued, "When it first awakened, his strength was so great that he couldn't grip anything lest he utterly destroyed it, even the smallest of movements was difficult for him, and the fact that his strength is always at that level made him very dangerous."

"He needed to learn control while also interacting in a world that was basically like tissue paper to him," Getafix said with a somber tone of voice, remembering some of the more troublesome times.

Izuku looked down to the ground softly, remembering those exact times and what he said gasped a few of his classmates to gasp in shock and sadness for the larger boy, "I couldn't even hug my mom when I was young as there was a fear I could crush her."

"Hence why his test was different than yours." Aizawa had said, closing his cellphone, and leveled a hard stare at the other students, "Midoriya's was to see how much control he was able to use and hold back his strength, which made it look like he wasn't trying at all."

"Dude…" Kirishima said with a look of awe on his face before smiling brightly, "Your quirk is freakin amazing and manly!"

"O-Oh.. thank you, Kirishima," Izuku replied with a bright smile, the blush still somewhat evident on his cheeks, and as he was about to try and reassure everyone that he wasn't trying to undermine all of their own hard work, his stomach let out a loud gurgling cry for food, which caused him to go red once again and earn a few snickers from everyone else.

"That is the other d-downside, my body is constantly b-burning through all of my energy, and I need to eat at regular intervals… otherwise, I just pass out from exhaustion until I get some food in me."

"Speaking of, your syllabus is on your desks; I wasn't going to actually expel anyone today as you all had potential, and the threat was to motivate you." Aizawa said as he turned around and began to walk away with his hands in his pockets, "But now I need to fill out some forms for a new student. Getafix-"

"Already on it, Aizawa." Getafix said with a smirk and shaking of his head before turning his attention back to the students, "Alright everyone, you heard your teacher; once everyone is back in class, I can show you to the cafeteria and the dorms you'll be staying in and then you'll have the rest of the day free."

As everyone cheered about the promise of food, especially Izuku, the entire class of 1-A began to head back to the changerooms. As they were doing so, Izuku was smiling to himself about the new experiences he would have with his new classmates. However, there was still one thing at the back of his mind, one worry that would forever haunt him should his classmates find out.

What would happen if they found out that he was actually quirkless, and his "quirk" was really just an accident that took place many years ago.

When four-year-old Izuku Midoriya had fallen into a giant cauldron filled with a magical potion.

Chapter 2

Stress Boars

The rising sun slowly began to peek over the horizon, bringing its light to shine down upon the vast ground of UA University, with its various large buildings and outdoor areas used to train the next generation of heroes.

One such area was a vast forest that one would think could not exist in the middle of a major city, but with the expenses and proper building permits, anything was possible.

Plus, having an all-powerful druid to keep the forest healthy and on the staff payroll was an added bonus.

That same druid, Getafix, wizened beyond the years of mortal men, had been leaping and running across the various treetops this particular morning, gathering the ingredients needed for the multiple lotions, potions, and concoctions he would be brewing for not only the staff but also to stock up the necessities for the infirmary, as requested by Recovery Girl.

He also needed some Mistletoe to create more of the magic potion for the oncoming nightly patrols of Aizawa and to start brewing the required amounts for this year's first-year classes.

While the older man had no doubt that Aizawa would recognize Izuku's progress in controlling his strength, the rest couldn't be said for the rest of the students, given the ever-tired teacher's usual discourse of 'expel first, ask questions later'. The previous year had been particularly brutal. Not a single student had made it past the QAT at the beginning of the semester.

So while Getafix had planned for at least some of the students to pass, he wasn't expecting nineteen of them.

Eighteen, for now, as the Mineta boy had been expelled from not only the hero course but the university in its entirety, even facing some legal action from a group of lawyers representing the entire group of women within Class 1-A.

And he thought the Roman politicians were a cutthroat bunch, but that legal team young Yoyaorozu had gotten was just downright ruthless, even by Gaul standards.

Standing on one of the more thickened branches of the tall trees provided a beautiful view of the university and the city that surrounded the area. One would think that the University had been here long before the towering skyscrapers, but funny enough, that wasn't the case.

As he continued to look out on the horizon, he could see a large billowing of dust and smoke from further in the forest and passing by the trees, smiling to himself as he knew who was causing such a ruckus.

That had been the other person that would not receive any of the magic potion when it came time. The memories of Obelix causing wanton destruction when given even a single drop of the brew were a harsh reminder of what it would and could possibly do to his adopted grandson.

A sudden crash and robotic-sounding screech echoed out of the forest's depths; Getafix had a slight smile on his lips as he descended down the large tree he was on with practiced ease and awaited for the perpetrator to come by.

From the rustle of some bushes, a familiar head of curly green hair popped out, before more of the currently shirtless boy came scrambling out with what looked to be an inactive giant metallic boar, about the size of a large semi-truck, resting on his shoulder, calling out to the older man while rushing towards him, "Morning Grandpa!"

"Good Morning, Izuku! Good to see that you are keeping up with your exercises." Getafix said with a bright smile before eyeing the 'beast' currently hoisted over the young man's shoulders, "Using the 'stress' boar today?"

Izuku stopped in his tracks, frozen for a moment before chuckling embarrassingly and using his free hand to rub the back of his head, "Y-Yea… kinda nervous for today, actually. I thought if I had the bigger model out, it would give me the challenge to forget my worries, if even for a little while."

Getafix merely chuckled softly, walking up to his adopted grandson and patted him on the shoulder, "There is nothing wrong with that, it's normal to feel such when dealing with new people, particularly in your case since this is the first time you will be dealing with those of your age group."

"I just hope I didn't upset any of them yesterday; I know they looked a little mad when Mineta called me out on 'not trying'." Izuku sighed softly, beginning to walk back to the support studio to drop off his 'catch' with Getafix walking alongside him with his hands behind his back.

"I wouldn't overthink about it, my boy. They seemed to have understood why you were holding back, and truthfully, I do wish we needn't go to such measures." The older man sighed wistfully, looking up to the sky through the canopy of trees, "There are days I wish things were similar to the old days, like the village where I used to live back in Gaul. nothing in these modern times could ever match up to the strength of those old buildings and walls."

"Is that why it's still standing as a historic site, Grandpa Getafix?"

"Partially," Getafix said with a smirk, "The real reason why it was built so sturdy was to accommodate not only some of our strongest warriors but also Obelix's own size and strength."

"I kinda wish I could have met him," Izuku said softly, looking straight ahead, "Asterix as well, maybe trained with them since he would be used to Obelix's own strength and stamina."

"I'm sure they would have loved to train with you, show you the ways of the Gaul." Getafix chuckled softly, the pair reaching the colossal door to the support studio where Izuku placed the machine back down and pounded on it three times, turning away from it and continuing on his walk with Getafix, "Perhaps you'd give Obelix a run for his gold, given your natural intelligence and analysis skills."

"I-I could?" Izuku asked with a stutter, his mind reeling at the fact he could possibly fight and overcome the great Obelix.

"While he had the strength to end most fights, Obelix was also known for not having the brightest of minds. I wouldn't call him dumb, by Odin, but Asterix was always the brains when it came to the two."

"I see…" Izuku said, his hand rubbing his chin, stopping suddenly as he moved his entire hand over his chin and cheeks. Getafix had stopped at this point and looked to his younger companion.

"Is something wrong, Izuku?"

"I swore I shaved yesterday, but I can finally feel some stubble already coming in!" Izuku looked to the bemused elder.

"Perhaps it may be time to 'unleash' your inner Gaul and let it grow out?" Getafix said with a smile, stroking his own beard.

"Maybe? I mean… I always wondered what I would look like with a beard, A-A small one!" Izuku said with his hands waving in front of him, "M-mom would kill me if I grew a beard just as big as yours, n-no offense, Getafix."

"None taken, my boy, though a small beard would look good on you, I think." The older man was chuckling at the antics of his grandson and the fact that while being as ridiculously strong as he is, Izuku still was fearful of the wrath of his mother.

Which was hilarious in its own way, given that even the strongest of the Gauls would also fear the scorn of a woman, be they mother or wife.

"Well, regardless, perhaps you should go shave again, just to be safe, and try not to be late for your second day!"

"I will, thanks, grandpa!" Izuku said, quickly dashing away towards the on-campus home where he and his mother lived, leaving Getafix with a bright smile on his lips before heading off towards his own home to prepare for his own day.

The druid nodded to himself, his hands behind his back with a smile still on his lips as his thoughts went back to what else he needed to do today.

"Well, now!" All Might shouted to get everyone's attention, the number one hero smiling brightly as he looked over his current class. Even if it was his first day on the job as a teacher, to see such promising young students ready to not only take up the mantle of heroism but perhaps even surpass himself one day brought a warm feeling through his body.

Even his scar wasn't hurting as bad today, so that was a good omen right there!

"They say that the costume makes the hero, and Looking upon you all, I can say you definitely look the part!" The blonde man rose his finger up into the air, still with his signature smile on his lips, "Now, from here on out, all nineteen of – hold on a moment."

All Might stopped his speech, causing a few people to look at their teacher with a confused look on their faces as the pro hero's raised finger was now waving about as if he was… counting something?

"I was told there were nineteen students in Class 1-A, yet I only count eighteen… is there someone still in the change rooms-"

"I'm sorry I'm late!"

A voice called out from behind the teacher, who had turned around to identify who spoke, and what he saw nearly shocked the old hero.

Running up to the group was a teenager built rather large, a body type similar to that of a professional weightlifter, the complete opposite to the bodybuilder-like physique that he had maintained for much of his pro hero career.

The boy was wearing what looked like a compression suit, or more like pants and sleeveless top combo that clung tightly to his body, and while showing off his 'gut' a little more, it was apparent the boy was 'built', judging by his massive arms and leg muscles. Though the pants and chest were very basic in design, similar to the bright yellow belt around his waist, the late student was wearing what looked like gloves made of tightly bound leather around his lower arms and fists, along with a similar design to his footwear, which gave off a sort of… 'nordic' look to them, given All Might's lack of knowledge in regards to the European cultures.

The boy was wearing a tiara or band around his head, covered up mainly by his unruly green curls with two prominent wings flared back and out from his head.

The late student finally reached All Might, not even panting from how fast he had been jogging as he bowed low, "I-I'm sorry I'm l-late, All Might, sir! I had to stop at the support department because they hadn't finished everything for my hero costume! H-Here!" A piece of paper was pushed out towards All Might, who had taken it with a perked-up eyebrow, reading it for a moment and the smile on his face returning in full.

"I see! Well, young Midoriya, you are lucky that you were able to make it before I started to explain what we were going to do." The number one hero slapped the almost as tall student on the shoulder in good faith, "Just next time, please inform me before leaving and running off to the support department, understood?"

With a beaming smile that All Might thought would blind him, Midoriya nodded his head, "Y-Yes, sir!"

"Good lad, now go and join your classmates, and we can begin!"

No sooner as he had said that, the green-haired boy rejoined the rest of the class, all the while All Might watched the latecomer interact with his classmates, with a very predominant blush on his cheeks when he addressed his female classmates. In the back of his mind, however, and with a practiced smile to hide his shock with what was written on the note from Power Loader.

"Why does young Midoriya need 'limiter' bracelets?"

Izuku sighed softly, his hand idly rubbing his stomach as he looked on in deep thought, staring at the building with his mind racing with the ways to possibly overcome the obstacle before him.

It was a simple exercise; a 'hero' team infiltrates a building used by the 'villain' team who had taken an explosive device. The goal? For the heroes, it was to either subdue the villains or reach the bomb and simply touch it, all within a fifteen-minute time limit.

While under normal circumstances, this would be a simple two versus two event, because of the odd number, there had to be a team of three.

And sure enough, Izuku and his partner were the ones to face them.

"Kero, what are you thinking about, Midoriya?" asked Tsuyu, standing beside the more giant teenager with a finger on her chin and looking up at him.

"Hm-what? Oh! Sorry, Asui-"

"Tsuyu, I told you to call me by my first name while we had lunch yesterday, kero." the frog girl interrupted, staring at him blankly with almost a threatening aura around her for just a brief moment that caused Izuku to gulp.

"R-Right, Ts-Tsuyu! Sorry… but um, to answer your question, I'm just trying to figure out the best way we can go about this." Izuku had crossed his arms over his chest now, his arms flexed slightly while he did so, which Tsuyu had taken notice of, "And it's kinda my fault that we got stuck in a three on two match up."

"I wouldn't say it's your fault, kero, given how strong you are."

"I-I guess, still though, given who we are facing, we need to be careful." Izuku said, a finger gently tapping on his muscled arm, "Ashido's Quirk makes her quick, and I'd hate to see what it would do to skin contact. While Iida's is literal speed, given the tight corridors we saw on the video feed from the previous matches, it would be hard for him to go all out."

Tsuyu gently nodded, looking towards the building now, "Then there's Bakugo; his explosions are going to be a real pain, kero."

"Y-yea, and I dunno why, but he was staring at me all the while in the viewing room."

Tsuyu looked back to her fellow green-haired teammate, "Is he someone you know, kero?"

"I don't think so? Even if I did, I haven't been around anyone my age for a long time, so no idea if he would even remember me."

"You are kinda hard to miss, Midoriya." Tsuyu bluntly said, knocking Izuku out of his thoughts and causing him to chuckle slightly in embarrassment with his hand rubbing the back of his head.

"Y-yea… I can understand that." Izuku said softly before looking back to the building, his eyes shifting as he put that brain of his to work, "Hey Tsuyu, when we were talking about your Quirk yesterday, you said that you had the abilities of frogs, right?"

"Not all, but a good many of them, kero." Tsuyu spoke softly, "Some are pleasant, like being able to jump far and high, while others, like being able to eject my stomach or secrete mucus that is acidic like Mina's, but nothing crazy like dissolving cement…." She said while fiddling with her gloves, looking a little embarrassed by those particular 'powers' of her quirk, "Are not the most pleasant."

"I think they are awesome!" Izuku blurted out with a smile on his lips when Tsuyu looked up to him, "Not every quirk has its positive benefits, but those two can help you out in a pinch! If you need to swallow something important like a film roll or something, you can easily bring it back up later! And the mucus could be used as a surprise attack if you got cornered or something!"

The look of pure joy as Izuku kept thinking of positive ways for those aspects of her quirk to be helpful, Tsuyu kept blushing more and more as she watched him ramble on until finally poking his cheek with a single finger, instantly knocking him out of his mutter storm, "You were asking about my abilities with my quirk?"

"O-Oh right, sorry… I was curious if you can stick to walls?"

"Kero, yes I can; it was one of the first things I worked on when my quirk came in." Tsuyu spoke while looking back at the building, "Ah, I see, I should climb along the walls on the outside of the building while you go inside and provide a distraction?"

"Exactly, I have a feeling that Bakugo is going to come after me and rather keep him busy, while Ashido and Iida think you're in the building somewhere and search it for you."

"And then I can locate the bomb from the outside and win us the exercise, kero, good thinking Midoriya." Tsuyu said with a very gentle smirk on her lips, which Izuku had noticed he kept staring at her in wonderment, given the fact it was rare for Tsuyu, by her own admission, to show off any facial changes.

The pair were silent as they had their plan in order and waited out for the buzzer to sound off so they could start. As the silence continued, it was broken by a ribbit coming from the girl as she kept staring at the building, but it caused Izuku to look at her as she spoke.

"Midoriya, I'm curious about something. Are you from France?"

"W-What? N-No, I was born and raised here in Japan; w-why do you ask?"

"Well, Aoyama said your Quirk's name was French for "Green Gaul", whatever that is, and assumed you were of French descent."

"A-ah, sorry for the mistake." Izuku chuckled gently, "My Q-Quirk actually manifested while on a trip to France when I was super young, and when I was coming up with a name for it, I figured I should pay homage to that trip that way."

"I see, I also hear they like to eat frog's legs over in France, so I was wondering if you'd be interested, kero?"

"O-Oh! No, I never had frog's legs before, Asui-Tsuyu! Sorry, but I wouldn't mind trying some!" Izuku beamed a smile at her, clearly embarrassed for already repeating her last name. But, he suddenly saw the brightness on her cheeks deepen to a soft pink, and when he was about to say something, his mind stopped as the realization of what she may have been implying just hit him.

"Good to know, Kero." was all Tsu said, walking off towards the testing building as the buzzer for the exercise to start had gone off, and by Odin, Izuku was doing his best not to stare at her swaying hips.
