Adrian Desmond's phone rang. Seeing it was Aaron Faber calling, he answered, listened to Aaron's report, and then hung up.
Adrian said to Sienna Johnson, "I have some matters to deal with. You go home first, and I'll come back when I'm done."
Sienna looked at him in surprise. It was rare for Adrian, who was usually very clingy, to suddenly leave her to attend to his own affairs.
"Alright," Sienna said. "You take care of your business. Don't worry about me; I can take care of myself."
Adrian, still concerned, said, "My phone will always be on, so call me if you need anything."
"Okay," she confirmed.
"I'm leaving now."
"Alright."
Sienna asked Mr. Leonard to pull the car over to the side of the road. Adrian glanced at her, his worry still evident, but he eventually got out of her car and into the bodyguards' vehicle that had been following them, which then drove off.
