Sorata was in the city, standing atop a tall building, gazing at the sprawling view below. As he did, memories of when he was sixteen in the forest flashed through his mind.
(Flashback)
Sorata (16) was fighting a pack of beasts that resembled wolves, he looked at the beats with a smirk on his face as well as his destructive energy starting tk flare from his hands and a side of his face "Well, well. Looks like ive got trouble this night.", his smirk widened as he sneered softly with deranged excitement "Im gonna have some fun wity you dogs this night!". The beasts launched themselves at him with their claws and teeth ready to tear him apart, Sorata launched forward and started to dodge them as fast as he could, leaping from tree to tree, defending himself by blasting enormous amounts of his purple destructive energy, as well as using his energy to boost his speed in order to deal powerful and explosive punches that layed waste to the trees around him, as well as obliterating the beasts. Sorata's purple destructive energy burned trees and caused massive explosions with every release and every movement he made.
As he continued running, dodging, and unleashing his destructive energy across the forest while moving at insane and dangerous speeds, he felt the heat searing his skin. Sorata thought to himself "With the way my body is burning, I doubt I'll last for long.". He continued his monologue "But I've built up enough endurance and stamina to withstand the effects of my ability. I don't feel the pain anymore, so I should be fine.".
Suddenly, one of the wolves leapt behind him, claws extended to tear him apart. Sorata intercepted the incoming slash and dodged it, the slash of the beast was so powerful that it took down countless tree's with one swing. Sorata and the wolf beast were blitzing around the forest at dangerous speeds, tree's were torn into pieces. And with Sorata using his destructive energy to boost his speed and power as well as releasing dangerous blasts of his energy, the forest around them started to burn up with the rocks and trees blowing up due to the impact. Soared had an excited smile on his face as the beats launched towards him "ALRIGHT YOU FUCKING DOG! LETS GO!", he exclaimed with excitement.
(End of flashback)
After the flashback, Sorata smiled to himself. "I was sixteen at that time… hard to believe it's been nine years since that old man of a father kicked me out. But no matter… I'll kill him. Kojin, I'm coming for you."
Meanwhile, in the lightning country, Runo and Jiro were engaged in a relentless battle. Jiro maintained her distance, spitting out powerful lightning bolts that incinerated countless buildings, while Runo moved at incredible speeds as she dodged and sliced through the lightning bolts.
Seeing her lightning attacks failing to harm Runo, Jiro created a giant circle of lightning in the sky, covering the entire city "I'll fry you alive!", she sneered. The circle began powering up, gathering a massive amount of energy before firing it down at Runo.
Runo smirked. "Do you want to win that badly?" she said, summoning a giant laser cannon and firing a concentrated blast to counter the incoming lightning. As the lightning collided with her lasers, a colossal explosion erupted, destroying numerous buildings in a fiery shockwave.
Both Runo and Jiro panted heavily, exhausted from the immense energy they had expended.
Jiro thought to herself, "She's strong… really strong. She's been dodging my lightning while summoning and carrying heavy weapons and countering my attacks the entire time. If I'm not careful, she'll win.".
Runo, catching her breath, thought, "I'm not going to lie… I'm tuckered out. She's been blasting lightning non-stop. She's good. I could easily move fast enough to blitz and take her out of the fight, but using unnecessary speed that I'm not too used to would injured me as well.".
Runo then spoke aloud. "Hey, I can see you're tired. Why don't you take a rest and save the last of your energy?"
Jiro smirked. "Oh please. Out of the two of us, you're the one on the verge of collapsing. With your current energy level, you can't summon any more weapons, can you?"
Runo sighed. "You're right. I'm also extremely tired of fighting."
Jiro grinned and leapt toward Runo, ready to strike her face with lightning. "IF THAT'S THE CASE, I'LL JUST FINISH YOU OFF!" she yelled in excitement.
Runo reacted swiftly, summoning a bazooka and firing a powerful missile at Jiro, creating a massive explosion. Jiro jumped out of the explosion and threw a punch at Runo who was able to block the blow, the ground immediately broke apart due to the impact of said blow. Suddenly, Runo and Jiro started to move at incredible speeds as they they showcase incredible hand to hand combat. They were kicking and smashing each other across buildings with devastating power. Jiro created a cirlcle of lightning on her hands and fired a powerful burst of lightning at Runo. Runo seeing the incoming attack prepared herself, she summoned a blaster and shot a tramendous amount of energy in order to counter the blasts of lightning Jiro shot at her which resulted in another explosion of energy. The two girl continued to go blow for blow, both girls were unrelating. They shot beams at each other, threw kicks at each other and even started clashing daggers at some point. Runo found it hard to keep up for a moment "Tch! Her raw power is dangerous, I have to do something before she gets the upper hand.", Runo thought to herself. Jiro packed her hand with lightning and shot it at her, Runo was able to dodge the attack of lightning from Jiro that flew out of the city and destroyed a few nearby mountains "Tch! What a pain!", Runo gritted her teeth in frustration. Jiro came in for the finishing blow packed with an enormous voltage of lightning "YOU'VE BEEN DISTRACTED! NOW DIE!", she yelled. Runo summoned a bazooka "HELL NO!", she exclaimed and shot out a powerful missile at Jiro at a speed faster than Jiro could properly precieve. Jiro paused for a moment "Huh?!", she exclaimed before she got obliterated by Runo's attack in a devastating explosion.
The dust settled, Runo took to her knees and started taking a deep breath, she exhaled and murmured to herself, "Looks like it's finally over, huh… She then sat down, speaking softly, "Well, now that this is over… what should I do? Walk around and enjoy the breeze?"
Mori appeared beside her. "Looks like you had this under control. I was worried I'd have to step in."
Runo replied, smiling, "Oh c'mon, you know I'm better than that. I wonder how Deo is doing."
Mori teased her. "Ohh, you mean your crush? He'll be fine."
Runo's face turned red with shock. "He's not my crush, okay?" She began acting shy, blushing as she continued, "I just have feelings for him, that's all. And besides, I already told him how I felt… and he said he'd think about it."
Mori sighed. "Get up. Let's take a walk now that it's over. We won't be teleported out of here unless all of our opponents are done. Let's take the time to relax."
