Ignoring Keira Leaf's struggles, Joshua Sulliven took her forcefully twice on the study desk, finally venting some of his simmering anger. His shirt half open, he sat back in the boss's chair that had been pushed aside and casually lit another cigarette.
Keira Leaf, her eyes reddened, climbed down from the table. Lowering her head without saying a word, she began tidying up her clothes.
"Bastard--!"
"Joshua Sulliven, you damn bastard! I'll never speak to you again!"
Though they were an old couple and she didn't want to fuss unnecessarily about such things, the thought of being forced upon by someone just because he was in a bad mood made anyone's spirits sink.
After jumping off the table onto the ground, Keira Leaf found her two slippers. Without glancing at the man nearby, she turned to leave.
Joshua Sulliven lifted his eyelids, casting a glance at the woman's departing figure amidst the swirling smoke, and spoke in a grave voice: "Come back."
