An hour later, Old Master Lawrence left the villa with the Housekeeper.
Enna Clark had just coaxed the two children to take a bath and had finally settled down in the living room to rest.
Edward Jackson called out to her, "Enna, come over here."
"Huh? Okay." Enna followed him to the garden.
The garden also had lounge chairs for resting. Edward Jackson sat in one and gently tapped the spot next to him, saying to her, "Sit."
Enna sat down.
Edward Jackson got straight to the point, "Just now, Old Master Lawrence talked to me about the idea of a marriage alliance between the two families. What do you think?"
In truth, he believed Lyle Westbrook was more suitable for Enna.
Because of the relationship between the older generation of the two families, the Old Lady was, in a sense, a half-elder to Lyle Westbrook. Even if the two of them got married and quarreled in the future, they'd have someone to talk sense to them.
Baron Lawrence was different.
