8: The School for the Greatest Heroes - 4: Combat Training! Spider-Man Vs Plastique!
Overhaul was not the most patient of people.
When Kurono had told him that he knew someone that could help them, he had expected that person to be there within a few minutes. But the reality of the situation was that it took a full day before Kurono returned with an old man in tow. The man that was led into his office wore a clean, sharp suit with a blue necktie, and sported a bushy mustache and gear-shaped goggles.
"I'm told," said the portly man, "That you wished to make use of my services?"
Overhaul frowned at the man, then looked at Kurono, "Is this some sort of joke?"
"Only if you find it funny," the man said, "I assure you that this man can help us. He is, after all, a man that can replicate Quirks."
Overhaul's eyes widened above his plague mask, "Replicate?"
The rotund man chuckled and removed his hat in a sort of mock bow, "One of my greatest achievements, however, it is not my true masterpiece," he smiled widely, his blue eyes glinting behind the goggles.
"I have yet to...unleash my true magnum opus upon this world, as one would commonly say." He chuckled as he seated himself, much to Chisaki's annoyance as he hadn't given him leave to sit, "And this young man tells me that you have a rather...unique situation, and an even more so opportunity."
Overhaul frowned, but relented, "In a manner of speaking...yes."
The man spread his hands out in front of himself, "Then this may yet prove to be beneficial for the both of us!" He grinned that perverse grin again, a sight that made Overhaul cringe internally. There was something off-putting about this man.
"The problem is that the subject that I was using for materials is beyond my reach now," Overhaul said, "And none of my men think it wise to make a move on her location."
The man nodded, "Ah, yes, that absurd Hero school, U.A.," the man scoffed, "Oh, but what a treasure trove of potential crops." He sighed almost dreamily, "If I could harvest samples from the students there, I could almost die a happy man."
Kurono saw the chance to bait the proverbial hook, "Then why not help us retrieve our asset?" He asked, and Overhaul noticed that there was a slight tremor in his voice: he was afraid of this man. "You have superior forces, and many of them are loyal to you to a fault. Help us secure the girl, and then your forces can harvest as many samples as you want, and even strike a blow against U.A.'s famous reputation."
"Hmm-hmm-hmm," The man chuckled in his throat, "You certainly know how to tickle an old man's fancy, my young friend." He said as he reached up to twirl his mustache, "As it so happens, the man that I currently work for is planning an attack on the school soon." He smiled, "And my beautiful children will finally have their chance to shine. If, by chance, this...asset of yours crosses my men's path, then I shall, indeed, make a bid for her," he sat back and laced his fingers together, "Provided that you can make it worth my whiles."
Overhaul sighed, "If it's money you want, then - "
"Money is not what I desire," the old man interrupted. Overhaul gripped his hands together in silent anger: he hated being interrupted. "You already know what exotic delights can sate my palate: Quirks. Powerful and unique Quirks." He pointed a finger at the younger man, "Yours."
Overhaul nearly choked, "You want...," he controlled himself quickly, "You want to take my Quirk from me?"
"I do not have that type of power," the man said, "What I meant was that I want a sample of your DNA with your active Quirk genes." He clarified. "I've heard a great deal about you from those that fear your reach...Kai Chisaki." Overhaul's eyes narrowed, "The young head of the Eight Precepts of Death Yakuza group, a dying breed of criminals that have been smuggling Trigger, and a...Quirk Erasing Bullet, I believe?"
Kurono flinched, "I never told you any of that!" He shouted at the man while he laughed.
"Hohohaha, I have eyes and ears all across the world, my dear boy," he chuckled, "My particular Quirk has allowed me to establish quite the spy network these last two hundred plus years," the two younger men's eyes widened, "I have seen Quirks from the very first child and all the way up until this point, and I will say that yours is quite possibly the most powerful one I've seen to date."
He smiled widely as those beady eyes leered at Overhaul. "A Quirk that can disassemble and reassemble living and nonliving matter on the cellular level without any adverse effects! And your subject, a child if I'm to believe what I've been told, has the power to rewind a person's body to the point of non-existence if she were to lose control. But you're engineering her Quirk genes to target other Quirk genes and wipe them out." He smiled, "Such a marvelous Quirk this little darling has!"
Overhaul felt his sanity slipping, "You know a little too much for my liking, old man," he began to slip off his gloves, "As much as I may need your services, I can't just let you walk around with that information."
"Indeed, were I in your position, I'd want to silence me as well," the man's grin only grew wider, almost impossibly so.
"I'm glad we can understand each other," Overhaul started to rise. "Don't worry, though, I'm told there's only a minor bit of discomfort."
The man chuckled once again, "Oh, you misunderstand me, my dear boy," he placed his hat on his head and glared at him from beneath the rim with a wide smile on his face, "I was merely stalling for time, you see?"
Kurono's eyes widened as he turned a fraction of a second too slow. "Boss!" His shout came too late as a large warp gate appeared behind Chisaki.
Overhaul turned and was suddenly grabbed from behind by multiple hands that had appeared out of the shadowy portal, "What the hell - !" The hands holding him grasped his wrists, and shoved him down onto his desk as another appeared and forced his head down.
"Now now, boys, do be careful to keep his hands from touching anything," the man said in a jovial tone as he rose from his seat, "And Mister Kurono, was it?" He looked at the white robed man, "I wouldn't try anything if I were you." His sickening smile was now impossibly wide, "My children are more than strong enough without their Quirks to snap your master's neck at the snap of my fingers." He strode forward, taking a syringe from his pocket, "Now, then," he moved around the table and stood directly above Overhaul's neck, "I'm afraid that there will be a little morethan some minor discomfort."
As Overhaul felt the needle against his skin, the man then whispered, "Oh, that reminds me," his eyes glinted balefully behind his glasses, "All for One sends his regards."

The next day when Izuku tried to go to school, he found out that Eri was having absolutely none of it. "But Daddy, I don't want you to go!" The child whined frantically whilst holding onto his pants leg, refusing to let go. "You went to school yesterday! Why do you have to go there again?"
"Well, I have to if I'm going to become a Hero," Izuku said, trying to reason with the child, but she didn't seem to want to accept it. He was going to be late at this rate, even though he was sure the teachers would understand. At least he hoped that they would.
"Eri," Hisashi began, "You really shouldn't - " But a hard look from his son stopped him. Apparently anything concerning Eri was stepping across his son's line.
Inko decided to step in, "What he means, Dear, is that going to school is very important to young people," she said, "You know the lessons I've been giving you every day? Teaching you to read and write, mathematics and other things?"
Eri gave a shy nod.
"Well, Izuku's doing that, too, just more of it so that he can be a Hero, and a better father to you, Dear," she said, "So what do you say? Won't you let him go?"
Eri's lip trembled, and Izuku noticed that her little horn began to glow faintly, "But...I get scared when Daddy's not with me." She said in that tiny little voice of hers that completely broke through Izuku's walls.
Taking a deep breath, he leaned over and picked the little girl up in his arms, "You can come with me," he said with a smile then tapped her on the nose, attempting to sound stern, "But just for today, alright?"
Eri's eyes brightened, "Really?!"
"Yes, really," Izuku said, laughing at the sudden change in her mood, "But it's gonna be scary. We have Combat Training today."
As Eri smiled happily, he noticed her horn's glow had dimmed down to nothing again, though it's size had increased slightly. [I hope Mei get's that prototype ready soon.] He said, afraid that the little girl's power would run out of control again.
Inko fidgeted nervously, "Are you sure that's a good idea, Sweetie?" She asked, more concerned for her grandchild, "Won't the fighting be too much for her?" Both she and Hisashi knew that the more stressed the child became, the more energy she built up in her horn.
Izuku sighed while giving her a slow nod, "Probably, but Kyōka will be there in case things go badly," he told her, Eri's face lighting up again at the mention of her second favorite person, "She knows how to keep her calm."
"I need to go on patrol," Hisashi said as he grabbed up his bag containing his Costume. As he made for the door, he leaned down to his son's ear, "For what it's worth, you're doing a better job than I ever could."
"That's because I'm here for her." Izuku snapped quietly, "And I always will be."
Hisashi nodded, "Good." He opened the door...and was met with a boisterous pink-haired mechanic.
"Whoa! Perfect timing!" Mei said loudly as she was about to knock. Looking Hisashi up and down, she frowned a little, "You know, you've grown since the last time I saw you, and that was only yesterday!"
Hisashi was at a loss, "Uh..."
"Mei, I'm over here," Izuku popped his head out from behind his father. "That's...well, that's my dad."
Mei just laughed, "Huh, no wonder you look so alike!" She said before inviting herself in, damn the man standing at the door. "But whatever! Hey, Spider-guy, I got those new capture items for you!" She pulled a large brown box out from behind her back, "You're gonna love these!"
Izuku looked at her, "Capture...Oh! You mean my Power Cuffs!"
The girl nodded in approval, "That's a super cute name for this new baby!" Mei grinned widely, "And super simple to make!" She reached inside the box and pulled out a black band with blue highlights along it, "Just slap this over the wrist of whoever you want, and it's bye-bye Quirk. Super safe, super effective, and super strong! It'd take fifty pounds of C4 to bust these babies up!"
"It's pretty," said the little girl in his arms while Mei smiled at her.
Izuku smiled and took the one that Mei was holding, "I had these made for you, Sweetie." He said, and let one curl around her wrist. It fit itself snugly around her tiny wrist, and lit up, the blue lights turning green, signifying that it was working. "Now you won't have to worry about your Quirk hurting people until you learn to control it." He said as her horn began to shrink down, and the faint glow died out.
"The best part is that these babies use thermal batteries," Mei piped up, "You never have to charge them. You can safely wear them forever if you want to, and your own body heat will keep them charged up!"
Izuku smiled at her, "Now that was a great idea!"
Mei practically glowed under his praise, "Wasn't it?" She beamed, "Anyway, I've got one more delivery to make, and then it's back to work!" She set the box down, turned and barged out the door, "Lemme know when you wanna make some more babies!"
Izuku just grinned as she left, having grown slightly used to her over abundance of friendliness.
His mother, on the other hand, was staring at her son, "Now, by babies, she doesn't actually mean..." the woman started to ask.
Her son blanched, "She means her inventions, Mom," Izuku said hurriedly before taking out his phone to check the time, "Oh, shoot! We gotta go!" He reached into the box, grabbed a handful of the cuffs to stuff into his pocket, and rushed out passed his father, "See you guys tonight!"
Hisashi looked after his son, and then smiled at his wife, "I thought you said he didn't take much after me?"
"Well," Inko giggled, "That rushing around thing he does definitely came from you."

As she had the day before, Kyōka was waiting for him just outside the school, tapping her foot impatiently. When she saw him, however, her irritation immediately melted away since he was carrying little Eri on his shoulders. "Morning you two." She waved at the little girl on his shoulders, who waved back slowly. "I take it she didn't wanna let you go this morning?"
Izuku chuckled bashfully. "Yeah." He said, "Sorry to make you wait on us."
"It's cool," she turned and headed inside the school with him falling in behind her. "Homeroom doesn't start for another five minutes, so we should just make it before Īda gives us a ticket for tardiness."
Izuku grinned, "He can do that?" He laughed.
Kyōka giggled, "Would if he could."
"Daddy, what's a ticket?" Eri asked.
Kyōka looked up at the little girl with a smile, "It's nothing you need to worry about, Sweetie," she said, then leaned over to Izuku's shoulder, "Is she gonna be okay, though? Her Quirk - "
Izuku shook his head. "Mei delivered the power dampening cuffs this morning, and Eri's wearing one of them," he pointed to the band on the little girl's wrist, "She couldn't use her Quirk now even if she wanted to." He smiled, "And it's totally safe. None of the build up she felt when we were teaching her how to use her Quirk."
Kyōka gave a little sigh of relief, "Good."
The trio got odd looks as they walked down the hall, most of them staring at Eri. While most of the second and third year students knew about Eri from the two months that the little girl had been on campus, she was completely unknown to the first year students. And all of those eyes on her were making the poor little girl shrink in on herself more, or at least hide behind Izuku's wild hair. "They're all looking at me."
Izuku looked up at her, "It's just because you're such a cute little girl," he told her, bar telling her that it was an odd thing for a high schooler to be toting around a five-year-old little girl alongside a pretty girl his own age.
Kyōka was having the same thoughts, "They probably think we're your mommy and daddy."
The little girl blinked. "But he is my daddy." Eri put in confusedly.
Izuku just laughed at the silly banter as they arrived at their classroom. "Eri, I want you to be on your best behavior," he knelt down and let her get off of his shoulders, "The people we're about to meet are my classmates, and they're all really nice."
"Ah, not all of them," Kyōka reminded him, the ends of her jacks sticking up threateningly, "And so help me if he tries anything with her - !"
The boy chuckled, "Aw, come on, even Kacchan's not that..." He started to think for a moment before horrifying images of Eri being terrorized by the explosive blond entered his head, "You know what? Never mind."
Kyōka smiled at him, "That's what I thought." She giggled, reaching down to take hold of Eri's left hand while Izuku took the right, "Now, let's introduce Eri to our class."
"Excuse me," said a voice behind them, "But this is Class 1-A, right?"
Izuku turned and saw a tall, thin student standing off to his left. In a way, he resembled Aizawa, but there wasn't that tiredness that Aizawa seemed to always have going for him, and he had light purple hair that stood straight up similarly to Kirishima's, only it was clear he didn't use hair gel.
Izuku offered him a smile, "Yeah, this is 1-A," he told him, "Are you the new student?"
The boy nodded, "Yeah, Mister Aizawa came by the dorms last night and told me to pack my things." He shrugged, "Not how I thought I'd get a spot in the Hero Course, but I won't complain."
Kyōka nodded to him, "You're an improvement over the guy that got kicked out, I'll say that much," she said, "Come on, Aizawa's probably on his way, so we'd better hurry up." She slid the door open.
"YOU'RE LATE!" Ten'ya Īda shouted loudly at the newly formed quartet as they entered the room, frightening Eri so badly that she jumped right up into Kyōka's arms, "Miss Jirō, who is that child? It's against school regulations to - "
Kyōka was having none of it. No one scared her little unicorn and got away with it! Her jacks were flying before the Speedster could finish, and jabbed him right in both of his ears. "Don't you start at me on regulations, Īda! Look what you've done! You've scared her half to death, you engine blockhead!"
Izuku could've sworn he saw Īda vibrating from how angry Kyōka was when she struck him. "Is she always like that?" The new student asked.
He smirked. "Only when it concerns Eri," Izuku said, "Sorry, I'm Izuku Midoriya." He reached out his hand.
"Hitoshi Shinsō," the teen said shortly while shaking the boy's hand.
"Say, Midoriya?" Tsuyu Asui said from her seat, "If you don't mind my asking, who's that little girl you brought with you?"
Mina was staring at the little girl with a huge smile, "Yeah, she's super adorable!"
[Well, here we go,] the boy thought before letting out a breath, "She's my adopted daughter."
"She's so cute!" Tōru Hagakure gushed loudly.
Kirishima was grinning, "Super manly that you took a kid in, Midori-bro, but wouldn't it have been better if your mom adopted her?"
Katsuki was staring at the little girl himself, but didn't say anything.
The earphone jack user looked at him, "You remember yesterday when I said that Green Bean here took a bullet for a kid?" She asked and patted Eri's hair. "This is her, and her name is Eri," Kyōka put in, withdrawing her jacks from Ten'ya's ears, allowing the boy to slump over, "So she's pretty much claimed him as her father-figure." She turned to the rest of the class,"She's pretty shy, too, so don't crowd her, okay, guys?" A pointed glare landed on Īda and Bakugō respectively.
"Okay!" Was the collective answer.
"Aw, man!" Mina pouted, "And here I thought we could be horn-buddies!" She whined as Kyōka took her seat. Izuku and Hitoshi followed suit, the new student taking the seat that Mineta had left which was behind the verdette.
Eri was quick to climb down and join Izuku at his desk, much to Kyōka's disappointment, "Hmph, still a daddy's little girl, huh?"
"Jealous?" Izuku teased.
She blushed, [Yes, yes I am, dammit!] Kyōka thought to herself.
But before it could go any further the classroom door burst open, "I. AM. HERE!" All Might shouted as he burst through the door, "Coming through the door like a Hero!"
Any other day, Kyōka would have nearly geeked out at the presence of All Might in the Classroom, but her eyes darted over to Izuku and Eri, the former patting the latter's back in comfort as she hid her face in his shoulder. The rest of the class got loud in their excitement as the No.1 Hero marched himself to the front of the class.
"Welcome, my dear young students, to your first official day of the Hero Course!" He said boisterously, taking in the classroom, "As you can all see, we have some new faces with us today." He said as he took note of not only Shinsō but Eri as well as she say with Izuku.
He smiled wider than ever as he turned his eyes toward Shinso, "Welcome, Young Shinsō, to Class 1-A's Hero Course," he smiled at the boy, "I was absolutely delighted to find out that you had accepted the transfer to the Hero Course, and I hope that you will be with us for the remainder of your time here!"
Hitoshi rose and bowed to the man, "Thank you, Sir."
The smiling Hero then cast his eyes on the little girl still hiding in her father's shoulder, "And while I am unaware of the details that brought her here today: welcome to Class 1-A, Little Eri, I hope you'll enjoy your time with us today." He said, smiling widely at the little girl as she came out from hiding.
Izuku chuckled, "What do we say, Eri?"
"Um, th-thank y-you v-very mu-much, Sir?" The girl floundered, but it was good enough for All Might and the rest of the class.
Kyōka sputtered out a laugh, "She's even developed your stutter!" She laughed while the rest of their female classmates cooed over the girl.
Mina looked like she was having a heartattack, "Oh my gosh, please let me hold her!" She pleaded with her hands out toward the pair..
All Might laughed loudly, "Now now, Young Ashido! We have to get on with today's lesson!" He reminded the pink-skinned girl as she settled down with deeper pout, "Here at U.A. we believe in the most practical of approaches, so that means we're going out beyond the shallow end, and diving head first into the deep end!" He picked up a large card from the desk, "Which means...COMBAT TRAINING!"
"Yes!" Kirishima shouted, activating his Quirk on his arms, "This is my kinda class!"
Bakugō's palms smoldered and crackled, "About damned time!"
"YES INDEED!" All Might shouted in agreement, holding up some sort of remote, "However! Before we get started, you all seem to be missing something that is an absolute must for being a Hero!" He pressed the button, and the wall on the West side of the room started to move. "Because what Hero goes into battle...without their very own unique Costume!" He grinned, "Everyone, please take your suits, and head to the locker rooms to get changed. And then you will make your way to Training Field Gamma! Don't dawdle!" With that he zipped out of the room and down the hall like a rocket.

Izuku felt bad for Shinsō.
Given that he was recently transferred, he didn't have a Costume to change into, even though the school did provide him with a bullet proof vest for protection, he had little to nothing that would help him unless his Quirk was powerful, which Izuku doubted since he was passed up and placed into General Studies. But then again, he might not have a Quirk that was suited for combat, but no less powerful.
Meanwhile, as he was getting dressed, he could feel the stares of all the other boys in the locker room with him. As Kyōka had once found out, Izuku's upper body, his back and chest areas, were covered in scars. Not just any scars, either. Burn marks. No one was brave enough to say anything, however. His Costume, on the other hand...
"Jeez, Midoriya, that's one serious Costume," Denki Kaminari said as Izuku finished pulling the top half over his head, and fastened his utility belt to his waist. He then pulled on the gauntlets with his improved Web Shooters installed, and flexed the clawed fingers. "I mean, dude! You look like you're ready for a hell of a throw down!"
Izuku looked at his classmate with his usual friendly smile, "Well I figured that I'd have to be a complete idiot to underestimate anyone here." He said to the ElectrificationQuirk wielder, "Anyone here could be dangerous," he nodded to Denki, then cast his eyes toward Katsuki, who sneered at him, "Or deadly." He acknowledged him with a nod, "So before going into this lesson I figured that I'd damn well better be prepared to go to war."
Kirishima whistled, "Now that's a real man for ya," he said, "And thanks for the respect all around. Both you and Baku-bro look like Pros already."
Izuku stole a glance at his former friend and took note of the grenade shaped bracers on Katsuki's arms, [Those cannot be just for show.] He thought fearfully, [If anything, I bet he's figured out how to store up his nitro-sweat for one massive release of firepower.] He reasoned before pulling on his mask.
The moment he did the rest of the boys all gasped, "Hey, I recognize that suit now!" Rikidō Satō yelped, "You're the one that fought with that B-Rank Villain, and put him away!"
Ten'ya immediately got the wrong idea, "Midoriya, how could you!?" He demanded angrily, "I thought you were a decent sort, but you resorted to conducting Vigilantism?!"
"Of course not!" Izuku shouted, almost sounding angry. "I was given permission to fight so I could protect my family!"
Kirishima looked at the Speedster, "Dude, seriously not cool," the red-haired Hardening Quirk wielder frowned, "Think about stuff before you jump to conclusions and just blurt things out!"
"I..." Ten'ya floundered, looking from where Izuku had his back turned to him while Kirishima just shook his head, "My apologies..."
Izuku finished arming himself, making sure to equip some of his Power Cuffs to his belt and moved out of the locker room where he found Kyōka and the other girls waiting on him with Eri.
"Daddy!" It didn't take his Spider-Sense to know that he was going to be bull-rushed as soon as he was out the door. Eri practically flew right into his arms the moment she saw him.
"Whoa, that's Midoriya?" Tōru said in a hushed tone to Mina, "Talk about intimidating!"
"No kidding," Mina whispered back with a mischievous grin on her face, "Kinda hot, though."
"Very," Tōru agreed with a giggle.
Kyōka wanted to scream at them with her collar plugged in. [Calm down, Girl,] she told herself, [It's not like he's not one the market...but God, why can't he take a hint?] She sighed in slight frustration.
"Your Costume looks really amazing, Midoriya," Tsuyu said, "I know that frogs are technically a spider's worst enemy, but I wouldn't want to tangle with you."
Izuku smiled beneath his mask, "I think I'll take that as a compliment," he said, and looked over at Kyōka as he noticed the choker around her neck, "Is that the new choker?" He asked, seeing that it had a gemstone on it now. There was a rhombus-shaped purple-red ruby at its center now.
Kyōka smiled at him, "Sure is," she grinned, "Stronger, and lighter. The perfect thing to blast someone with a sound wave." She said and Izuku realized that it must have been the other delivery that Mei was rushing off to make earlier that morning.
"It's looks way better than what I was able to slap together," Izuku admitted, "What happened to the original?"
Kyōka giggled, "This is the original, Greenie," she reached up and touch the stone at the center, "Power Loader and Mei just slimmed it down for me. Everything else was left alone."
Momo was also admiring her Support Item, "That's a lovely stone you've added to it," the young heiress said, "A purple-red ruby, isn't it? Isn't your birthday in August, though?" She asked as Kyōka gained a slight blush to her cheeks. A moment later Momo realized her mistake. "Erm, ahem, never mind," she said much to the girl's relief while Izuku looked confused, "Come along, we shouldn't keep our teacher waiting!"
Izuku nodded, turning toward the testing area with Kyōka walking at his side, "Say, where's Miss Uraraka?" He asked, noticing that she was the only girl not present.
Kyōka blushed, "Uh, she...she had a little...wardrobemalfunction." She said, remembering how embarrassed the girl had been when she tried to get her suit on, but ended up having to strip completely naked for it to actually fit. [Poor girl.] She thought almost enviously over the girl's drool-worthy curves. "By the way, I noticed that you act a little differently when you're in Costume."
Izuku just shrugged, "I just feel a bit more confident when I wear this." He said which made the girl laugh while they walked toward the testing area, then he looked at her with his suit's glowing green eyes, "Kyōka, can you do something for me?"
Her brow rose, "Uh, sure ...what is it?"
He leaned in close to her ear, causing a blush to rise to her cheeks, "Kacchan has a huge pair of braces on his wrists," she frowned, not quite understanding what he was getting at, "I think they're meant to store up a huge amount of his nitro-sweat so he can fire off a large-scale explosion," now she understood, and the idea made her face go incredibly pale, "If you have to face him, then watch out for those things. If he's got enough stored up, it could easily take down a building."
Kyōka felt like she was going to be sick, "You're kidding, right?" She pleaded, knowing just how dangerous the blond was from failed attack on Izuku she had managed to stop the day before.
He shook his head, "Not about this." He asked as they stepped out into the light. "So please, if you face him, be careful." She nodded, making a promise to herself to not only use her Quirk on the blond without hesitation, but to make sure she put him down in one shot if she had to fight him.
Behind them came the rest of their classmates, and Kyōka was able to see just what Izuku meant when she caught sight of Bakugō's suit. He looked deranged and dangerous to an extreme degree. "Are those grenades on his belt?" She asked him in a hushed tone.
Izuku seemed to think so and nodded, "If you're pitted against him, he always leads off with a right haymaker." He frowned in the ashen blond's direction, hoping that whoever his opponent was, was tough enough to handle him.
Eri was looking around at everyone in their Hero Costumes, "They all look so pretty!" She had a ghost of a smile on her face that Izuku absolutely loved.
"Indeed they do, Young Eri!" All Might boomed as he suddenly appeared on the scene, "All of you look absolutely fantastic! Real Heroes in the making!"
"Oh, wow!" The sound of Ochako's voice drifted to his ears. "Who's that in the purple and green?"
"That's Midoriya, Ochako," Tsuyu said, whose Costume was just as tight as Ochako's seemed to be, "Couldn't you tell from the way Eri's clinging to him?"
Izuku turned around...and was eternally thankful for his mask. There was absolutely no way that he would have kept himself from lighting up like a Christmas tree after seeing how the girl was dressed. Mina and Momo's suits had been revealing, both showing off a fair amount of skin, but Ochako's suit left nothing to the imagination.
"Oh, dear god..." The eyes on his mask widened as he whimpered before turning away.
Kyōka couldn't resist, "Like what you see, Spidey?" She asked so quietly that no one but him could hear her.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" He roared.
The girl blasted out a laugh. "Oh, I wish I could see your face!" She said, wheezing with laughter while Izuku fumed.
"All Might, Sir," Ten'ya's voice shouted out from a fully armored suit, "This appears to be the same area we used for the entrance exams. Will we be using it for today's lesson?"
"Right you are, Young Īda!" All Might said, "As I said earlier while in the classroom, today we will be conducting a type of indoor combat training." He said, gesturing to a box with a rounded hole in the top of it. "The training will be undertaken in teams of two, meaning that you will also be undergoing teamwork exercises. Each team will be decided by drawing a random lot from this box, those with matching lots will be teammates. One team will be acting as the Hero Team, and, of course the opposing team will be acting as the Villain Team, which I will be choosing at random as well."
Ten'ya seemed confused by that, "Wouldn't it be better to pair us up with someone that would compliment our strengths and us theirs?" He asked.
Izuku decided to answer that one, "Think about it, Īda," he said goodnaturedly, their earlier confrontation all but forgotten, "Whenever a Villain attacks, the Hero never knows who's gonna be on scene to help them out. For example, if All Might was dispatched, he could run into Endeavor, who doesn't play well with others, or Best Jeanist, who's good at supporting others."
"Right you are, Young Midoriya," All Might praised the young man, "When out in the field, it is imperitive that you are able to work with whomever you might meet." He then looked to the rest of the class, "Are there any other questions before we begin?"
"Sir, what determines a win?" Ten'ya asked.
"Can't I just blow the other team up?" Bakugō asked.
"We don't have to worry about getting expelled if we fail like in Aizawa's test, do we?" Tsuyu asked.
"Isn't my cape magnifique?" Aoyama asked.
All Might was nearly overwhelmed by the questions but just barely managed to keep up, "A victory is determined by capturing the opposing team, or the mission objective target." He managed to answer Iida before turning to Katsuki, "Young Bakugō, this lesson may include combat, but blowing up your classmates will only get you a one way ticket to Tartarus." He looked at Tsuyu and patted her head, "And of course not, Young Asui, how could I threaten you like that?" He then flashed a huge grin and a thumbs up at Aoyama, "By the way, Young Aoyama, your cape is absolutely fabulous!"
Kyōka snorted, "Wow, he actually got all that?"
"No.1 Hero for a reason, remember?" Izuku muttered as All Might began lining them up for the drawings.

"Darn it," Kyōka looked down at her slip of paper in disappointment. She was hoping to be paired up with Izuku.
Denki winked at her, "Aw, come on, beautiful, I'm not that bad!" He said with a friendly smile in her direction.
Kyōka gave him a less-than-impressed glare, "Uh-huh, just don't fry me, Thunderdolt." The boy wilted slightly from her insult.
"And now that everyone has teamed up!" All Might revealed two more boxes, "We will now select the first team to enter into the Battle Trial!" He plunged his hands into the boxes, Villains on his right, Heroes on his left, "The first teams to show us their stuff will be...THESE GUYS!"
He held up Team-A as the Hero Team, which was Izuku's team, and, to the boy's growing horror, Team-D for the Villain Team, which meant that they would be facing Katsuki Bakugō right off the bat. A small explosion off to his right caught his attention as he glanced over and saw his former friend sneering at him. Izuku sighed as he passed Eri over to Kyōka, "If she gets too scared, then don't let her watch, okay?"
Kyōka was looking at him with worry in her eyes, "Alright, but...are you gonna be okay with this?"
Izuku nodded slowly, "I think I can handle him." He flexed his clawed fingers, "I have a healing factor, plus I know how he fights, so I can make a strategy for myself and Shinsō to at least take him out of the fight." He said before All Might began explaining the objective of the exercise.
"Villain Team, your objective is to protect the bomb from the Hero Team by either fending them off until the fifteen minute timer runs out," All Might explained, "Or to capture the Hero Team by wrapping capture tape around them! If the fight looks like it's getting out of hand, I will step in, and I will stop both teams," He looked pointedly at Teams-A, and -D, "Do not make me step in." His smile disappeared into a hard, frightening frown as his blue eyes shone from their shadowy sockets which made the two teams flinch, even Katsuki wasn't totally unaffected.
"Hero Team, your objective is to stop the Villain Team by touching the bomb, which means you have acquired the weapon, or capture the Villain Team. If time runs out and neither has been completed, it is an automatic failure for the Hero Team." He directed Bakugo and Iida to one of the buildings, "Ten minutes will be allowed to strategize for the coming battle. Everyone into positions, please, the rest of you, follow me to the observation room to await your turns, and while we watch the battle...Young Jirō, if you please?" He called out as he noticed that the girl was lingering behind with Izuku.
She looked back and forth between them before giving out a frustrated groan. Then she turned toward the boy and stretched up on her toes to plant a kiss right where his lips would be beneath his mask. "Geh!" Startled, Izuku stiffened and backed away.
Kyōka settled back on her feet, her cheeks blazing with heat as she gave the boy a pleading look, "Please don't do anything stupid, okay?" Said the blushing girl as she turned around and carried Eri toward the observation area.
Izuku found himself staring after her, his hand rising to his mask, "Y-yeah...not stupid is good..."
"Then you'd better get your head outta the clouds," Shinsō placed his hand on his shoulder, jostling him out of his stupor, "And then you can help us figure out a way to win this thing."
Izuku shook himself, "R-right, sorry, uh...okay, first of all, tell me about your Quirk."
スパイダーマン
"Kyōka, are you mad?" Eri asked her as they made their way toward the observation area.
The girl looked at her, "No. What makes you think that, Sweetie?" She asked.
Eri blinked a few times, "Well, your face is all red, and you had the mad face on." She made a frowny face that made her laugh, "Did Daddy do something bad?"
Kyōka giggled and hugged her close, "No, he didn't, and I'm not mad at him, or anyone really," she smiled, "Just worried. Daddy has to fight a really strong person, after all."
She held her tiny fists above her head, "But Daddy's strong!" Eri said in defiance.
Kyōka didn't doubt that, but she also couldn't dispute the fact that Bakugō was going to be after him like a starving lion after a piece of meat. "You're right," she said as they entered the observation room.
It was full of monitors that showed the interior of the building that Bakugō and Īda were occupying, as well as a view of Midoriya and Shinsō, who were talking right outside the building, probably coming up with a battle plan to counter their explosive classmate.
"Man, for Shinsō to have to face Bakugō on his first day," she heard Tōru say, "That's some serious bad luck."
Kyōka chimed in, "Bakugō will be focused on Izuku," she told the invisible girl, "Those two have a history, and I doubt that he views Shinsō as a real threat, or even Izuku for that matter."
Kirishima grinned, "So they're rivals? That's so manly!"
Kyōka wanted to deny it, but the point of it all was that this really was some sort of warped rivalry between the two of them. "Forget about that for the next five minutes," Mina said with Tōru's gloves bouncing right next to her, the pink girl having a huge shit-eating-grin on her face, "We saw something I bet you thought we wouldn't see~!"
"Oh~! It was so cute of you to kiss him for good luck!" Tōru and Mina were speaking in those annoying sing-song voices. But Kyōka already had a neon blush across her cheeks.
Denki looked a little dejected, "Man, no wonder you didn't wanna pair with me!" He moaned, throwing his hand against his head.
Ochako was cupping her cheeks, "It was so sweet! I had no idea you two were a couple!"
"We're not!" Kyōka shouted over the girls, surprising them, "I mean...we're not...dating, or anything..." She muttered in utter embarrassment.
And of course, the kill shot had to come from the least of all expected shooters. "Does this mean you really are my mommy?" Eri asked as the older girl went beyond red and started sputtering worse than Izuku normally did.
Even Momo and Tsuyu cooed over that one, and Kyōka had nothing, absolutely nothing to say in her defense.
スパイダーマン
Izuku looked at Shinsō with awe, "Brainwashing?" He asked when the boy explained the nature of his Quirk.
Shinsō looked away from him, "Yeah, my Quirk probably isn't something you'd see as Heroic, I know, but - "
"That's incredible!" Izuku suddenly blurted. "You could be a great Hero with a Quirk like that!" He said, "Hostage situations, suicide attempts, you could stop those easily just by talking to them!"
Shinsō was surprised, "You...you're not afraid of my Quirk?"
"Why would I be?" The Spider asked, "You don't plan on using it on me, do you?"
Shinsō scratched the back of his head, "Well, not right this second, but - "
"And don't tell me it's not a Heroic Quirk," Spider-Man said, "There's so much good you could do with it. All you have to do is choose. You want to be a Hero using your Quirk, right?"
"Of course," the Brainwasher said.
Izuku lifted up his mask, showing him his smiling face, "Then you, Hitoshi Shinsō, can be a Hero." He grinned, and the other teen found himself fighting down his emotions, "I wish someone had said those words to me years ago, but it never happened." Izuku continued, "But recently, a...teacher said that I didn't need a Quirk to become a Hero, and that I already was one." He pulled his mask back down into place, the eyes glowing once more, "So what do you say? Ready to take that first step?"
He held out his hand. Hitoshi took hold of it, "Yeah!...So...how do we beat these guys?"
Izuku stepped back and looked at the building, "Our biggest problem is gonna be Bakugō," he said, "His Quirk is powerful, and highly destructive. He never hesitates to use it inside or outside. And those gauntlets of his, I think, store up his sweat in large amounts so, if he was desperate, he could fire off an enormous explosion. So we have to take him out first."
"Why did you say that he'd be the problem?" Shinsō asked, thinking about the other opponent they were going to have to face, "If you ask me, Īda's just as dangerous as that walking timebomb."
Izuku nodded in understanding, "Normally, you'd be right," he admitted, thinking back to the Quirk Apprehension test, "Fortunately, Īda needs time and distance to build up enough speed to be a real threat." Izuku explained, "Plus, Katsuki's going to come after us right off the bat, so Īda will be forced to stay wit the bomb." He thought for a moment, "He's smart, thought, so he'll most likely prepare the room the bomb's in so he can move around freely without having to stop for very long, or at all depending on how well he can control those engines of his."
Shinsō sighed, "I'm not sure that it's better one way or another," the teen said, "Both of them are dangerous in a straight up fight from what you've told me, but that Bakugō guy sounds like he can bring the entire building down around our ears."
It did nothing to bolster his confidence when his partner started nodding, "He could, if he wasn't careful enough," Izuku nodded, "But with him we have an advantage," he smiled at Shinsō, "He's going to come after me in particular, which mean's you'll be free to find Īda and the bomb."
Shinsō crossed his arms with skeptical look crossing his face, "You expect me to go up against a speedster?" He asked incredulously, "How?"
He saw the mask Izuku was wearing lift around his cheeks, "Simple: speedsters, all the ones that I've seen, have a habit of talking...a lot." Now Shinsō was beginning to understand. Neither Īda or Bakugō knew what his Quirk could do, and if Bakugō was going to be focused on Izuku then that gave him a chance to get Īda to respond to his voice and put him under his control long enough to secure the bomb!
"Hero Team," All Might said from their earpieces, "You may now enter the building. Good luck, my young students."
Both boys entered the building through a window on the second floor, one clad in police issue body armor, the other in a state of the art Costume armed to the teeth. Izuku passed something to Hitoshi, "If you can get close enough, slap one of these on Īda's wrist," he told him, "It's a capture weapon that shuts down the wearer's Quirk."
The teen nodded, "I noticed your little girl wearing one," he said, "There a story there?"
"She's got a dangerous Quirk, and can't control it to the point of being terrified she's going to hurt someone," Izuku explained quickly. He was already on high alert thanks to his Spider-Sense going off as soon as he stepped into the building. Katsuki was likely already on the move to intercept them as they spoke. "Be on your guard," he said to his teammate, "He's coming for us."
He reached for his belt and pulled out a Web Bomb from one of the pouches. He pressed himself against a wall as they neared a corner in the hall, pressing down on the primer...then his Spider-Sense went haywire!
Acting before he could think, he shoved Shinsō away from him. "GET BACK!" He shouted just as Bakugo blasted himself around the corner, one arm out behind him, and the other raised and ready to set off another explosion.
As Shinsō hit the floor, he covered his ears just in time as the sound of the explosion went off and a wave of heat washed over them. "Midoriya!" He called out, his ears still slightly ringing from the blast, "You alright?!"
The room was filled with smoke, but he saw two figures standing in front of him. "Yeah, my suit held up - Ugh!"
Katuski was already moving before Izuku could really recover and blasted him again, point blank in the chest. He felt something in his chest snap, a rib maybe, before the explosive teen grabbed his left wrist and whipped around at rocket speed with his explosions acting as thrusters. He was then hurled into the opposing wall with enough force to crater the wall. [Dammit,] he hissed as a fiery pain spread through his chest [I think he just broke my ribs!]
"Not so tough, now, are ya, Deku?" Katsuki said with a sneer as the green-haired teen pulled himself out of the wall and staggered a few steps, "You seriously thought that just because you've got yourself a Quirk now that you can compete with me?" The ashen blond stalked forward, explosions crackling around his hands. "Too bad you're just another bug for me to step on."
Izuku frowned at him. "Actually, I'm an arachnid," he could already feel his bones mending themselves, but more importantly, he was getting angry. He looked behind his former friend, "You know the plan, Shinsō," he said, causing the blond to sneer at him, "Find Īda and take him out!" He had managed to keep hold of the Web Bomb, "I'll take care of Kacchan myself."
Shinsō gave him a look of concern, "You sure about this?" He asked as the explosive blond, true to Izuku's prediction, was completely ignoring him for the moment, and focusing all of his attention on his teammate. Something that Shinsō found himself glad about given the crazed look in the blond's eyes.
Izuku nodded, giving him a determined look.
Shinsō just gave him a hopeless smirk, "Okay, but your girlfriend said not to do anything stupid, remember?" He didn't even wait for a response as he got to his feet and dashed around Bakugō, who didn't even bother stopping him. "Pretty sure that this counts, but good luck anyway!"
The second he cleared the battleground, Izuku lunged, throwing the bomb at Bakugo. He held up his hand and blasted it...but the vessel only broke open and spread the webbing inside all over him. "What the fuck!" Bakugo roared.
"Toodles, Thunderbomb," Izuku quipped before he ran down another hall hoping to lead his opponent away from Shinsō.
Enraged, Bakugō used both hands to incinerate the webs and rocketed after him, "Get back here ya damn nerd!"
Izuku reached for his pouches again and took out two mines, tossing them onto the walls as he rounded the corner of the hall. Katsuki flew right into them, and was shocked by powerful bolts of electricity coming from them. "GAH! YOU BASTARD!" He roared out as he blew the walls to pieces. "I'mma kill you for that!"
Despite the pain in his chest, Izuku couldn't help but laugh, "You've been trying to do that for years, Kacchan!" His voice drifted to him from the halls ahead of him, "But I'm still here, ya pyromaniac!"
"STOP CALLING ME KACCHAN!" Bakugō roared, then grinned in a manic way, "You chose your Hero name already, right, Spider-Freak?" He asked, "Well, so have I! No more Kacchan or Bakugō! From now on it's Plastique!"
"Plastic, huh?" Spider-Man's voice said in amusement, "Hope you're at least recyclable!"
Plastique growled, "Laugh all you want, you insect, but at least I'm out here in the open, and not hiding like some little bitch-ass bug like you!"
"Who's hiding?"
Plastique whipped around and was promptly punched right in the face. Eleven years of torment slammed into him, and sent the ashen blond hurtling down the hall. Before he hit the floor, Spider-Man shot two web lines against the walls and pulled back to sling himself after him. Plastique was already nearly on his feet by this time, and the Arachnid couldn't resist. "CROTCH!"
スパイダーマン
"Dude!" Kaminari cheered, "That was an epic Hurricanrana!"
Kyōka was laughing herself silly, "All Might, thanks so much for letting us in on the audio for this!" She said with genuine glee, "I am never gonna let either one of them forget this!"
"I don't think anyone will!" All Might himself was chuckling as he watched the battles progress. In truth, Izuku may have made the right move in letting Shinsō go after Īda on his own. Time was already running out, and if both of them were anywhere near Bakugō -pardon- Plastique, then one, if not both of them would more than likely suffer an injury before the game was up.
"Forget about the wrestling move," Tōru huffed, "He turned invisible again! He's stealing my shtick!"
"Frogs can camouflage, too, I think, ribbit," Tsuyu said.
"They're at it again!" Hanta Sero said with excitement.
スパイダーマン
After using his flying hurricanrana to throw Plastique to the ground, Spider-Man was on the move again as soon as he rolled to his feet, using his new Camouflage abilities to disappear.
Plastique was furious, his eyes white with anger, "You...Fucking...DEKU!" The deranged teen roared, "This is what you were waiting for, wasn't it!?" He shouted into the empty hallway. "From the time we were kids, you've always...always looked down on me!"
Hidden by his Quirk, and by the shadows, Spider-Man cocked his head, [Looked down on him?]
"You thought I was weak! That I needed your help!" Plastique continued. "Just because I fell down, you had to go and treat me like some weak little shit that needed saving!"
Suddenly it all came back to him. The day things changed between them. [That day at the creek!] He crawled down from the ceiling, staying hidden by his Quirk until the last moment as he stood in front of him...the person that used to be his friend. He shimmered into view, and took off his mask, "That's what this is about?" He asked out loud, shaking his head in disbelief, "That's why you decided to shun me...to beat me to within an inch of my life every day just to show that you could?!"
Plastique glared at him, "That's what it's always been about you fucking idiot!" He snapped angrily.
Spider-Man's right hand snapped out in a sharp punch to his nose with a satisfying crunch. The ashen blond crumpled to his knees, "GAH!" He held his face for a moment, stunned that he had taken a hit. The blood dripping from his nose brought him out of it, though, and he glared up at the Arachnid only to falter as he saw a look of pure rage on the boy's face that he had never seen before.
"You stupid...egotistical...moron!" Spider-Man roared out and ran at him, delivering a left cross to his cheek before following up with a roundhouse kick that sent him hurtling into the wall where he formed a crater as he had done to him once before.
Spider-Man started toward him at a slow, determined pace, sparks of electricity jumping across his arms, "We were four years old, Kacchan!" He snapped, "Four! Years! That's younger than Eri is right now! And you've been pissed off all this time because I was worried that my friend who, at that time, had fallen off a log that was over ten feet from a shallow creek that had rocks at the bottom, and maybe cracked his head open, or broke his neck!"
Plastique groaned as he pulled himself out of the wall, "I didn't need - !" Spider-Man was on him before he could finish.
Pulling his mask back on, Spider-Man lunged forward and drove a thunderous right hook into Plastique's gut, knocking the air out of him. But that didn't stop him from retaliating with a powerful point blank explosion to the chest that sent Spider-Man hurtling away. The shock of the explosion made his ears ring, but it also caused his body to turn the kinetic energy from the attack into more of the electrical charge he needed to end this fight.
He rose into a crouch and glared at the explosive blond, "All these years, you thought I was looking down on you!" Spider-Man shouted as he charged at Plastique again. Plastique tossed one of his grenades at him, the small explosive bursting in a bright flash, but the lenses on his mask kept the freckled teen from being blinded. "You had it so wrong, you damned idiot!" He jumped, web slinging himself into a flying kick, which Plastique barely managed to avoid.
"The hell I did!" Plastique snarled as he powered up a stronger blast, "STUN GRENADE!" His palm exploded, sending the Arachnid crashing into the wall once more. "You were always making believe that you, a Quirklessnothing, could be a Hero!" He roared. "Always getting in my way! Telling me how to act!" He yelled at the teen, "You even called me a Villain once!"
Spider-Man's right arm sparked with electricity, starting with the tips of his fingers and moving up his whole arm and moving into his chest. "That's because you acted like one!" Plastique watched as that green glow inside of his opponent spread from his chest and back, not just into one arm, but both of them as he pushed himself off of the wall. "And what makes it worse," said the angered voice of the arachnid themed trainee, "Is that you couldn't see what you were doing!"
The emblems on Spider-Man's suit began to shine in the light coming from inside of him and his green eyes glowed brighter than ever, "Listen to me...Bakugō!..." his opponent flinched, "I. Looked up. To you!" He snapped, "You were always better than me in school, so I admired you for that and tried my best to keep up with you because I knew that you would be amazing!"
"But when you got your Quirk, you started walking down a path I couldn't follow," He went on, taking a step toward the now cautious blond.
"Yeah! Because you were Quirkless!" Plastique snapped back.
"NO!" The hall filled with green lightning as Spider-Man suddenly lunged at him. Plastique was treated to hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity running through his body before he could react to defend himself. He staggered back from him, "That's just what the teachers said to encourage your aggression! They were turning you into a rabid dog that could bring them a bigger paycheck if someone with a strong Quirk came from their school!"
"Th-they saw that I was great!" The blond snarled back, and launched himself at him again. The battle then picked up pace as both tried to injure the other with powerful blasts of explosions or electricity.
スパイダーマン
The rest of the class was watching with growing awe. "Those two are amazing!" Kirishima shouted as the brawl continued. "I can barely follow some of their moves!"
Denki nodded, "I can't follow them at all," he said, "But man, these two have issues!" He shivered, "Did you hear some of the stuff they were saying?"
"I have a fairly good idea why Midoriya has so many scars across his body," Tokoyami said as he watched the fight, "Both hearts have their own darkness in them, though one still has a light shining through the dim."
Kyōka was having trouble not showing her anger at the situation while little Eri was watching the fight with growing worry. "Daddy's hurt!" She cried out as she saw Bakugō plow Izuku face first into the floor, an explosion going off point blank into his back. But the green glow of Izuku's bio-electricity exploded out of his body then in a massive surge that had the ashen blond slamming into the ceiling for a brief moment as Izuku made his escape. The two then engaged in hand to hand, raining blow after blow on each other.
The violet haired girl patted her back soothingly, "Come on, half-pint, your dad's not gonna let that puffed up cherrybomb beat him." She told the little girl, distracting her just in time as Izuku took an elbow to the face, "Remember, he's strong, right?"
"Extremely strong," Mezō Shōji said through a mouth on one of his tentacle arms, "I've hardly seen Pros take as much damage as these two are taking, but I'll be damned if they can't dole it out, either."
"The only great thing about you now is your ego!" Izuku suddenly shouted.
スパイダーマン
Plastique had Spider-Man in a sleeperhold attempting to knock him unconscious, "I'll prove just how great I am, you punk!" He hissed in the boy's ear, "I'll squash you just like the bug you are!"
Spider-Man growled as he reached a hand back toward Plastique's face, "The only thing great about you now," he curled his finger with electricity sparking around it, "Is your ego!" He flicked his finger and sent a powerful discharge into the blond's face through the tip of his nose.
Plastique howled as he was forced to let go of Spider-Man, his hands flying to his nose as the electrical surge coupled with the broken nose caused him blinding pain.
Spider-Man drove his elbows right into his gut. Following that up with a spinning knee right to the solar plexus, he now had Plastique on the ropes, "You don't know how disappointed I was in seeing you act like a monster!" He snapped and punched the dazed teen in the chest with another discharge. "When we were kids...you...you were the brother I always wanted!" The teen shouted at the stunned blond, "We were family! And you...You threw it all away just because some money hungry teachers stroked your pride!"
Plastique was losing his steam, and fast...and that was when one of his grenadier bracers chimed, turning red. "You want a monster?" He snapped, raising his right arm as he pulled back the handle on the grenade, unveiling the pin. "Then I'll show you a monster!"
スパイダーマン
As Kyōka saw the blond pointing his bracer at Izuku, she was sent into full on panic mode, "Oh god!" She looked at All Might, "Stop the fight right now, or he'll bring the whole building down!"
All Might was in agreement, "Young Bakugō, stop!" He roared into the microphone, "You'll kill him!"
But he was ignored as Bakugō pulled the pin from his weapon, and unleashed a storm of hellfire into the enclosed halls of the building.
The last thing they heard was Izuku, "What kind of a Hero tells someone to commit suicide?" The entire class heard Spider-Man's question just as he was lost in the torrent of flames produced by Plastique's Support Gear.
スパイダーマン
As the words left Spider-Man's mouth, Plastique's aim was thrown of by just a few centimeters to his right, giving the arachnid more than enough room to dodge the incoming blast by flattening himself against the wall while the explosive force rocketed through the hall and blew apart the walls as it struck.
Luckily the flames passed him quickly and the insulated suit was protecting him from the heat. As soon as they passed he was on the move while his electrical powers surged from the energy he took in from the blast. Plastique was too stunned at seeing him unharmed to react. As he raised the left bracer, Spider-Man fired off both Web Shooters at the handle, gumming up the mechanism too much for him to make use of it.
He then yanked the web line and pulled the bracer off. Plastique was furious and charged at him. Izuku reached for one of his cuffs and slapped it over the blond's outstretched arm. Plastique, not knowing what the device was, tried to blast it off, but was horrified to find that his Quirk no longer worked. "What the fu - !" He was stopped by a web shot to the mouth.
Spider-Man surged forward as the teen tried to get the stuff off, pulled off the other bracer, and started webbing his arms to his sides. "You know, Plastique, you're looking a little tired," Spider-Man quipped, "Why don't you stick around here for a while and rest?" He then jumped up to the ceiling, shooting two more web lines at his shoulders to lift him into the air, and started to cocoon him.
"MPH!" His former childhood friend/bully was glaring furiously at the Arachnid and was now hanging upside down, wriggling to try and free himself from the powerful webs.
Spider-Man backed away and admired his work, "Well, looks like we've finally wrapped things up, eh, Plastique?" He chuckled, "Now, I'd love to hang around with you, but I've got a test to win." As Spider-Man walked away and disappeared up the stairs, one would think that it was a flawless victory for the teen, however, even though he knew there were cameras in the building, he did a little "happy dance" for himself that had certain people laughing at him for it.
Way to go, Spidey.
スパイダーマン
"He won!" Eri shouted happily, an absolutely beautiful beaming smile on her face, "Daddy won! Daddy won!"
Kyoka was laughing herself silly at Izuku's little dance scene. [Oh my god, I so wanna tease him right now!]
"That. Was. EPIC!" Kirishima hollered, "That was the manliest fight I've ever seen!"
"Dude seriously put him down!" Kaminari cheered.
Tokoyami nodded sagely, "Light triumphed over the darkness."
All Might sighed in relief, his eyes still on the young man he had taken a liking to, "Well done, Young Midoriya." He said as he saw the young man leaned against the walls for support.
Momo didn't miss the gesture, "It looks like that fight took a lot out of him, though." She said, looking at Kyōka, "Do you think he'll be able to help Shinsō if it comes to a fight?"
Kyōka shrugged, "I'm not even sure what Shinsō can do," she reminded the girl, "For all we know, Shinsō can take Īda down all on his own."
Meanwhile...
Īda was monologuing to himself about how he would be the best Villain he could be when Shinsō found him, and it was lucky that he had a good control over his sense of humor, or else the Speedster's actions and words may have forced a laugh out of him.
{Katsuki Bakugō has been captured, and is no longer a participant of the test.} All Might announced.
[Nice one, Midoriya!] He thought to himself as Īda turned toward the weapon. [Alright, time to pay him back for keeping that mad bomber off of my back...I just hope Īda's as gullible as I think he is.]
He stepped out from hiding, "Excuse me, but where's the toilet?"
"I'm sorry, wha - ?" Īda froze mid sentence.
Shinsō grinned and waltzed right up to the fake bomb, "Bingo." He placed his hand on the side of it.
{The bomb has been captured! The Hero Team WIIIIIINS!}
