Everything began 29 billion years ago. God, seized by a deep boredom, turned to his divine advisor, Zeus.
Zeus, my dear advisor, what could you suggest to help me escape this boredom?
Honestly, I don't know, replied Zeus. Besides, you already knew that; you know everything. I don't even understand why you created me as an advisor-I'm useless to you, except to distract you by discussing useless things you already know.
Don't say that, replied God. If I created you, it's so you could accomplish great things. I will create a world to entertain myself, and you can even control it entirely. What do you say?
Why not, agreed Zeus. I'd like to see what you mean by "entertain"...
Then God stretched out his hand and created paradise, then Lucifer. He entrusted Lucifer with the guardianship of paradise and gave him a share of His power. Lucifer accepted and began fulfilling his mission.
A few million years passed, and Zeus noticed something strange.
Father, don't you see that Satan is bored too? He is alone in this world.
Indeed, admitted God. Over time, boredom has also taken hold of him. I will change that!
God then created Adam, the father of humanity, the very first human.
From there, the story followed roughly that of the Bible: Satan pushed Eve and Adam to eat the forbidden fruit, God banished Lucifer from paradise and sent him, along with Adam and Eve, into a void called the nothingness.
Later, God spoke with Zeus about His plans.
Zeus, where did I make the mistake? In any case, it's up to you to govern now. Maybe I failed, but I would like to see how you would handle a similar situation, my dear advisor.
God then created the hierarchy of gods and placed Zeus at their head, king of the gods. For Adam and Eve, He fashioned a small world, barely the size of a country, where they could survive.
Lucifer, on his side, sought to take control of humans and harassed this small world. Zeus prevented him, but eventually was overwhelmed himself and handed management back to God.
Father, why did you name me king of the gods if I govern no one? You are the absolute God, the God of gods. I will never be able to rule over a being like you...
I understand you, replied God.
Particles of divine energy then projected into the realm of the gods, creating a multitude of deities, omnipotent gods above existence and non-existence. Only Zeus possessed an original power of their own; the others were his subjects.
Zeus reigned but was constantly disturbed by the devil, who created demons to harm the other gods.
Enough, declared God. I will create someone who will protect you from Lucifer's misdeeds and put an end to all this turmoil.
God then created the world of existence and entrusted it to humans, descendants of Adam and Eve, now lost in time. At the same time, He shaped the universe and the multiverse, and gave birth to a goddess with powers linked to life and death: Mü Thanatos.
Her creation differed from that of other gods, as she was born a baby but already possessed power surpassing all gods except Zeus and Lucifer. To accompany her, God gave her a divine advisor named Wamy, a being of immense strength, beyond even existence and non-existence, commanding considerable respect.
Shortly after Mü Thanatos's birth, a divine servant, frightened by the impressive power of this baby, considered eliminating her, fearing for his own future.
But Wamy, dressed in his black angel wings and a slightly torn outfit covering his entire body, calmly intervened.
What do you intend to do? he asked the servant.
That's none of your business, the servant replied coldly.
Very well, then let me take care of this baby.
The servant refused and attacked Wamy. Although endowed with the powers of a low-ranking god, he was far too weak against Wamy, who existed beyond existence. In an instant, the servant lost his life without understanding what had happened.
Wamy then took Mü Thanatos in his arms.
My goddess, I have finally found you. You will lack nothing, I promise you.
Twelve years passed. Mü Thanatos, intrigued, asked Wamy a question.
How old are you, Wamy?
He looked up at her.
I am the same age as you, of course.
Then why are you bigger and seem wiser, when we are the same age?
I don't know, he replied. But I will do everything to teach you what I know, because it is my role as divine advisor. And besides, I adore you.
Mü Thanatos smiled.
Very well, Wamy. Then never stop loving me.
She turned away, while Wamy, bowing, fervently replied:
Impossible, my goddess. I will love you forever, without regret.
Six billion years passed until a conflict erupted between Wamy and the Presence, also called the Great Goddess, the second most powerful after Mü Thanatos in the divine hierarchy.
The battle took place in the world of existence. Wamy, using 80% of his power, cornered the Great Goddess and gave her a mocking smile.
Is that all your strength? Pathetic. I thought you were among the top 5 most powerful gods. I expected better.
The Great Goddess sighed.
Wamy, why are you so stupid? I haven't even used 3% of my strength. Very well, I will raise it a notch, just to make you suffer.
Wamy stepped back, nervous.
She's bluffing, he thought. She can't be more powerful than now.
But the Great Goddess deployed 15% of her power and merged with the world of existence. Her movements became unpredictable, and she launched attacks like tentacles. Wamy was caught off guard, struck in the back. Trapped, he saw the Great Goddess grow as her tentacles extended to the edges of the universe, reaching the size of a tree, then a planet like Jupiter. Another planet quickly appeared and crushed Wamy, causing a devastating shockwave.
Wamy reappeared in another universe.
What was that? he murmured. I felt it everywhere and nowhere at once, even inside me, attacking me from within and weakening me. She was attacking me from all sides.
A voice was heard in the universe.
You're still alive? That doesn't surprise me. Big talkers like you always have thick skin. I will kill you and end this madness!
Wamy smiled and softly applauded.
Very well, I see I underestimated you. You are strong, very strong. I don't even know if I could beat you, but I'll keep it simple.
I will not disappear. You know why? Because my goddess has not decided it. And if she doesn't decide it, nothing will happen to me. My love for her is priceless, you understand?
The Great Goddess laughed.
What? You won't hear me say that? You're just an insect born to annoy me. I won't kill you, no. I will massacre you so much that Mü Thanatos will have to kill you herself, because she won't bear to see you in the state I have in store for you, hahaha!
The fight continued, destroying everything in its path. Wamy seemed to flee without counterattacking, which exasperated the Great Goddess.
Is that your best ability? Running away? You talked a lot, but you know you're no match, so you run away!
Wamy did not answer. Focused, he searched for a way to strike the Great Goddess.
Where can I hit her? he thought. If I destroyed the world of existence in one blow? I can't even anticipate her attacks or think clearly. I'm really in trouble.
The Great Goddess changed her trajectory, directing Wamy toward a planet. Her tentacles sprang everywhere. Wamy, aware of the danger, tried to move away, using the Presence's powers to counter the attacks, but he was overwhelmed.
He then extended a protective aura around himself, which allowed him to easily dodge the tentacles and disintegrate those that were about to touch him.
Thanks to this, he quickly left the planet, which exploded under the failed assaults of the Great Goddess.
Furious, the Great Goddess began slowly stripping Wamy of his powers.
But Wamy was too fast to be caught. He spun around the multiverses in an instant, feeling his strength diminish, which slowed him down little by little.
He soon found himself in a bad position, about to be crushed by a gigantic hand, the size of a universe.
Finally an opening, he thought. It's now or never!
He struck the hand with all his might, almost to the point of destroying the world of existence. The Great Goddess screamed in rage, but not in pain. Being hit by Wamy deeply surprised her, as she considered him a mere insect.
Meanwhile, Mü Thanatos was talking with Zeus in another world, called the world of myths. This world, forty thousand times larger than the world of existence, was strikingly beautiful but contained neither universe, nor multiverse, nor planet, unlike its neighbors...
