'The Old Man finally croaked his last one...'
This is what Angelo first thought when he heard the news.
Honestly, he felt bad for a second. Because while he didn't have many chances to interact with that old fool, he was still the oldest senior here. And despite their relationship becoming sour over time, he was still thankful for the old man since it was him who told him how things worked here, just like what he did for Cedric.
Angelo didn't hate the old man. If anything, he's just disappointed that their amicable relationship at the start turned bitter because of Tyrla, the arrogant son of a bitch who constantly looked down on him for being human.
It was Tyrla who turned the old man against him, and the old fool fell for it. He was obstinate and rigid; because of that, their once amicable relationship turned cold, and Angelo had been saddened by that ever since.
