He hovered above the battlefield. The violet aura around him flickering violently. The Mana of the Underworld coiling across his limbs like smoke. Despite the chaos his mind actually remained clear. He could feel it.
The portal's tether was weakening.
One rune was already gone, and he could sense the fracture in the link between realms.
If the others were destroyed too, the connection to the Underworld would collapse entirely.
Rama was close to succeeding.
Caedryn growled under his breath. He couldn't allow that.
