Shen Qinglan looked around the yard and asked, "Why haven't I seen Big Cousin and Aunt?"
Zhang Xiaolian laughed and said, "Mother went to the fields to bring water for irrigation, and your Big Cousin took Little Tao to play at the village entrance."
Shen Qinglan suddenly understood, "No wonder I didn't see anyone!"
Zhuang Ruyue came out of the kitchen and said to Zhang Xiaolian, "Sister-in-law, the dishes are by the stove. I'm going to drive the chickens back into the coop."
"Okay!" Zhang Xiaolian laughed and said, "Qinglan, you sit first, I'll go stir-fry some dishes."
Shen Qinglan nodded, "Go ahead."
She raised her head to look towards Zhuang Ruyue and saw her scattering chicken feed into the coop. When the chickens scrambled in to fight for food, she closed the coop door.
Zhang Xiaolian seemed to remember something and ran out of the kitchen, shouting, "Sister-in-law, the hen with the chicks should be kept separately."
